Roof Rx

In spite of my warnings to be extremely careful when working on roof to prevent breaking tile, along with a suggestion to use the large plywood panels I have for roof cleaning, their technician walked on the roof with just his shoes.  While managing to repair a few broken tiles with spares I had, he broke a number of other tiles and, wit no additional replacements, inserted metal flashing in their place (noticeable and ugly).  He then suggested sources for replacement tile at my cost.  I will not consider this company again. <br />

Although it didn't go so well for me, I still think it is a pretty good company, since they stood behind it in the end. First, the technician came out to do the "tune-up". He did an overall check and repair of the roof , paying particular attention to the area where I had recently had a leak. He told me that the roof needed more repairs than the time for the "deal" allowed. We agreed that he would come back and for $300 he would do additional repairs (re-adjusting /replacing tiles, gluing back broken corners of tiles, etc.) After the second visit he assured me that I was ready for the rain. After the first rain, my ceiling collapsed from a leak in the same place that it had leaked before! I called them immediately, but they could not schedule an appointment for less than a week ahead. Since I had a repairman in to fix the ceiling right away, I wanted them to come while the ceiling was open in order to get a better idea of what the roof problem was. Anyway, that didn't happen. The ceiling was fixed, and finally, the next week the Roof Rx technician came out. They did try to postpone that visit, but since there was rain in the forecast for the next day, I had to insist that they keep the appointment. From there, things went better. Technician Robert W. was determined to address the issue, and from photos I had taken while the ceiling was open, he seemed to have a good idea of the problem. He spent a good deal of time on my roof that day, and I appreciated his attentiveness to my problem. He also took time to explain some roof maintenance tips that I also appreciated. The rains came for the next few days, with strong winds, and there is no sign of any leaks! Whew! Although it is not their policy to cover the cost of the resulting ceiling repairs, Supervisor Joel offered to refund the $300 from the second visit, which I consider fair. Even though things didn't go so well, I do believe I would call on this company again. (Also, the technician that did my initial visits is no longer with the company)

I purchased an Angie's List discount deal to inspect and repair my tile roof. The gentleman arrived on time for the appt and used his iPad to take pics of some of the areas of concern on the roof. When done, he showed me the pics and then went to work. He spent a few hours fixing some slipped, broken and chipped tiles as per the pre-paid deal but he also did a really nice job cleaning lots of leaves off the roof and out of the gutters. Great service and awesome value! <br />

Roof RX fixed a number of slipped tiles and glued a number of broken tiles. I'm glad I had my roof checked because these Monrier tiles slipped in the past which caused a leak all the way through my ceiling. (evidently the wire used to hold them in place rusts away after about 25 years). I had the slipped tiles fixed and general roof maintenance done about 4 years ago by a different roofing company. Who knew the 50 year warranty on the tile roof didn't cover slippage so this will be an ongoing upkeep for me about every 4 or 5 years. The prior roofer also did a great job repairing. Roof RX also checked pipe fittings to make sure they were not going to leak and he did compliment the prior contractor for doing a good job. He took pictures of the repairs he made and offered to email them to me. He did a very professional job, he was very thorough and knowledgeable. <br />

Roof inspection and minor tile repair. Used Angie's List $149 coupon and that was all I need for the inspection and minor repairs. Good job, on time, professional, and respectful.

My number one motivation was to clean my gutters. I wanted to get that and my roof repaired at the same time. Then the guy showed up and said they do not do gutters.

The roofing technician was extremely professional and explained what he was doing and why throughout the job. The work was completed within the time he estimated it would take. I was impressed. <br />

I was called in advance to schedule a date - chosen from a list I had given. On that date the contractor called prior to coming and was exactly on time. He checked out a couple of spots inside where there was indication of a leak (took off his shoes while inside) and made sure to report on them when he had finished. I did not go up and inspect his work, but I believe he did an excellent job adjusting tiles and sealing flashings. The entire process to about an hour and a quarter. <br />

First of all the tech called and asked if he could come a half hour early, which was really unusual. After meeting him he inspected my roof and gave me the details saying my roof looked like it was in very good shape for 20 years old. He did a few minor repairs, took some pictures and finished his job in about 2 hours. We will see how it looks after the first rain. Tech was very professional and sounded like he been doing it for quite a few years. Do plan on using this company in the future. This service was performed in Fresno using a groupon. <br />

They did a good job for me and they were timely. They responded real fast. They set the date and they did the job when I wanted it done.
