Rubin was professional throughout the construction project, the entire team was fantastic to work with and their attention to detail was unparalleled. They also handled all the applications and communication with our HOA/POA making the process very easy without stress. They were open to new ideas and always had patience with us and our questions/changes. They completed the project three weeks before their deadline. They even provided a organized folder of all our new owner’s manuals, paint colors/skus for each room as a reference as well as warranty information. We would, without questions hire Rubin Custom Homes for any future projects we have.

I got three quotes. Rubin and one other were close, third much higher. I chose Rubin due to reviews on Angie's and google. Very happy with results. Good quality, friendly staff, cleaned up every day, kept me well informed of progress.

Rubin Custom Homes was recommended to us by other members of our community and we were not disappointed!!! We bought our "fixer upper" hoping that Rubin Custom Homes would bring our revision to life, and we are thrilled with the outcome. Steve Rubin and the entire staff were a pleasure to work with and I would not hesitate to recommend them to others. The sub-contractors they recommend; electrician, plumber and the kitchen company "Schrapper's" were top notch. We look forward to enjoying our beautiful home with friends and family and would not hesitate to work with Rubin Custom Homes again in the future.

That's the most ethical we have built five homes, that's the most ethical builder that we've ever come across. This was a rebuild we're done building homes, but if we were to rebuild or build a new one, yes we would use him again. We have warranties for a year and following it. We had a full-time on site supervisor.

He way over charged for anything extra. Did not address concerns, so things were done that should not have been done and others were not done at all. Went $300,000 over budget after assuring we were on budget. Charged $35,000 to guarantee his work for one year after completion.

"Rubin Custom Homes, LLC went to contract with a different individual and his then wife, NOT the above reviewer. We had a positive experience with that homeowner completing an almost million dollar renovation. We were then re- hired to complete this job. The reviewer became acquainted with the homeowner at the end of this second project eventually moving in with the homeowner. This project WAS over budget, but not due to the fault of the contractor or "hidden fees." Numerous selection changes made by the homeowner and his past wife including a new roof, circular driveway, pool deck, fixtures, and flooring changed the price of this near million dollar project. The $35,000 fee mentioned in the review was part of the original contract signed and agreed upon and clearly listed as a management fee. A warranty is included in all work completed by Rubin Custom Homes and this is also specified in the contract."

Steve Rubin is a great contractor with a very professional attitude. Every remodelling project has its problems but Steve is instrumental in finding solutions. I trust his judgement and I love his commitment to customer service. He is not cheap, nor expensive but in projects like that you do not want to go cheap. He is fair and honest. I will definetely use him again. I would also like to comment on his staff, especially his superintended Chris, for their excellent conduct and responsiveness. This small company is from top to bottom dedicated to customer service. <br />

He provided a custom home renovation project and added 600 square feet to my house. He provided the service of a general contractor he was on top of every one of his subs the project was completed on time and on the budget that we discussed. His rates were 15 % of the total cost of the job, the quality of his work is top notch I would use him again.
