It was okay. I felt he was too much in a hurry. I also didnt like that my steps werent included in the price of the job. I had to pay extra for them.

That turned out okay. We purchased the Big Deal and this company called within an hour to make sure that he was going to clean the carpets, but if there was anything we needed done else-wise, he was up front with us that he needed money for those services right away. I wished he would have been more customer friendly about that. I feel like he does not have an art with speaking with customers. He cleaned the carpets in 2 living rooms, an office and a dining room. He did a basic carpet cleaning. It took him about an hour. I paid an extra $50, for getting a pet stain preventive, which afterward I wished I would have not done that.

They were here several months ago, so I cannot be very specific about your inquiries. However, I do remember that they did a marvelous job with our carpets, they were respectful, on time, worked hard and did not waste any time. I will definitely use them again. Shirley Coleman

Scheduling a cleaning and doing the estimate over the phone was easy. Steve (the owner) was very nice and helpful, as we had never hired a professional to clean our carpets. I had to reschedule the appointment and that wasn't a problem. The day of the appointment, the cleaning person was nearly an hour and a half late. I was given a call about 30 min after he was due to show up letting me know he was on his way. Once he arrived, he and I looked over the carpets and I pointed out the kid/dog stains were. He was very nice and informative, giving me tips about different spot cleaners and what kinds work best. He was done steam cleaning in about an hour. The carpets looked and smelled great initially, and he got out a couple of dark spots left by my kids. The next day, one of the spots had reappeared after the carpet had dried. I called Steve and he agreed to come by and take a look. He was able to get the repeat stain out with ease, using only water and a towel. He explained why the spot reappeared and what to do in the future. I had to call him again a few days later because I could still detect some dog odors in the carpet. Steve came by again and treated the area with another product. This was a good experience and Steve was very helpful. He wasn't dismissive when I called with my concerns and was willing to come and address them. The only thing that may have been an issue was the punctuality- I work from home, so this wasn't a real problem for me. Overall, I had pleasant experience and would recommend this company to a friend. <br /> <br />

We would give Royalty a very good review based on this experience - they did what they said, when they said, for the price quoted. They seemed to be quite competent, and were careful of our furniture and woodwork. This was not a major job, but they did it well and we would use them again. <br />

I original deal was 4 rooms and hall for $85. Each set of stairs was an <br /> extra $40. and he charged $10.00 for an extra hose extension which has <br /> never been charged by other cleaners. I knew that he would not move <br /> heavy furniture but he refused to move a couple of light-weight things, a <br /> bamboo chair and a cradle unless I paid $10.00 each for them and would <br /> not let me do it so that he could clean under it and I could return to <br /> its space. Because of his attitude and the "nickel and dime to death" <br /> of extra $10.00 for each piece of furniture and $10.00 for a hose. He <br /> almost charged me for a 3rd. In the past carpet cleaners have moved <br /> sofas and heavy chests and haven't charged. They have never indicated <br /> that the distance required extra hoses. He pulls up to from door and <br /> hose comes directly inside and stairs are in front of door. Therefore, I <br /> would never again use them. <br />

"The original deal this customer purchased was at a highly discounted rate for the Angies list members. With the discount and our advertisement cost to secure the customer, there is no room to be able to extend that discounted rate for other added services this is why she was charged the full retail rate of $40 for added stairways. None of our customers are strong armed to add other rooms when we are there. This is entirely there choice and we always quote those added areas up front before we do them. We would have been happy to clean just the 4 rooms. We began to charge an additional fee of $10.00 for large homes that are more than 200 feet away from our truck because of the additional work involved just to get to the rooms needing cleaning. As for furniture moving, It was explained up front and in the deal she purchased that, because of the discounted rate, this clean only includes cleaning empty rooms or cleaning around the furniture in the room. Because of liability we cannot allow customers to walk on the carpet after it has been pre-sprayed with detergent in the middle of our cleaning process. We aim to please our customers but are also at a disadvantage not being able to see the carpet, house, or furniture at the location until we arrive. For this reason we have to spell out exactly what we do and don't do and stick to it. Sometimes the frustration of hiring a service with coupons can be much like going to a store and getting a sale item and expecting the item next to it to be on sale as well or complain that the item on sale doesn't have the bells and whistles. We wish this customer well and are sorry this experience did not meet her expectations."

I have an area that gets a lot of wear at the bottom of my steps and the first 2 or 3 steps and it didn't come as clean as I hoped it would. There was another stain in my living room that he couldn't get out as well because he wasn't sure what had caused it. I'm not sure if this was due to the quality of the cleaning or if it was an issue with the carpets but my carpets are only about 5 years old. I wasn't as pleased with their work as I hoped.

This was a terrible experience. It didn't seem as if they had done anything. The carpet wasn't wet or even seemed to have been touched. They didn't go over any corners, or go up against the wall. This carpet wasnt even remotely clean.

Company answered all my questions by email and scheduling the appointment was quick and easy. I did ask (in an email) to please have someone call me about 10 minutes before they arrived to clean the carpet so I could put my dogs up. This didn't happen. <br /> I had vacuumed and moved all furniture I need moved. After the cleaning, the carpet didn't look much better than it did before I had it cleaned, but at least the carpet wasn't overly wet. <br /> I emailed the owner of the company on Saturday (8/25/12) expressing my disappointment but haven't heard back from him. I don't know if I will. <br /> This was not worth the Angie's List special price.

The carpet cleaning went off without a hitch! They showed up a few minutes earlier than when they said that they would be there. (Sure is better than waiting for someone to show up!) <br /> This company was very professional in everything they did and the tech, Michael was very courteous and knowledgeable, and did a great job. <br /> We appreciate someone coming into the house that knows what they are doing and is easy to get along with. <br /> Royalty will be doing any carpet cleaning in the future, and suggest that if you need to have your carpets cleaned, give them a call!
