Rossbach Construction has done many projects for us in the past. We do get competing bids for each project. Rossbach always is right in line with their prices and my wife and I feel that the quality of their work is always top notch. Never had a problem with previous work done. Work they have done for us in the past includes: Our lower deck and three season room addition to our house, Rossbachs built our new automotive shop from the vacant lot we purchased all the way to the end when we turned the key in the door to open our new place. Never had a problem. Great group of guys. <br />

Our old house has suffered through several additions and consequently walls and floors are not level or plumb. The Rossbach team did an outstanding job of understanding what we wanted and the quality of their work is second to none! They also had no problem letting us do some of the work, like the demo and the wall finishing. We would definitely use them again!

All work performed was high quality.  Good interaction with Don Hruby, the business manager, and Will Rossbach, the project manager/carpenter.  We had Rossbach Construction design and build a new island to match our current kitchen cabinets.  When we first received the new island we determined that the roll-out drawers in the lower section were not deep enough.  Rossbach Construction had new deeper drawers made at no extra cost to us. <br />

Rossbach was excellent to work with every step of the way!  The design and estimate were arranged promptly and then reviewed with us in detail to verify and make any corrections.  Prices were fair for the level of quality we wanted, and we were given lots of choices about materials, price levels, etc. The work went fairly close to schedule and subcontractors were all very good.  Great attention to quality and detail and the final results exceeded our expectations.  They were also very responsive to our extra requests while the project was underway and worked very hard to exceed our expectations.  Ron Rossbach did fabulous work not only in the construction he did himself, but also in supervising the rest of the subcontractors involved.  All crews worked very neatly and always left our house in good shape at the end of the day when we returned home.  Great job in matching wood work, lighting, etc.  Most importantly, communications was excellent throughout the project -- we were always kept informed of what was happening, any problems that came up, timelines, etc.  What is nice about this company is that they provide high quality workmanship but are not so big that they don't have time to pay attention to communication and the project details.  When the project was done, they even swept out our garage and re-set some mousetraps in some of the basement areas they had accessed! <br />

They did an excellent job. We were new at this and they were very tolerant of questions, concerns, change-orders. They were also willing to work with us for items we wanted to work on ourselves (e.g. staining of trim, installation of purchased sink, etc).   The groups they brought in through contract were respectable and also did an excellent job. <br /> The kitchen is beautiful with new lighting, appliances, exhaust system, custom cherry cabinets and hardwood floors. Everyone who sees it agrees that it is a complete transformation.   The bath is fully tiled with bathtub and shower. <br />

We have used Rossbach previously for a bathroom remodel plus a couple of smaller jobs.  For this job they tore out the entire kitchen including the lathe and plaster walls.  They put in a pocket door and also replaced another interior door.  They replaced a kitchen window with a larger window including a transom, also replacing the exterior siding on that side of the house and an exterior door.  Our house is over 100 years old and they had to deal with the removal of lead paint and all of the complications involved with that.  They installed all new cabinetry, floor, all appliances, ceiling, all lighting and sink.  They are very knowledgable and very capable of all of the different kind of work our job needed.  They used good and polite sub-contractors.  They were very accommodating with late design changes (with change order costs of course), they cleaned up every night and were very responsive to my calls and messages.  We expected very high quality material and service and we got it.  We had one problem with an incorrect paint color which turned out to be the fault of the paint company.  Rossbach absorbed the additional cost without asking us to pay.   <br /> We had three bids on this job.  Rossbach's bid came in quite a bit less than a competing kitchen remodel company and just a tad more than another much smaller company.  We also appreciated that they didn't mind our dogs and in fact released them from their crates (with our permission) when possible.  We get rave compliments on our kitchen and will likely use Rossbach again. <br />

It went well. 

Went extremely well we even gave them open access to our house whnetraveling to finish work. Very trustworthy group.

Will Rossbach and Don Hruby of Rossbach Construction did an excellent quality job in planning and implementing the replacement of our twenty-year-old front entry door/sidelights with a new Pella entry door/sidelights. This job involved not only required installing the new Pella door/sidelights but also staining and painting trim pieces surrounding the door, all of which were matched perfectly to the existing trim. The installation of the new Pella door/sidelights is so perfect that it looks like it was installed during our home s original construction. Both Will and Don are very quality and detail oriented and highly professional. Moreover, the high degree of pride they take in their work is very readily apparent in both their detailed planning for our project and the EXCELLENT quality of their finished product. We are so pleased with Rossbach Construction s work on this project that we have already hired Rossbach for a second project on our home!

They were very friendly when they were there working for us. They were very professional about the job. They had showed up on time to do the work. They had cleaned up everything when they were finished.

Very well. We liked the design and found the carpenters and electrician to be very skilled. All of the work was fairly well coordinated and the job was pretty much completed by 10 weeks, which we were told to expect. There were a few smaller issues that took a few requests to get addressed after that. Communication was part of the day to day challenge, and when we had questions or requests, it was a little confusing as to who to contact. This was our first remodel and if I were to do it again I think that I would appreciate more daily supervision. When the wall guys were here, there were problems that came up that had to be dealt with through the supervisor over the phone. Also, the floor company did not finish the perimeter of the room and we had to complete that ourselves. All in all, we found the workers to be experienced, just not supervised very well. The carpenters excluded, because they were great and did a fantastic job.

It was a true pleasure working with Rossbach Construction throughout the process. Rich Rossback impressed us immediately when he came for the estimate. After the work started we decided to we expand the project from just the bathroom and egress window to encompass the more thorough remodelling work. We had a tight schedule, and despite the expanded scope of the project, our project superintendent, Will Rossbach did an excellent job of coordinating his staff, subcontractors, and our work to get the project done on time. Will came to the house almost every morning to make sure that his workers and subcontractors understood their tasks and to confer with us about progress, questions, difficulties, and plans for the next few days. Everyone we encountered exhibited respect and professionalism, and many of the people were quite personable as well. We highly recommend Rossbach Construction.

A detailed estimate was made based on a very thorough and detailed initial appointment to make sure everything was spelled out for us. The project took a little longer than described (4 weeks versus 3 weeks). Quality of workmanship was excellent and beyond our expectations (especially Dave, the main project foreman). They worked to accommodate our part of the project (we did all the pre-staining of the materials). The price seemed a bit high, but we see that it was worth it. Communication during construction started out below our expectations, but once we asked to be more involved in the details and process, everything worked very well. The roofers (aside from lunch being discarded in the garden) did a wonderful job. The leaf-guard people were also wonderful to work with. We really love the look and feel of our new three season porch. We can't wait for spring.

WE WERE INCREDIBLY PLEASED WITH THIS COMPANY! THEY WERE NICE, KNOWLEDGEABLE AND SPENT TIME EXPLAINING CAREFULLY EACH STEP THEY WERE DOING AND WHY. IT WAS A VERY HARD JOB. THEY HAD TO PULL A 10 FOOT BAY WINDOW APART TO FIX THE PROBLEM. I HAVE NEVER BEEN SO IMPRESSED WITH A COMPANY IN MY WHOLE LIFE!
