Great experience from beginning to end. These guys worked fast. They even changed out a P-trap that was leaking that wasn't in the scope of work.

It went well until I noticed that the 'rooter' (or 'snake') Mike (the service representative) was using had no root-cutting blades on the end of it. There was only the spiral end of the snake, which although partially effective in snagging roots, was not large enough to give me any confidence that most of the roots blocking our drain would be removed. When he had reeled back in his snake (having removed a handful of roots), I asked Mike whether he could run it again. He gave me a lame excuse about why that would be dangerous for his equipment. (Isn't the equipment designed to do this job?) He recommended hydro-jetting the drain for a more effective job of clearing out the tree roots. He said he could run a camera down it to show me how many roots remained (at no extra cost), and when I accepted this offer told me that he didn't have his camera with him and would be back shortly. More than an hour later he returned with his equipment, but by then our patience had run out (it was time to start dinner), and I thanked him for his help but told him that "we had seen enough" and would not require any further help. I paid him for the job at the agreed rate. I learned that I should have asked at the outset whether the snake they would be using would be fitted with blades to cut away roots. It was clear that what they were doing was "selling up"; that is, they were trying to get us to purchase a more costly service, when what we wanted (and what we asked for) was simply an effective "low-tech" drain clearing. The next day was a laundry day for us, and sure enough, our drain was backing up into the bathtub again. We called on another service provider this time, one who could tell us that he had blades on the end of his rooter.

I made a phone call yesterday 4-26-18 to the 1800 plumbing. The receptionist was attentive and sweet. She wanted to send a plumber that same night I called. She made me an appointment for the next business day between 3-5 p.m. They had Ismael C. at my home at the time we agreed. Ismael took about half an hour to finish the job. His work is very professional. I am truly happy with his knowledge, and the performance of his work. Their price was reasonable $189. Thank you so much Ismael C.

The lady answering the phone sounded not very professional. There was excessive background noise from what sounded like a party. She took my basic info and anticipated having service to me in about half an hour. One hour later, I called for an update and got an answering machine. Asked for an update. Servicing plumber, Jonathan, called to say he was on the way. One hour later, I called his cell. He had been delayed by last work. Once he arrived, he quickly saw what needed to be done, went to Home Depot to get the parts, and quickly and professionally replaced both the hot and cold inlet pipes, as I asked. Very knowledgeable, professional, and courteous. Pricing was probably average, but was right on his estimate.

Didn't see any dirt coming out. They hooked a hose to it. Still making noise. However, I had to pay additional cost that wasn't upfront in the deal.

In short, not good. Read on. They came on time, and did not have any CD or memory chip to provide me with the video results, so they had to go buy an SD card. They charged me an extra $50 for it. Then, they did the job and gave me the card. The receipt had a 6 word sentence as the report. I could not view the video on my laptop (an Apple). My realtor was able to view it. It had a 2005 date on it. My realtor said the written report plus the video was inadequate. He said that usually there is a narrative on the video explaining what is being seen, and a real report. These guys did not do that. When I contacted the company to have them fix the date and provide a more detailed report, it took 2 weeks to get anything, and then, it was (2) sentences, signed by the secretary, no mention of the company name, or the technician's name, and in a Gmail email. When I pursued putting it all together on a company letter, telling the name of the technician, the proper date, a serious explanation, etc, they gave me a hard time. In the end, I gave up, hired another company, and asked for my money back, since it did not serve my needs. I pointed out several times, that when I called them and asked them if they did this sort of work, I told them it was part of a real estate sale and had to be done properly and all. I told the technician the same thing when he showed up to do the work and didn't have any way to provide me with a record of the video. The next day I had the new company come out. They did a superb job. The video was clear, the narrative accompanied the video, they went all the way to the street (no extra charge), and the written report (2 pages with recommendations and detailed explanations) accompanied the video which was delivered to my email by that same night. That night, this company produced a defense of their work and refused to give me my money back. $300; I'm not going to chase them down for the money, but needless to say, I'm not recommending them. PS: I am a retired General Contractor. I don't ask for more than what's necessary, customary, or reasonable. These guys did not produce.

The provider indicated that a plumber would be on site between 1100 am and 200 pm. The plumber arrived at 1200 pm. He performed an initial inspection of the existing water heater and pipes. After the inspection, he indicated that he would need to bring the gas line up to code and replace the flexor connections. He left the site at 100 pm and indicated that he would return in 30 mins to 45 mins because he had to pick up some supplies and the water heater. He did not return until 400 pm. During the installation, the provider indicated that he was having issues with the alignment of the pipes leading to and from the water heater. He indicated that he needed to adjust the pipes so that they would line up appropriately. In the process he had to cut and manipulate the pipes and rethread to reconnect. He again left the site at 700pm indicating that he needed to pick up more supplies and would return shortly. He did not return to the site until after 930pm. I called the provider to voice my concerns that it had taken so long to install a water heater and at this point the water heater was in complete darkness. I explained to the provider that the water heater was located on the side of the house without lighting and I was not sure how he would be able to work alone reconnecting pipes without being able to see them. I was assured that he would be able to hold a flash light and connect a gas line and water lines without assistance. Eventually, the provider sent two other plumbers to the site. The plumber finally gave up shortly before midnight and instructed us to contact the main office because he was convinced now that a pipe was now leaking in the wall and the wall would need to be torn out and the house repiped. The pipe in the wall was not leaking before he started to work on the water heater replacement. He left the site without providing a written receipt for work completed or a final sign off by me of my satisfaction of work performed. He left the hot water supply off and said that he was done because he installed the water heater. This morning when I checked the water heater it was again leaking all over. I am completely dissatisfied with the level of service provided by 1800Plumbing. I have contacted the provider 3 times this morning and have not heard back from then. I have left voicemails pleading with them to return my call so that they can explain to me what went wrong; however, they have chosen to ignore my request.

Ismeal was a little late (after the window provided) but he called to let me know when he was on his way. He is a friendly guy and was very honest and shared everything he did step by step. After assessing the issue for 10mins he told me he'd try a few things and the first thing he tried worked! i didn't have to replace anything but he adjusted the valve and instructed me on how to do it in the future. while he helped me out in the short term, it will be something i know i can adjust in the future too! Ismeal was great.

My water main that goes from the street to the house had to be replaced. I called 2 other plumbing companies. One did not even bother to return my call until 5 hours later and another one tried to rip me off on price. I called this company at 7pm at night and they returned my call within 10 minutes. They set my appointment the next day at 11am for a free estimate. They came right on time. Joseph was extremely knowledgeable and even called his supervisor so they could put their heads together to figure out how to do the job for the least amount of cost to me. They used this trenchless technology so they did not have to dig up my entire yard. Once the price was agreed to I was expecting at least a few days to start. I asked them when they could start and Joseph said "right now". The digging was minimal and the job was completed by the end of the next day. They took care of everything from the pulling of the permit to the inspection by the county. After the installation was complete and the inspection was done they filled the hole they dug up with fresh cement and the hole in front of my house with fresh stucco. Everyone was a true professional who worked on this job. I cannot be happier and I would give all the people on Joseph's team who worked on this job my highest recommendation. A special thank you to Tony who stayed until 9pm in the cold the first night breaking cement and digging a hole in my yard so the job could be completed the next day. My water pressure is twice as much as it used to be. If I ever need anything plumbing related I will call them again.

Ricardo came by to check out toilets, sinks, showers and baths in a loft my company rented out. He pointed all the necessary repairs for the time we stayed there. He also pointed out issues that could possibly come out in the near future,as well if issues weren't addressed. He went above and beyond when he was available and if a part was needed, he got back to me in a timely manner. I highly recommend that everyone use this company.

First attempt at service had to be curtailed because they couldn't turn the water off at the street because the street valve was defective. When they looked at the valve at the house, they were reluctant to try it because of it's age. They returned another day after the water company had replaced the street valve and replaced the leaky spigots quickly. I appreciated that they were cautious about harming a valve that could have resulted in a lot more expense for me. They did not charge for the second visit. I used them because of a package offered and I would use them again.

Fast appointment. No dirt after water run. Looked under house from crawl space, confirmed no leaks in copper piping. Joseph was great. Said dirt possibly from major city leak weeks before. Problem I have is after several requests I never received an invoice. Was the entire $200 used in this service?? I guess so!! I don't do business without receipts.

Out standing. Ricardo was wonderful with his customer service and personable manner along with his expertise in plumbing. Our sink was old and the crawl space below was small which required some serious effort to remove very stubborn connectors that were fused together from mineral build up. Nonetheless, Ricardo used all his skills to remove our old hardware and replace it with a new faucet that looks great. He also made some suggestions, upon our request, to enhance our home's water pressure and some future projects to consider in the near future. We are happy campers! Leyla and Charles (Lakewood, Ca.)

Not so good, made a appointment and was late having tried different appointment dates. Two guys came out to look at the job, tried to avoid doing the job. He wanted to replaced the old iron pipe to cost above $950 and that was much more than what was advertised.

My experience with Rooter and Plumbing Masters has been amazing. They are very reliable and professional. Their technician Ishmael was very thorough and knowledgeable. I was helped with scheduling by a woman named Lynn who was so fast and efficient and really on top of things. This made my experience that much better. After receiving my jetting service I was made aware of the situation and conditions of my plumbing. Needless to say, they were not pushy, instead my technician explained the situation and said they would email me an estimate for future repairs. The cherry on top was when I received a follow up call from Lynn in the customer service department to confirm that I had a great experience. I am beyond satisfied and look forward to giving you more business in the future.

The representative was on time, professional, and informative of what he was doing and what my options were. He did not rush and finished the work in about 4 hours. This included creating a clean out that was not originally planned but was reasonably priced and he was able to do it that day.

All four of our restrooms were clogged late evening July 4th. We  called several plumbers, none were available and two  plumbers failed to show up after confirming.  We decided to try  1800Plumbing, they were able to resolve our plumbing issues in an affordable and timely manner considering the circumstances.  Before arriving the plumber gave us updates on his status. On arrival, he was extremely courteous and  knowledgeable. He quickly assested the plumbing issues and unclogged the homes sewer line. After, he used his camera in the sewer line and  noticed the pipe was half clay and filled with roots. Which was suprising to us since we replaced the line about 5 years ago by a differet plumber. Overall we were extreamly happy with the service and quality of work provided by 1800Plumbing. Highly recommeded.

Excellent service all the way around. They were able to schedule me for a weekend (which is always a huge help for me). They arrived on time and completed the work quickly and efficiently. After the service was complete, they stuck around and answered all my questions not only about by tankless unit but other plumbing related questions as well (we just moved into the home). Several days later, I received a follow up call from their customer service department as a follow up to see if I was happy with everything (another huge plus in my book). The cost for the service was very reasonable and I'm very happy with the work done.
