Nightmare, don't wish this on anyone, not even my worse enemy. I would highly recommend this customer. I have had a great experience with them. My fence looks great that they installed & the pricing is awesome. I would definitely use them again if need be.

Horrible fencing experience. Highly NOT recommended. What a fencing nightmare! Needed urgent fencing to be put up by 4/26/20. After search on Angie’s List and HomeAdvisor site, Eric Inscore with Rough Cut Landscaping and Fencing contacted me. On 4/21/20 I signed a contract with Eric Inscore, co-owner of Rough Cut Landscaping and Fencing and prepaid ~75% upfront money in cash as required. After payment, communication almost ceased. Multiple delays and cancellations without prior communication. The fence was put up on 5/8/20. However, there were multiple mistakes. Craftsmanship & attention to detail were substandard ( non-functioning gates, one gate nailed to the post, one gate opens 10 degrees instead of 90 degrees and will not close completely) multiple exposed nails and damage wood from installation, inappropriate use of too forceful nailgun led to damage to every picket, inconsistent and significant large gaps in fencing, multiple cracked pickets and posts, multiple overcut scallops, part of fencing was several inches above the ground, every hinge installed incorrectly, multiple nails left scattered around work site .) When asked to fix these issues, Eric came on 5/9/20 and took care of some of the mistakes but not all and the gate still does not open fully after he scraped the dirt off underneath the gate to allow for clearance. Owners blamed the apprentice for the poor workmanship and do not take ownership of the work. Then demanded final payment around 10pm that night prior to a walkthrough. We asked for walk through on 5/10/20 but instead we were contacted by his lawyer that morning who demanded payment in full. Later that same day, his lawyer sent a third party to inspect the fence and to render an opinion of what needs to be corrected. Basically, the consultant concurred that multiple posts need to be replaced, both gates need to be rebuilt to functioning standard, gate hardware need to be replaced, exposed nails need to be removed, and all pickets need to be taken down and replaced to correct multiple mistakes. On 5/14/20, Eric’s lawyer updated us that Eric agreed to make these corrections on 5/16/20 at 9am. Once again, Eric did not show up. Instead, the same fence inspector was sent to deliver the message. Eric went back on his word, offered minimal repairs to be done by the fencing inspector and, again, demanded the full payment now. This is only 6 days after Eric claimed the fencing was completed. I now have to hire another contractor to correct his errors. The entire process was stressful and challenging. I had to pray daily that Eric would show up to get the fencing done after he went away with a large amount of cash. But when the fencing was finally up, only to find out that the craftmanship and attention to detail were substandard. Now I am being threatened with a lien on my house and by a lawsuit, these all started one days after Eric stated he completed the job. No home owner should have to go through what I am going through. Supporting local small businesses has now become discouraging. Additionally, Rough Cut Landscaping and Fencing would not provide a One-year warranty in writing to detail specifically what is covered and is agreed upon before work begins. Initially we would like for him to correct the defects entirely and we would pay in full. However, he refused to fix the defects as outlined by the 3rd party consultant and his lawyer. As is, I would need to hire another contractor to correct his errors, which will cost more than what we owe him currently. Better Business Bureau has be involved and they have contacted Rough Cut Landscaping and Fencing as well.

They did an amazing job and had great customer service! I am so pleased with how my fence turned out, it was done in such a timely manner and it looks amazing!

It was very good. They are personable, very nice, on time, communication was good, and they gave me a fair price.
