The service went very well. The technician did a wonderful job. They did exactly what the deal stated. They were polite and prompt. Scheduling was very easy and they were able to accommodate my scheduling needs.

He was professional and vey polite. <br />Showed up on time and started immediately. <br />The job was done perfect. <br />Took care of plants by covering up. <br />I would definitely use him again and recommend him to friends. <br /> <br />

We weren't that happy with the results. It was a few years ago, and the surface is still pretty much intact. He had to use a primer and deck paint, rather than stain, and the primer showed through in several places as bright white marks against the dark brown stain. He left the extra paint so we could refinish where we wanted. We don't want or expect any follow up at this time. I understand that the deck needed a lot more work than the worker expected. So, my experience may not be a fair representation of this particular contractor. <br />

It went well, they did a great job.  While the size they have listed is legitimate, the square footage offered for the deal is smaller than most decks. The extra cost to finish the deck wasn’t exorbitant.

Showed up on time and did the job well. Asked questions about specifics and pointed out a few trouble spots. Good expereince and result. Purchased the survice on a "Big Deal" so the price was right. <br />

I called them for WEEKS before I got someone to return a call after multiple calls and being on hold etc; by then it was tough to get something scheduled in a time frame that worked before I was going to be renting out my house.  I couldn't be there the day they were there, so I left a note with paint -- Note #1 - call me so we can discuss the job.  They never called.  I was afraid I would get home and nothing would be done because nobody had called.  Instead I got home, and it looked TERRIBLE.  The touch up paints didn't match what was already on the wall.  My 5 year old could have done a better job, and I had to hire another painter to redo everything before the tenants were moving in 7 days later. <br />

A group of guys came out to refinish my deck, but they didn't complete the job properly. I had to get the owner back out and he finished the rest of the job for me. The deck looked great and my wife and I were happy with the result, but a few months laterthe deck started wearing through and the stain started fading. I left a message with the owner to express my concern and I never heard back from him. I waited five days and called back again to leave a message...he never responded. I called him again yesterday and left a voicemail about my displeasure. I told him I expected to hear back from him within 24 hours or I would call Angie's List and report him. It has been over 24 hours and I still haven't heard anything from him..

Two painters arrived and it was clear that one was inexperienced. The "Big Deal" called for a full day painter or two painters for four hours. The one painter with experience had to stop what he was doing on several occasions and help the other one out. Needless to say the job progressed slowly and I called RSU and told them about this. The experienced painter came back the next day and finished the job, but it cost me another 199.00. <br />

I was not wild about them. It took me a long time to get hold of them and when they did send someone back they sent a couple of young guys. I had a handyman come out finish the work because I only had a couple of hours that I had bought and they weren’t finished. I understand that they had to leave the room and not finish painting it. I had a handyman coupon and so he painted it; he did a much better job than they did. I remember asking them to wash the wall and usual they wash the wall with a solution but they just picked up a wet rag and wiped it down. I just don’t know what they have done in one of the rooms because I did not say anything at the time. They just used masking tape on the woodwork and the paint can come through with the masking tape; it was not a good tape that they had used. They did not use the painters tape but just a masking tape. I had some good tape that I would have given them but I did not realize the tape that they were using so I did get a little paint on my woodwork. The guys that came out they were okay because they got to work and did not fool around but technically they were a little off. The paint looks okay.

RSU Construction did not pay his subcontractor on time and they threatened leans on the property. My client was the owner of the home and she had to drop through hoops on that. I had to go and inspect the job several times because it wasn't finished. I had to get into the middle of arguments between RSU and his subcontractor that eventually degraded into name calling. I had a terrible experience with him. He's a nice guy though. We have used him on some smaller jobs before this one and he did a great job on those. But when he brought in the subcontractors, he could not manage them properly. I wouldn't use him in the future, not even if it was free.

Tough time getting scheduled. But very pleased with their work.

After numerous calls, I finally reached RMC. I received an excuse they didn't have my phone number. Whether or that that was actually the case, I don't know. It didn't make sense I didn't get a call back to my messages. When I called to have the painters back, it tools many calls, again to get a call back. I find RMC very unprofessional and difficult to communicate with. I would not recommend this company to anyone. <br /> <br />I don't have the exact dates the work was done. It covered some of spring and summer. <br />

The painters showed up on time and did the required work well. <br />

The work went very well-- my only uncertainty was scheduling and communication, but once we got that worked out, the work went very well. <br />

Scheduling was a nightmare and their work was terrible...  looked much worse after they left than before they arrived.  They sent me a bill for additional services rendered before any work was performed.  (I didn't pay it.)  Once they did do the work, the stain that they applied was splotchy and bubbly...  totally unacceptable.  When i called to have the service redone (multiple times), they were difficult to reach.  After multiple attempts to get them to fix the issue, they claimed that they couldn't remember having done the work.  After several scheduled appointments that turned into no-shows, they finally came out and stripped the deck.  When i called to try to get them to re-stain it, the number had been disconnected.  Needless to say, probably my worst contractor experience ever... <br />

The company did do an advance measurement of my deck as I did inform them of its size.  The technician arrived as scheduled, treated the existing finish, then power washed the residual away.  I had also selected my own finish as I wanted  a color match to the prior finish.  After power washing and some time to dry the stain was applied; while generally satisfactory, there were a couple spots, which happen also to be when the deck is most likely to get a bit of snow, that the finish seemed "thin," and I have to say after some heavy fall weather, those areas have worn more. <br />

As above.   Begin date was delayed because of a very rainy season.   Worker appeared at my address first, then sent to my daughter's home in Beaverton.  He did sight a few dry-rotted boards but did not have replacement boards with him.  He completed the job of the entire deck as was commissioned well and it is holding up well. <br />

Except for the language barrier all went well. <br />
