Dean and Sack came from Rowan to help investigate some rusting occurring in my HVAC system. They were professional and extremely thorough and ended up helping with several other HVAC questions/concerns I had while they were there. Look forward to using them again in the future!

They are very nice and I like them. They're a mom and pop operation. I dealt mostly with the dad, but I've had the son and another tech out as well. I've used their services several times and I will most likely be using them to replace my AC unit.

Even from the time of the call for service their employee was providing recommendations on what I could do myself to get the system working, even if it meant that the service call could be canceled. I tried their recommendations and it still did not work. The cost of the service call and of the technician's time was clearly defined on the web site and on the phone call. The technician called ahead of the scheduled appointment to let me know he was on his way. He worked fast, explained what he was doing, found the problem and solved it right away with parts that he had in the truck. I had used Rowan many years ago, and tried other companies since, but did not find the others as satisfactory. I returned to Rowan and felt that I can trust this company's experience and expertise. A family owned company, the customer service is very friendly and professional.

They quickly traced it to some bad wiring in the external fan unit and were able to replace the wires and add some shielding to prevent it from happening in the future.

They are excellent. I have a service plan for fall and spring for two hundred and fifteen dollars, If you have an emergency then you are a priority. They are very responsive. They always call before they come out.they are always helpful and friendly. one time, i had a bird in my furnace and they guy pulled it out for me. I would definitely use them again.

They were very professional and did a great job. It's a small, family-owned company so you can feel good about supporting a local business. After the installation, I had a small problem with the system, and when I called them, Russ came out the very next day and took care of the problem immediately. Overall, I was very happy with how personal and professional these guys were.

I have been hiring Jim Rowan and his team, including his son, Nick, for 20 years, since I owned my first home. We were introduced to them by the former owners of that home and we were so happy with the maintenance work they performed that we hired them to come into our DC rowhouse 8 years ago and retool the ducts in order to get better service out of them. They also installed a new compressor at that time. Our heating a cooling bills dropped by 20% after that work was done. <br /> About 2 years ago, Rowan Heating and Cooling was part of the team that did a complete overhaul to my DC rowhouse. As part of that process, Rowan zoned my heating a cooling systems and rerouted ducts to better serve all the floors my home. They were flexible with their time in order to accommodate my general contractor's schedule. My  heating and cooling bills have dropped by yet another 10% and all floors of my house are now temperate. (Anyone who has ever lived in a DC rowhouse knows how hard it is to keep all floors of such houses temperate at the same time!) <br /> I cannot say enough good things about this company. Jim Rowan is extremely knowledgeable and his wife, Theresa, who runs their office, is very helpful. Nick Rowan is following his father's footsteps and provides excellent service, as does the crew who works under him. As a company, they are prompt, courteous, competent and stand by their good work. The experience went very well! They are honest. They do not try to sell you something you don't need. I trust them.

The tech was on time, very thorough, explained everything he did and left a detailed written report. My husband was very pleased with the service. <br />

Rowan HVAC responded to my call within a couple of hours. I told the technician the symptoms and he diagnosed the probles and corrected it! Every time I call for help they respond promptly. The office staff and the technicians are friendly and competient. If repairs are needed they make them without trying to sell you something you neither want or need. I recommend them without reservation. <br />

It went extremely well, much faster than I thought it would be. They cleaned up and made sure everything was working the way I needed it to. They set up our thermostat for us and I also have a small second unit that they service as well. We have been using them for over 25 years and have had nothing but great service. I have even recommended them to family and friends, they are just great.

Everything went as planned. Russ showed up, diagnosed the problem and gave me two options. We chose to replace all the attic ductwork and go with the smaller unit. They arrived on Monday, did a Manual J and started demo. They were finished by Wednesday afternoon. Nick, George, and crew were there when they said they would be and were courteous and professional. All the work was top notch. They took very obvious pride in their work and did an excellent job. I would highly recommend this outfit to anyone I know. <br />

We have used Rowan HVAC for some time now. We like them, they usually schedule appointments quickly, and the staff seem to know what they are doing. This last time, we suddenly had a loud rattling noise in the fan. Apparently it was just a screw that had come lose. They came out the day I called them in the afternoon and fixed it. <br />

I have used Rowan heating and air for about 5 years now. I have them service my heating and air about once a year and I call them if I have any issues. Since my system is a older this is unfortunately been a couple times. <br /> There technicians are very through and luckily very honest. I always dread calling when there is an issue because I am sure this is the time that I need to finally replace the system. Each time they are very honest with me and have let me know that there is no need to replace now. One time it was just a fan out alignment that they fixed with some electric tape. I am sure some other company would have probably told me I need to replace the entire fan. <br /> I trust them and there technicians completely. When it does come time for a new system I would trust them completely to be the ones to replace it. <br /> The only bad thing I can say is there reputation must be getting around because it is now harder to get an appointment quickly because they have so much business : ) <br />

He was very polite and friendly and answered all of my questions.
