"R.O.W. Custom Enterprises apologize that Mrs. [Member Name Removed] feels that we have provided her bad service and workmanship. R.O.W. Custom has provided you on numerous occasions literatures, field tests & explanations as to why her pool chemical balance is elevated. Calcium nodules growth is due to chemical imbalanced pool water. If pool water is not balance correctly, your pool will continue to produce calcium nodules, staining, and discoloration. During onsite inspection, R.O.W. Custom Enterprises has suggested to Mrs. [Member Name Removed] that we can contact National Plaster Council to come out and do a third party unbiased inspection of your pool plaster. They are plaster experts and can give a full unbiased report of your plaster and details of maintenance, workmanship, etc. R.O.W. Custom encourages Mrs. [Member Name Removed] to contact the contractors' board. R.O.W. Custom is a member of the National Plaster Council, which is our governing body. R.O.W. Custom urges Mrs. [Member Name Removed] to have a NPC representative inspect pool plaster. Furthermore, we propose that both parties fully agree to the findings made by the National Plaster Council. We ask that both parties be present along with the inspector from the council. The fee charged by the National Plaster Council to do the onsite inspection will be paid by the party based on the findings of the report. If the report states faulty workmanship, then R.O.W. Custom Enterprises NV Inc. will pay the inspection fee and fully adhere to the findings of the report and its recommendations. If the report finds no faulty workmanship, then the homeowner agrees to pay the inspection fee and fully adhere to the findings of the report."

Algae or mold started growing within 2 weeks. Owner blamed everyone else instead of just making it right. Said start up caused it. The manager Jose is extremely rude and unprofessional. When I tried to explain what was wrong the initial time I called him he told me to shut up and cut me off That set the tone If I knew then what I want to know now I would never have hired them And they had me pay cash for A percent off.

Unanticipated and unrequested black mottling and marbling appears on the plaster just a week or two after they completed work. It's now been three years of back and forth communications and they have yet to fix the marbling issue. They have stopped out 3 to 4 times to acid wash the plaster which were temporary fixes where the marbling came back a couple weeks later. The three year warranty they gave on the original work expires this year and the issue isn't correctly resolved. I would like the issue resolved or eliminated since it was not something I requested when they did the work.

<p>the timing for the work to be done was good....the people doing the cool deck slopped paint on the rock work for the pool and we had to call to have them come back to fix that</p> <p>the refinishing of the the custom rock work was not done like the procedure when the pool was built, they basically painted with one color giving no detail we again had to have them come back to redo</p> <p>now (july) we are seeing that in the normal brushing of the pool during cleaning the paint on the rocks is coming off, I have called the company on several occasions no return call ever, they did send someone out to photograph the pool about a month ago but no contact on how to correct their work</p> <p><br /></p> <p>very disappointed in the quality of their work, the pool is almost 16 years old and the painting on the original rock work that wasn't touched basically looks like it did when it was new, the painting they did won't last a year if we're lucky</p> <br />

R O W was the only company of six called that responded with a professional, detailed quote. Several of the other five companies were highly rated within Angie's List, did not bother to visit the site, simply quoting the resurfacing. R O W altered the quote several times per my requests to customize the quote. They did not try to and quot;up-selland quot;, and proved a range of options and prices (thanks Randy!). They were able to start within the contracted start date, and a full team finished the job on time, even during the brutal summer heat. The quality of the work, both the color-flecked quartz surface and tile work, was very good. They made sure the start-up went well, even in my absence. <br /> Without R O W, I doubt this job would have gone so well, we're very please with the result and the price was a bargain given the size and condition of this pool. My last contractor had walked off the job because of the spa wall re-build - R O W saved the day. <br /> <br /> <br />

Craig was our salesperson he was great but needs to always bring a calculator. We were going to use the tiles they have in stock and add specialty for the steps but when we got to the tile place he referred we found the perfect tile to go around the whole pool. I asked if he would discount since we would provide our own tiles and he was fine with it. Our only issue with that is the person they send to collect the check did not have the paperwork with him and I told him the amount should have a 170. discount and he said to pay the full amount and the office would take care of any difference right away. I have been waiting 4 weeks and each time I call the offce either Margie or Kim said they forgot to call the main office in CA to request the check to be sent. The deck around the pool was left a little messy and has plaster and chalking on the new cool deck we just had done. Note to always have the pool done first then decking but that was done by another company a few months earlier. The process it self was really painless they were in and out so fast we couldnt believe it was already done. The pool looks beautiful and we couldnt be happier. We did a lot of shopping around and they did have the best price and Craig was very honest and upfront about everything. I think he is a good sales person no high pressure we actually had him first look at the pool in Jan and we finally decided to go ahead late March. Yes we have and will refer the company. The check reimbursement is an annoyance but Im sure Craig will take care of it. I also want to say as far as the pool resurfacing all A's across the board the lower scores for professionalism and responsiveness is due to having to chase the overpayment. <br />

Went very well, they did what they said they would do and more. I did not do a lot of comparison shopping on prices, but I did ask several other companies about turn times and no one could do what they did. I would use them again and recommend them. <br />

Not only did we use them. We got a couple of other neighbors to use them. The foreman came out. He was really helpful and very professional. They did everything they said they were going to do. They cleaned up their mess. There wasn't any mess. They just got in, did the job, and were gone. They worked with us really well. Two other couples wanted it done. I think the other couple was going to put it off, but this group also went and did. I know our neighbors in the back and they seemed to do that really quick. We didn't have any problems with them. They just told us what they were going to do and made some suggestions that were better. We had them do that and we were very satisfied. I can't remember what it cost. We had 2 or 3 other people. We thought that the price was very good and that he might have made deal because there were 2 or 3 of us.

They use sub-contractors for everything but so do all the other replastering houses. My steps into the pool came out a little wavy after they removed the outer coat of cement. They look like the worn Spanish Steps in Rome! The wife doesn't see it but I do. Finally, Bob Petronovich brought with him an unrequested guest - a contractor who bid for, won and reworked my cool decking around the pool. The cool deck contractor did a horrible job and I hold Bob responsible for the recommendation. Still the work that ROW Custom Enteprises did was good enough that visitors always comment on how nice the pool looks and I really dig the new pebble finish.
