I realize the impeller was broken and brought the replacement from Amazon for $36. Leslie charges $108 1st hour and $32 for visit. The $140 must be paid regardless if you decided to use them or not. They will have to come to look before they can tell you how much to fix. Warren called after I posted Angelist request for quote. He offered no charge for visiting and told me he is the owner of Royal Blue and like to do the service himself. He came and found besides the ring of the impeller was broken the defuser was broken too. He went to the supply store to get the defuser and made the pump work in no time. Total charge is $50 for the part and $170 for the labor. I think it is worth it. I am very handy myself and intended to do it myself initially. I am glad I hired him. He had to disconnect the pump from the filter tank and the water lines. It was not easy to disassemble the pump since it was 10 year old. Overall the pump is working better than before I had the problem. Water coming out of fountain very strong and so does the vacuuming.

They did great. They showed up on time, cleaned up their mess- I had no problems. I would use them again.
