It was all right. Competitive quote, but then $2500 in additional costs were added on discovery of former cedar shingle roof under the existing asphalt shingles. Understandable. Small leak in previous roof was fixed; all dry through the winter. BUT: Removal of old roof was VERY messy. Crew did not tarp off areas below well enough; we were removing nails from our lawn and driveway for MONTHS afterwards, and even lost a tire to an errant nail. Siding and deck were scuffed and dinged from falling materials, with only some cleanup. Gutters were left filled with grit and debris, despite numerous reminders to clean them. Crew (from away) worked very hard, came back to clean up (mostly), and were done in two days, including some work after dark. Still, due to the mess, would not recommend for jobs requiring a white-glove touch like historic properties or homes with new paint jobs.

The best thing about this company was that they came on time and got the entire roof done in one day. They were not the cheapest but the timing was critical as I did want to get the building secured for the winter. So many roofers promise a date and then keep moving it around - Roof masters told me a week and then actually came early and just before heavy snow so it worked out really well for me.

It was terrible from day one, when the crew did not appear as scheduled. I called the salesman, who told me he forgot to tell me the crew wouldn't be there until the next day. They didn't show the next day, either, and I wasn't told. The one day job turned into two and a half days and they put a hole in my bathroom ceiling and broke my front light fixture. The salesman rarely followed through on anything he said. I paid them when they finally repaired the damage done to my home. I would not recommend this company under any circumstances. When I called the office to try to get some straight answers my call was not returned. Incredibly unprofessional all around.

Was referred to Roof Masters by my Farmer's Insurance Agent. They not only fixed the roof but managed the whole process for me and did a great job. I would highly recommend them if you need your roof repaired.

Dave at Roof Masters was outstanding and worked in a professional manner throughout the entire process. His three hardworking employees did all of the work in one day. They were polite and worked with speed and great care. On completion the work areas were cleaned up nicely. The shingles and metal roof were carried away the following day. The process went smoothly and with no problems. The roof looks great and has a ten year warranty.

They were very professional, ethical, honest about the job and the repair and what caused it. Very polite. Patient and answered all my questions. Overall great job. There was no smoking on property either which I very much appreciated.

On Aug 18 2020 I signed a contract and gave a $1600 deposit (made out to owner Dave McKeage, not Roof Masters) for a new roof. Kevin was a good salesman and nice guy so we were convinced when he offered free gutters if we’d sign that day. When the crew (Ortiz Construction- they put a Roof Masters magnet on top of their van logo) showed up on Sept 3, they said the job was underestimated substantially. After speaking with the crew and with Kevin, Roof Masters wouldn’t be able to do the project at the quoted price- they would lose money. It’s an honest enough mistake, but we had similar quote with a local company, so I asked for my deposit back. Kevin said no problem and apologized. That was a month ago and I have left a dozen messages, emails and website inquiries with no response- even specifically asking them to call or email me back with some sort of acknowledgement. Kevin would respond to text messages, simply saying “I’ll ask again” but with nothing actionable happening. I’m fed up with their ghosting me for a refund of my deposit- this is poor business practice and customer service. It was because of their not measuring the roof correctly (they apparently use only satellite images- there was never a camera or tape measure pulled out) that the work didn’t get done. What will happen when they have your money and you need a repair that falls under warranty? Good luck getting in touch with someone. They have an F rating with the BBB and it’s pretty sketchy that all the glowing reviews on both the BBB and Angie’s list have occurred since March 2020. I will happily update my review if they make this right and refund my deposit. I want others to know about this and steer clear of Roof Masters- they're not what they seem from these reviews!!!

Roof Masters was professional and thorough. My roof issues were resolved and I will definitely use them again.

Excellent. Great crew and perfect installation. Mr. Ortiz solved an issue we've had for years where a gap occasionally allowed insects into the house.

Everything went great guys showed up and got it all done in one day did a thorough cleaning of the yard and magnet ? sweep for nails. Roof ? awesome. Already getting compliments after one day. Would highly recommend them ?
