The provider has not contacted me to schedule the service. I prepaid for an Angie's List "Deal" on 7/23/15. I provided 3 dates to have the service performed during the week of 8/3. The provider sent me an email confirming they received the request on 7/23 but they have not attempted to contact me since then. I have called and left a message, I sent 4 email messages and I reached out to Angie's List customer service yesterday. Still nothing. I'm very disappointed. <br /> <br /> UPDATE: Chris reached out to me on 8/11. He and I agreed to give him a chance to complete the work. He explained the new process where customers buy packages on line and enter dates for service is new and there will be an adjustment period as they incorporate this into their business plan.

<p>Coordinated via text and phone. When they got here they went immediately to work and stayed until after 6m. They seemed to know their business. I was satisfied with the services performed.</p> <br />

Rooks did some really good and beautiful work for me (though the work was mostly actually done by a different lawn service) however the job that I paid for was never completely finished. 1st, no liner was placed under the pine straw as I requested and had ready to use, so within a week I had weeds growing back in my gardens. The edging never got placed. I actually paid someone else a great deal less than what was originally paid to Rooks to lay the edging. I also requested to setup maintenance and follow-up. Once they were gone, I have yet to hear from them. <br /> I do hate it, because Chris and Gregg were very nice and good guys. Maybe just overwhelmed with work and quality failed a little. <br />

"I tried to contact my customer to discuss this review. I was never paid for some of the hoses I purchased for the job (around $100) and that includes the timer. I discussed the weed fabric and she didn't want to pay the price. She did agree to use pre emergent to slow/stop most weeds. Reason I did not instal edging was lowes had not ordered the color she wanted. While I was waiting for lowes to get edging in, I found a different type for another job scheduled for a few months later. I made the mistake of not keeping my customer up to date as to when I would be back to instal the edging. Honestly I was under the impression that she LOVED the work because she never told me any different. I never collected 1,200 for the work. I only collected for the work that had been completed. I was on the job every single day of the work, she wouldn't know any different because she was at work during the day. Greg is my business partner that dose in fact run a reputable/well known company of his own. We do great work together and both have the same goals/Christian morals/and trust with each other. Very sorry I had not explained my whole life to this customer. I hope she will forgive me for any misunderstanding and hire me again to insure quality work in the future instead of someone off the street with no insurance, just to receive cheap non quality labor."

The same day quality service was exceptional! When I called, Chris responded that he could meet with me right away; all other places I called couldn't get to the job for days. He was punctual and very professional. He and his associate spent all day in my yard and really went the extra mile to ensure the job was done right. They explained everything before they did it. They explained associated costs and asked if I wanted to proceed with each step. They were very involved and made me feel like they really cared about making the customer happy and taking care of my lawn. I'd use them again and I highly recommend them for all your lawn care needs!

My grandmother's yard was in a very bad way and was in serious need of attention/repair. When heavy rain came, there were several mud-holes that would develop, and basically just a sloppy mess in various other parts of the driveway area and yard. <br /> Thanks to the superb job accomplished by Rooks Lawn Service, this is no longer the case, and I now longer have to worry about my very elderly grandmother's safety when out and about in her yard, especially after rain fall. <br /> Additionally, I did shop around prior to hiring Rooks Lawn Service, and their prices and professionalism (customer-focused) were far superior in my opinion to other companies that I initially contacted. I highly recommend Rooks Lawn Service to anyone and would not hesitate to call them again in the future as my #1 choice for my lawn and yard care needs. <br />

Chris did a great job with the clearing and the mowing. However, it was a rainy season, and he got behind on his schedule. I noticed that other lawn services in my neighborhood were able to keep up with their clients during the season. At one point, it had been three weeks between mowings, and our lawn was very over-grown since he was still unable to get to us. Although he was very apologetic, we had to switch service providers.

"We really did have rain every day for almost two weeks straight. That was some very unusual weather for us to try and work against!! If I would have tried to rush through my customers then I wouldn't be doing a professional job. I really did try my hardest to get her property serviced but some things Mother Nature throws at us that we just can't control. I did call and let her know what my situation was at that time."

They do a beautiful job and the maintenance is great. He's very affordable. He'll call if needs to reschedule and he's very dependable. The basic lawn care is between $40-$50 a week, but if I ask him to do other services they each have their own additional cost.
