Rosmel Pool, did an excellent job building the pool in my backyard, yes, they deserve 5 stars or more for sure. The process was very easy, the salesman Roberto came home and gave us the estimate, we have had another 6 estimates from other companies and we decided go with Rosmel Pool(not the cheapest one, not the more expensive, just reasonable and competitive price, plus a lot of reference we had from friends about this company), the drawings with the architect and City Permit process took a few weeks and after completion of the legal process they started with de demolition of my Patio concrete and dug the hole(same day), my pool is a L-shape (30x11x17) with spa included, color LED lights and saltwater chlorinator. Pepe was our first stages supervisor always paying attention to all the details, Thank you Pepe, in the second part of the construction Boris was our supervisor, we want to thank Boris a lot, very knowledge about the construction process, extremely polite and 5 stars in customer service, Boris always heard us as well as the owner Marcos whom we never met but we did talk but phone, very nice person and always paying attention to us as clients, Thank you Marcos and Boris. We want to express our gratitude to Luz, I called her the “brain of the office”, Luz always talk to you, if busy at the time you call she will return your call asap, and she always takes action if you have any question/concern, thank you Luz..The workers in the field are extremely skilled, they always clean the job site without leaving any mess, thanks a lot to Jorge, Alberto and son, they did a great job in my pool placing the coping and tiles, thanks a lot. The construction process last 8 weeks...yes...in 8 weeks my family was swimming in the pool.My backyard entrance is kind of small so they had to take in and out all the equipment through it without damaging my property. We passed all the city inspections and they are now in the process of closing my pool city permit. Rosmel Pool provided my pool first month startup maintenance for free (included in our contract) and even they dropped in my backyard 10 sacs of salt for starting the saltwater at the end of the 4h week and startup the saltwater chlorinator at the end of the 4th week(because they said the salt can no be added during the first month for protecting the pool plaster), Rosmel Pool even brought me a free pool pole with a net and a brush (as a courtesy for their clients). I will attach pictures of my pool already done, We highly recommend this company for any pool project, very skilled workers, never let you down, they always talked to you, they always heard you, never fight with you, very attentive to every detail, bringing building supplies to your patio without stopping, Im usually a person who doesn’t write many reviews but in this case not only me but my whole family think and felt we needed to tell everybody our great/excellent/outstanding experience with this company because a pool is a big project for any homeowner and for sure stressful but Rosmel Pool made this project came true from a dream and never was a nightmare. We want to thank too all the office’s staff: Doris, Lilly and I spoke with another gentleman sometimes but not remember the name. Rosmel was incredible, start to finish. We had a very challenging install - cantilevered concrete coping seamlessly integrated into a wraparound patio. We also had a very tight space to work in - barely 6 feet of clearance to get the excavator into the patio area. And we used River Rok without any water line tile - all the way up to the concrete coping. And one edge of the pool is three feet from the wall of my garage. He also raised the level of the pool patio area by a foot as well. Rosmel - and Marcos Martinez - not only met, but exceeded our expectations. As a GC, I have pretty high expectations and that is not a simple thing to do. They were on time and on budget with a very high level of quality. They weren't the cheapest, but they were worth every penny. I highly recommend Marcos and his team at Rosmel for any pool project.

****UPDATE**** I felt the need to add this update because now that I have had the pool for a year and a half, I am still amazed at the level of customer service that Rosmel provides its customers - even long after the project has been completed. As novice pool owners,you tend to have a lot of questions that fist year and Rosmel, in their signature "We are there for you" customer service, was there for us every step of the way. As always, e-mails and telephone calls were answered in 24 hours or less and any problems were FIXED immediately. Just a few examples... 1. Our pool filter resulted to be a bit too small for our pool (we have a larger pump because of our waterfalls) and Rosmell replaced it right away. We weren't even home. One day I got home and BAM! There it was. It has been smooth sailing with a crystal clear pool every since. 2. Like I said, we are novice pool owners and a few weeks ago were a bit alarmed at how much water we were losing. We thought we might have a leak. Rosmel was at our place the NEXT DAY. No leak! Regular evaporation rates. Yeah! 3. Our pool timer went to meet it's maker last week - dead as a door nail. We sent them an email on Sunday morning. I clearly was not expecting to hear back from them on a Sunday but I wanted to give them a heads up. By 3 pm the next day, our timer had been replaced. Unbelievable. 4. Our pool lights for some reason were out of sync. I e-mailed them, within about 20 minutes the owner himself responded and walked me through a few steps to reset them. Bam! My pool no longer looks like a psychedelic acid trip. I knew Rosmel was a great company when I hired them because I had done my research, but they continue to astound me. It is rare to find a company that AFTER the fact, still seems so invested in their customers. They truly stand behind their work and they take a lot of pride in what they do. When you consider building a pool, please also consider life AFTER the pool has been built. Things will happen, it's inevitable, but with Rosmel you can rest assured that it will be ok. You can't put a price-tag on that.

Customer service was exceptional. Was not the lowest price but sub contractors were professional and on time. Got a 17x28 pool with 5x10 wading area, 850 sq ft of travertine deck. A waterfall and 2 jets. 2 speed pump. Multi color LEDs. Total cost approx $32k. They would have finished pool in 6 weeks if not for rain. Very good quality and finish. Would recommend and use them again.

From day one Rosmel Pools demonstrated excellent customer service. They contacted us immediately to scheduled an appointment for an estimate and kept in touch with us while we shopped around. Finally, after several months of estimates from other pool companies, we deciding on Rosmel pools. The reason for our decision to hire them was their amazing customer service; from their sales representative to their office staff. We never had a complaint with the workmanship. They passed all inspections on the first visit from the inspectors. The worksite was always left clean after they where done for the day. If we had a concern they were very quick to call or come to the house to see how they could resolve the problem. Rosmel finished our pool in two months from groundbreaking to completion. Best contractor we have ever hired!

Every single individual in this company treat you extremely professionally, the owner, Mr Marcos, has a problem solver mentality. Any issue that arrived during the building was taking care on time and Pool was built in record time.

It took us months to finally make the decision to get an in-ground pool. I cannot tell you how many horror stories we had heard – everything from projects that took between 6 to 8 months to complete (way more than the promised completion time) to huge holes left in the ground with the company nowhere to be found. A pool is a HUGE investment and we were afraid – very afraid. We did our homework and interviewed several companies. We only spoke to companies that seemed reputable and had high ratings on various sites (Angie’s List, BBB, etc..). Some companies didn’t even come out for an estimate and just asked for our survey to be sent to them. While I understand that it can be done this way, we just couldn’t do it. We needed to meet the people that we would be entrusting with over $30,000 and our entire front and backyard. Other companies scoffed when we told them the size of the pool we wanted. We have a small yard and I guess for some companies, it isn’t even worth their time. Finally, we find Rosmel Pools & Outdoors through Angie’s List. I called to make an appointment and surprise – they were actually WILLING to come to our home (in our case, on several occasions). Robert, the sales person, came and sat with us for an extensive amount of time. He was incredibly patient in answering all of our questions (we had 2 pages full) and walked the yard with us and gave us some great ideas. We met with him several times for design purposes and other issues even BEFORE signing the contract. Robert answered every text message or email almost instantly – we knew we were going to be in good hands with this company. Once we decided this was the kind of company we wanted to work with, we asked to meet with the owner, Marcos Martinez. That was the cherry on top that sealed the deal. Marcos is incredibly knowledgeable and personable. He listens to your concerns and he works with you. We had major concerns about flooding in our yard as we had a drainage problem, and Marcos listened to our ideas and incorporated them with his expertise. We couldn’t have been more impressed so we signed on the dotted line. Rosmel wasn’t the cheapest, but they weren’t the most expensive either. They are the people that are going to give you your money’s worth and then some. I can tell you one thing is for sure – you can’t put a price tag on peace of mind and that was exactly what we got with Rosmel. A few weeks after signing, we broke ground. And exactly 2 months to the DAY we passed our final inspection and are enjoying our pool. UNBELIEVBLE! The process was as painless as something this involved and large can be, and that was due to the quality of the people that work at, and for, Rosmel. Their customer service exceeded all of our expectations. Marcos, the owner, was always available to answer questions, as was Robert. Luz, the person in charge of scheduling and permits was amazing. She answered every call, text, and e-mail as soon as she could and always had an answer. This was really important to us as we had never done anything like this and had our trepidations (along with a million and one questions). They are great at keeping you abreast of everything. Pepe was our project manager and made sure everything was going well and as planned. The workers were wonderful. They showed up early and worked all day long to get the job done. They were friendly and very professional. Walter, from Untied Electrical Service, did our electrical work. He was fantastic! It wasn’t an easy job (awkward location of electrical box vs backyard, etc…) but he made it work and it looks great. Teresa who made the initial “shape” of our pool was wonderful and she explained to me the entire process (I was fascinated and kept asking questions). Every single worker, without exception, was a pleasure to work with. Rosmel knows how to sub contract – they realize these people represent their company and they make sure to only get the very best. I recommend Rosmel to anyone wanting a seamless, flawless experience with a wonderful group of people that will never make you regret a single penny. This was the best money we have ever spent and if we ever have to do any outdoor project again, it will be with Rosmel. If you are wondering what we had done, it was as follows: 8.5 x 21.5 in ground pool with a tanning ledge. Two sheer descent waterfalls and 2 Led lights. Salt water system, electrical upgrade, french drains, and travertine pavers throughout. All this was done in a very tiny yard. They literally made our dream come true. We never thought something this fabulous could be done in such a small space but they proved us wrong. Our backyard has been transformed and we would like to thank Rosmel Pools from the bottom of our hearts – we are happy to be part of the Rosmel family.

In the big picture, the pool installation was fine and we have a lovely pool. The problems started after the completion of the pool. First problem: in the first month of use a brownish film developed on the sides of the pool. It was still being serviced by Rosmel. The have a subcontractor, Jorge, who comes weekly to take care of the pool for the first month. First he said he couldn't see the brown areas, so I sent photos to Marcos, the owner. Then Jorge worked weekly to get rid of the brown. It lessened but really didn't go away. We hassled about it for weeks, maybe months. Jorge had no way to fix it. Marcos was very responsive and we finally agreed that we would have to empty the pool and scrub the brown off BUT then I hired my own pool company for maintenance and they got rid of it with stabilizers and treatment. No need to empty the pool and scrub. Marcos was great and agreeable but his subcontractor was not capable of fixing this. Thankfully, I found a pool maintenance company that knew what to do right away. Why didn't Jorge know about pool stabilizer with salt pools? Second problem and this was major . They finished the pool the end of October-November 2015 (except for the brown film problem.) In March the pavers of the decking that they had installed around the pool started to collapse into the ground. A few had come lose in November which Marcos sent someone to fix. Now, in March this was not just a few but 15 feet along one side of the pool and 12 feet along the other side. When you looked between the sunken pavers there was an empty space almost 4 feet deep that they had not filled in properly to support the deck pavers on top. Now they were all collapsing into the void. It was a disaster and we're lucky no one stepped on one and fell into the hole before we knew of this lack of support for the decking. Marcos was very responsive and sent the subcontractor, Dany's Fast Flooring, out to fix it but it took many photos sent to Marcos and many days of their working to fill in the cavern with sand and whatever they use and then to replace the pavers. There is no excuse for this terrible workmanship and Marcos has to hire better subcontractors and check their work better. Do not hire this company unless Marcos has different people and better quality control.

<p>Very Pleased with Marco's, the owner. His attention to detail was excellent. My only issue,  we would have spent more time in pre selection of the pool tile, prior to signing the contract. We signed our paperwork on 06/01/2015. We were impressed with their presentation, reviews on Angies List, and their clean record on the BBB. They filed all the permits with Miami Dade County in a respectable amount of time. The pool took approx 3 months to complete which is excellent compared to all the horror stories I hear. There was a leak at completion but a technician came out, located the leak and was repaired. Overall, I am very happy with the process and would recommend Rosmel Pools for your new pool construction. Overall we had a good experience and are satisfied with the services provdied by Rosmel. <br /> Marcos, the owner is very professional and always try to help and accommodate (especially in regards to the permits as we experienced some miscommunications with the city). <br /> We were particularly happy with the company that did the decking (travertine): Danny Fast Flooring. They were fast and Danny's team works hard and well. We actually called them back to add more deck and performed an outstanding job. <br /> If we had to build a pool again, we would call Rosmel. <br /> <br />

The whole process could not be easier. After doing a lot of research and speaking to many pool construction companies, I decided to go with them. I signed the contract and after that they finished every single step right on time. Never had to worry about a thing. they never gave me a headache. I couldn't be happier. They are very friendly, most importantly very honest people. Whenever I needed a service for my house, re.construction etc. I still call them if their can do it, sometimes they can't as they are not licensed for everything :) then I ask who they would recommend, (Marcos - the owner)  because he is are such trustworthy person that I know he would not recommend someone bad. If I am not wrong he told me he would finish the whole project in 6 weeks - which was normal for my project -  and he ended up finishing it 1 or 2 weeks earlier. <br /> If i move one day  and want to have a pool, for brand new or reconstruction, anything related to a pool, I will dial only one number. They did a great job. The supervisor, Willy, was really nice and very organized.  The owner Marcos was nice enough to change some things last minute for me.  It took 4 months total which isn't bad considering a house down my street started building theirs with Gray Dolphin pools before we did and they still aren't done. The pool looks awesome and everything was done in a very clean, organized manner.  I highly recommend since they are way more  reasonably priced than Essig Pools and some other companies that gave me higher quotes and would not have done the same great job. <br />

The owner of this business is Marcos Martinez and he is a true professional.  I had attempted to go thru the process of finding a pool builder on my own and it was this process that drove me to Angie's List.  I met with Custom Pools, Genie, Essig and some others.  Just like anything else, you can spend a little on building a new pool or a lot.  I chose Rosmel because his price was fair (not the highest nor lowest).  I had recommendations for other pool builders from friends, etc but I ended up choosing Marcos based solely on meeting him through Angies List and sitting and talking to him.  His company acts like a General Contractor, I think, in that they sub out a lot of the work, but Marcos or one of his colleagues were on site nearly every day watching.  Marcos' daughters are involved with the business and very helpful as well.  Marcos helped us with deisgn features as we were unsure of what we exactly wanted.  From start to finish, Marcos was great.  He knows when to listen and then offer his advice when needed.   I would highly recommend him for any pool building need you would have. <br /> enjoy, <br /> Kevin Testa <br /> <br />

It took only 2 months from the dig, to final inspection. There were no surprises and no problems. We had a good experience with the electrician and the tile installers; they were accommodating and easy to work with. Willie was one of our supervisors. He is very knowledgable and came to the house several times when we had questions. Marcos, the owner, is very professional and has a calm demeanor which I appreciated because any construction can be stressful.

It went well. They did the work they work they said they do, and did it well. They also followed up with their subcontractor as well.
