Great experience. Used Angi before to get help on other things and hasn’t been very positive. But this one wasn’t one of them. Jamie and Austin were great to work with. Even though it was just a smaller repair, they were quick and went over and beyond. Will be doing a full roof with them here soon. Highly recommended!

Roof Tek came out quickly, gave an estimate for the work on the spot and then repaired the day after we called to hire them. They located the source for our leak which was the kitchen exhaust fan and not really the roof itself. They also sealed up some other vents on the roof, cleared out our gutters and added moss treatment while they were up there too. They got the work done right before some really bad weather so, we really appreciated them fitting us in and the icy weather the following week tested their work! I definitely recommend them and would hire them again.

It went very well! They finished very quickly, they had four guys working and the owner's son was lead on it. And he was easy to work with, he kept me informed on what he was doing and they did when they got all done, they cleaned very well, all their mess was gone and the job looks very well done.

It was awesome! The work was done quickly, and all the debris was taken away, the owner was a great man, he was always available, and the workers were great, they were friendly and courteous, even did little favors to help me out whike they were there working, the price was really good for the work. I have nothing but good things to say about the experience! I would totally recommend them to anyone needing roof work!

I am 100% satisfied with the roof and gutter work done by Roof Tek. Jamie gave me a competitive, knowledgeable quote, and he provided insurance and license documents at our first meeting. His roofing crew is obviously very experienced; they completed the entire job in only a few days, and they left the job site immaculately clean. I inspected their work when they were finished and it was absolutely perfect. The new gutter system is solid and it looks great, and the new shingles and flashing are flawless. I was particularly impressed with their detail around the skylights and vent flashing. I was also impressed that the crew seemed happy and they worked well as a team.

<p>I discovered that I had some extensive dry rot in my roof.  I was frantic. I needed to get the roof replaced fast.  I called about 8 contractors and left messages for them to call me back so that I could get a bid for repair and replacing my roof.  Only three  bothered to call me back and all 3 gave me a bid.  Two of the bidders said that they couldn't get on my roof until November or December.  I had never used Angie's List before but decided to check it out.  I looked through the listings for roofing contractors and read the reviews.  I decided to call Roof Tech Specialties even though they were located about 60 miles away.  I got ahold of Jamie Stepp.  He told me that he would come by at 1:00 the next day to give me a bid.  The next day at 12:30 he was considerate enough to  call  me to let me know that he would be about 45 minutes later than 1:00.  When he got there, he did a thorough inspection of my house and gave me a bid that was acceptable to me an my wife.  I asked him how soon they could get started.  He told me in two weeks.  I was elated.  A couple days later Jamie called me and asked if they could get started on  the next day.   WOW!!   The crew arrived on schedule and went right to work.  The job took 3 days and these were the hottest days of this Summer.  I supplied the crew with Ice water that was much needed.  I will have to say that all of the crew we really great.  Jamie over saw the work and worked along with the crew.  I am very pleased with the job that they did.  They cleaned up after themselves and there was not a trace of the old roofing left any where around my property.  I have a two and a half car garage that also needs a new roof and Jamie and his men are going to replace that roof soon.  I will certainly be recommending  Roof Tech Specialties to anyone else that I know that is needing a new roof.</p> <p>Alan Leach</p> <p>Bay City, OR <strong> </strong><br /> <br /></p> <br />

They were professional and did a great job. Having roofers on the house is disconcerting and loud (read: annoying), so we were very appreciative of how fast they got the job done. Don Phillips (owner) and Jamie (on job supervisor) came out a few days ahead and walked around the whole house with us and told us what to expect and answered our questions. Then exactly when scheduled the work crew team descended on the house and worked hard and fast and and quot;bangedand quot; it out in a few days so it felt like they were in there and out of there in no time flat! Everyone was friendly and conscientious. A few weeks later we noticed a small opening, not a defect but just an opening, where birds liked to nest. We called Don and he had someone out there the next day to close it off. They were conscientious and responsive even AFTER the job was finished and they'd been paid. <br />

They were prompt, courteous and stuck to their bid. I liked the fact that they were owner operated and I would highly recommend them.

I called Don (the owner) for a quote the previous week as we were in the process of negotiating the purchase price on the home and found his price to be competitive with two other quotes I received: what separated him from the others was an eagerness to answer any and all questions and his overall approach to the customer. When we were able to close of the house on 3/7/13 I notified RoofTech than they had the job and could they start as soon as possible (or weather permitting which is always an issue in Oregon during the winter.) Don informed me that it looked like they had a three days starting on Friday (3/8/13) and he met me the afternoon of 3/7/13 and started work the next day. The whole job was completed by Sunday (3/10/13 and there was absolutely no mess or debris around the house when the job was done. There were a few minor areas of rot which were dealt with as well as two missing rafter tails that were never installed when the house was built....Don and his team knew what was needed, fixed the problems and documented what was done and why it was done. <br /> An overall excellent experience and a company I would recommend without hesitation! <br />

I was very pleased with their work. They removed the old roof and repaired areas that needed to be repaired. They cleaned up all the debris and didn't leave anything behind. Their fee was reasonable and their work was high quality. I even recommended them to my neighbor and they replaced his roof also.

After getting six estimates, we decided to go with Roof Tech Specialists to replace our composition roof. We liked the reviews from Angie's List and our experience pretty much mirrored what the reviewers had to say. They were very professional. They gave us their recommendations on a few issues. I felt they supported their recommendations because they felt it would give us a better roof, not because they would make more from the job. The crew was very courteous and worked extremely hard. They communicated well, arrived when they said they would and completed the job within the time frame they estimated on. Clean up was great. I would recommend them without hesitation.

They were really great at explaining all the options and costs. We had to replace more plywood than expected, but they were very thorough in documenting that and explaining it to us. They replaced 4 other roofs on this street too. They worked quickly, getting the paper on before the rain started. They left the area pretty clean of debris too. I found some shingle bits, etc, but most important - I did NOT find any nails, they were very thorough about cleaning those up. I would highly recommend them. Our roof looks great!

Roof Tech Specialties did an excellent job of replacing our roof and they did so in a timely manner. This happened about a year ago so I don't remember the exact date or the exact cost. I do remember that I was very impressed with their professionalism and the quality of their work.

My husband and I contacted many roofing companies earlier in the year (7 in all) for estimates on replacing our roof in the spring. We received lots of information and pricing from each company and met with lots of over energetic reps in business suits, but decided to go with Roof Tech Specialties. We chose RTS for many reasons but mostly because of Jamie Stepp: 1. After meeting Jamie, we knew right away that he was the one for us. We just clicked right away. Jamie Stepp was an absolute pleasure to work with. He not only took the time to explain everything in easy to understand detail, he was not your typical pushy, money hungry sales rep whose only interest is getting your money.......Nope not Jamie - he was a down to earth young man who really cares about his work and his reputation. He wasn't even irritated with some of the stupid questions we asked and didn't make us feel like idiots for not knowing much about roofing. And his work crew - they were the greatest group of guys. Friendly, courteous and professional with a fun sense of humor. I can honestly say it was a pleasure having them work on my roof. I love to see a team work together as one. 2. Cost - We felt they did not try to rip us off. We felt their prices were very fair and even with the unexpected repairs, we were able to stay within our budget. Jamie thank you for the wonderful job of replacing our roof and thank you for showing us that there are still great people like you and your crew out there working to make life better for all of us. 3. Professionalism - This is a very professional group of men with a fun sense of humor too! You Rock! 4. Guarantees - Roof Tech Specialties will come back and inspect my roof from time to time, clean my gutters for the next year and contact us from time to time to see how things are going. This is one company you can trust. Never having experienced this type of issue before I was scared to hire anyone. I called Don and he responded immediately in a courteous and professional manner. He took the time to explain roofing in general. He took the time to walk me through all of the issues we were facing. He showed me the problem areas. He was amazing in terms of customer service and price. He came out immediately after my call in the middle of the recent rainstorm. Gave an estimate and then he completed all work less than two days later. He returns all calls. Never lets you sit and wait like the cable guys do. I definitely recommend him for any job you may have.
