Not so well. As a result of closing the door without allowing enough time the varnish to dry-off , the door got white paint stains from the door frame. I think they should wait at least one hour to re install the door or leave the plastic sealing off the entry after re-installing the door in order to be able to keep the door open until be dried off . I called Nick several times to get rid of these stains. He committed to come back and solve the issue but never showed up.

On March 18, 2016 they came to do the doors when they said they would and actually did a great job.  The problem came afterwards.  You have to leave the door ajar for about 30 minutes when they put the last coat of clear protectant and Nicholas went out to answer a call and closed the door.  It left a line on the door where the stripping met the wood, no big deal.  He said that he would come back out to touch it up and replace my weather stripping between the two doors, but it would have to be the beginning of April (they were supposed to replace the weather stripping at that time, but didn't bring the supplies).  Come the beginning of April I had to contact them to see when they were coming back and he said that he could be there at the end of the week, but it would cost me a trip fee of $150 because they weren't going to be on my side of town.  I asked him when he was going to be on my side because I didn't want to have to pay an extra $150, so he made an appointment for April 15th, two weeks later.  April 15th comes around and they don't show up so I called and he said that he would come out May 3rd.  On May 2nd I texted him to make sure he was coming over and he texted me back at 7:00 pm saying that they can be there at 6:45 am the next day and to confirm.  I replied an hour later confirming.  The next day he didn't show up so I texted him and asked what happened to them showing up at 6:45am?  He said that I confirmed after the office closed and they didn't get it.  The thing is he texted me from his cell phone at 7pm, so the office being closed has nothing to do with it.  He said that his office should have called me at 8am to reschedule, which they didn't.  I then asked him what the product was that they use for the clear coat and that I would just do it myself.  He texted me back the exact product to get and where to get it not even worried about customer service.  The job comes with a 5 year warranty and I bet I can forget trying to get them to come out if I have any other problem.  The funny thing is when they did the job originally they were finished before I got home and he had to come back to get paid.  He sure didn't have a problem come back then to get his money.  His lack of concern and customer satisfaction is very disappointing and I wouldn't recommend taking a chance when there are too many other services out there with better reputations.

Nick and his helper did a great job with the door. The south facing door was in bad shape just after a year from a shoddy job by a different refinishing company. They were polite and on time, explained what they were going to do and answered all my questions. It took them a lot less time than previously anticipated since there wasn't much left to strip off the door. They used a marine grade varnish which hopefully will last a lot longer than last time. The door looks great. <br />

They arrived right on time as expected, not sure if weather would cooperate but Nick had a plan and let me know exactly what they would do first and if weather interfered when they would return to complete project. The weather cooperated and job was complete in 4.5 hours. When Nick arrive immediately went to work, removed the door, tapped windows, placed plastic in door way. I was working in my yard and Nick and his helper worked efficiently and non-stopped. I was pleased with the outcome and I got a bid for additional work on other doors. <br />

Nick and his assistant arrived on time, in fact a little early.  They began work right away. My front door with leaded glass was removed. Plastic was put up to help to keep the cool inside and the bugs out. The door was sanded and washed, and the oil I had used on the wood over the years was removed with an extra wash.  The door was then stained and a protective coating was applied.   I had explained to Nick that the door would sometimes move within the frame when it was windy outside.  He was able to adjust that and now it shuts much more tightly.  We had thought we needed a new threshold, but with the weather stripping that Nick installed, we won't be needing the threshold.  There is no air getting in.   The door looks beautiful...it's just the look I was hoping for.  All of this took only 4 hours!       A 1 year return visit is included in the price too.   I couldn't be happier with the results. <br /> <br />

Nick the owner came out and provided an estimate of cost, process, materials and timing. We agreed that the work would start on a Friday and finish up Saturday. They showed up on time and finished the work earlier than planned. Each day they prepared the site well to ensure there was no splattering residue and cleaned up each day. They are very professional and courteous and worked hard. <br />
