Recently had a very bad experience with this company. The HVAC technician messed up our routine fall maintenance so that we had no functioning furnace during the coldest part of winter. The next tech compounded the problem twice. We had NO heat for almost 2 weeks and below freezing temps outside. Indoor temp never got above 40 degrees. We were in SoCal when a pipe burst. Now they say it isn't their fault. REALLY? This company has gone down the s...hole. Stay as far away from them as possible.

Far exceeded my expectations. Not only was Gary very knowledgeable, but he made sure to walk me through everything he was doing and helped me understand my HVAC. Very professional and didn't force anything on me.

AC/Heat Pump was not running. Bowdy from Ponderosa Heating came out the same day and had our unit back up and running in minutes. He also gave our entire Furnace and AC a courtesy inspection to make sure everything was working properly. If you are in need of fast, friendly and professional help I would definitely recommend Ponderosa and ask for Bowdy if you’re in the central OR area

Early April signed up for service club membership for a rental I have, "to include 2 visits per year". They did the initial visit a week later but charged me $318. Bottom line: they do 2 visits per year as part of the service club...BUT NOT THIS ONE. Classic bait and switch. Dispute is ongoing. Last year they did a routine seasonal visit. Knocked something loose in the heat pump. No HVAC for a week while it took them 2 visits to figure out what they did. Had a new system installed about 1 year ago. Asked the guy to describe how the gas furnace and heat pump worked together. What he described was not what I observed. 2 visits later, he called the manufacturer to find out I was correct and he was wrong. Doesn't even know how his product works? 3 strikes, they are out.

Brett installed a WiFi thermostat in our vacation home. We were not able to be on-site but he did a great job walking us through everything over the phone so we could get set up seamlessly and easily. He was very nice over the phone and he also did a quick check of our old furnace while he was there and gave us some good, honest feedback about it. We really appreciate the great customer service and how he went the extra mile to help us. Thank you! Andy quickly detected the problem with our leaking bathtub and fixed the problem. Also appreciated he checked the water pressure and discovered the root issues. Appreciate that he was able to come out so quickly as well when others were scheduling me days out. Thanks!

Larry was great. He made the replacement quickly and was able to help me get the wifi set up on my phone and computer. He was also quite knowledgeable about the different kinds of this type of thermostat and was able to guide me to the best solution for my needs. He took plenty of time to explain everything and answer all of my questions about the thermostat and my heating/cooking system. Great to work with him.

Very professional install team of technicians. My main contact was Cole and he is very prompt in answering all my questions and concerns. On time in all the appointments before installation and was helpful in recommending a local business for a non HVAC issue I needed assistance with. I know that Lennox is a quality product and I'm very pleased so far. Tom and another technician(apologize for forgetting his name) were both friendly and professional during the installation. I've had the new furnace for about a month now and notice a huge difference in the comfort of my home. The new thermostat allows me to set different temperatures for every day of the week at different times if needed, and very easy to program. I can barely hear the furnace when it's on and, it has kept my house nice and cozy during this very cold winter!

During the entire several months while Lennox tried to figure out why there was a performance issue with the system, Ponderosa Heating remained positive in their comments and attitude, supporting where they could and persisting in pushing the manufacturer for a solution. Their communication with the homeowner was excellent, professional and understandable; feedback loops were exceptional. They were forthright in naming problems encountered during this heating "remodel", efficient in the time spent at the site, and very attentive to keeping the home and site clean of debris and dust, particularly when working with the duct system. They only rarely were not able to have someone present when scheduled. Despite cost overruns caused by the duct system and the manufacturer's problems with the equipment, they honored their estimated costs. I would not hesitate to recommend them to others for consideration; nor would I hesitate to use them again.
