My husband and I purchased a home with a substantial amount of limestone tile flooring, and upon moving in realized that there was a cat urine smell coming from the floors. Roth came out immediately to give us an estimate, then within days had a crew at the house. The process took several days, and because they had to work around other contractors they finished it on a weekend day when they would not normally have been working. The results are better than we could have hoped. Immaculate floors, no smell, and the floors look beautiful! The crew was diligent and polite, cleaned up their equipment each day, and again, were good enough to come back on a weekend day to get it done. Galen Roth also gave us helpful advice concerning a marble shower problem, and even did the regrouting of the shower himself so that we might use it. He is a true professional, very knowledgable, and took our problems with the house to heart and made sure that they were addressed quickly and with great results. We expect to call on this company again soon for marble polishing and any other stone or tile needs that may come up. <br />

Most objection was that price quoted was much lower than price charged ($00 vs and gt; 1000 actual). I should have gotten a written quote for the job. He informed me that he could not protect the base molding and indeed it was damaged and I had to redo all. However, damage was also done to carpet on stair and adjacent wood floor. Overall, I felt overcharged for the job and I even ended up doing the finish coat that was part of his original quote, at my expense and time. <br />

We agreed to the written quote with a start date of Friday 7/19/2013 at 9:30am. He and his crew arrived at the agreed time and started work on the floors. The process is a step function with each procedure followed to get the dirt, oil and stains out of the floor and open up any holes followed by filling (optional) the holes particularly in the kitchen ending with a sealer to lock in the true colors and keep the floor clean. <br /> <br /> Galen has over thirty years in the tile and floor business and knows what can be done to clean tile, stone and other nature materials on floors, walls and ceilings. This is what he does for a living and he knows what he is doing. He seems to like the challenges he faces with natural materials. The only issue we had was one of his employees hit our gate backing out/in our driveway. He agreed to fix but it took a while to find someone who would fix the gate without cutting the main support section as the gate is over one hundred years old. We cut the gate crosses in a small section and then used a hydraulic jack to very slowly push the bent section back into place, the cross sections now need to be spot welded with the gate in place. It would cost $200 to fix.
