He came to my mom's new house and hung a new door that has a doggy door for her pets to go in and out to the backyard. Everything went really well and he was very nice. The project was tricky because of how the door fit the frame but he got everything up without issue. He was a little late arriving, but just had another appointment run over. Overall we would definitely hire him again!

Rudy explained that he was very busy and that it would take him a while to get to the repair. He gave a quote and stuck to that price. It took him about a month to get to the repair, but that was just fine with us. We were happy with the results. Hope to work with him again.

Rudy went above and beyond to make sure my job was done right and fixed some trim on a hall ceiling without asking to be paid extra! Trim and paint looked great. I would recommend Rudy to anyone.

Rudy does a great job! He is very thorough and communicates exactly what he is doing and the time frame to expect for a project to be done. I am a stay at home mom with 2 kids. I always feel very comfortable with him being in my home all day working. He's become a friend of our family. We highly recommend him to do all of your major and minor projects around the house.
Good job hooking up unconnected pipes to get the shower working. Turning off water in this old house and then on again caused unexpected additional problems with water pressure in bathroom sinks. That he could not solve. Fixed dripping faucet. If you have extensive plumbing problems, better call a plumber.

Several false starts due to the previous job taking longer than he expected. His quality of work was fine. Rudy was tough to nail down on the price. He kept asking me for money every single day he was working for me. He would hand me a scribbled note with some material prices on it. I finally told him to stop asking me for money every time I saw him because I was getting irritated with the daily requests. Overall Rudy is a nice guy and I would recommend him but do spend some time up front negotiating the price for the job and getting in writing before you give him the go ahead to start work.
It took him some time to find a match for the original siding but he did find a really close match and everything looks really nice again.
The members of the company were very polite, quick and efficient. The cost was quite reasonable. I would definitely use this company again.

The shed is wooden and the composition doors had become weathered. Rudy indicated he had had all kinds of experience with all kinds of repair projects and quoted us a price of $300 + materials. I am a functional illiterate when it comes to such projects, so I thought I was just putting everything in the hands of an expert. The job took a week or more. He would show up most everyday and work at least some. Not being able to do the job myself, I didn't care how long he took -- I only wanted it done right, and that was the buzz on him: that he was slow but a fine craftsman.
He purchased the materials, I paid for them. The two big boards he bought for the doors were mis-sawn to begin with and, he said, bad quality. As he went along, he noticed that the hinges had originally been installed backwards (maybe when this 20 year old house was built) and asked if I wanted them replaced. Obviously I did. I would have been fine with him saying, "You really need to do this or that," but he'd ask if I wanted something done. Maybe that was just a communication thing, but since I have no expertise I never knew when some things actually needed to be done or not. I just wanted two workable doors.
That's what I never got. The doors would not close unless I put my shoulder to them. He didn't know what to do. All I could think of was get two latches and screw them on to the top and bottom of the doors to keep them shut. With that jerry-rigged solution he departed. He had worked more days than either of us had figured but he didn't charge me any more than the agreed upon $300 for labor. But assuming that the problem was some strange weirdness about the doors that he could not have foreseen and had never dealt with, I ended up giving him an extra $100. A few days later my neighbor, recently retired from own his own little contstruction outfit, looked at the shed and said, "Who did this??!!" He pointed out that one of the hingest was binding. But Rudy had "screwed and glued" the door border and cross trim over the hinge, so there's no way to re-do the hinge without tearing the door apart. The neighber sanded one door so that the doors no longer bound in the center and could be closed. Then removed the outer high and low latches and re-affixed one of them to the inside bottom of the left door, drilling a hole in the shed floor so the latch bolt could be dropped into that hole. I didn't write anything at the time because everyone else gave Rudy A's and it was all done. But a little bit ago, my wife got her spring flower potting soil, etc. from the shed. And neither of us could get the shed door closed.
Rudy seems a nice guy, very affable, and judging from other reviews, is very good at some other kinds of stuff. But the shed door project was a total fail.
We first contacted Rudy because we needed the faucets fixed in the house we just bought and we needed someone to install our new microwave over our stove. Rudy was the only handyman I contacted who actually answered the phone when I called so I didn't even have to leave a message. Although he was busy with other jobs he worked us into his schedule and came out to look at the showers. He saved us a lot of money and future problems by telling us we could purchase replacement parts for the faucets instead of replacing them. He installed our microwave and we had him order the parts for the faucets.
After we moved into the house we discovered our dryer wasn't venting properly and that the clog had to be in the tube under the house. I sent Rudy a message on a Sunday and he called back right away. He had other jobs but worked us in to his schedule and was able to come out and fix the clog on Tuesday. It took awhile because the vent tube isn't really accessible from the crawl space. Rudy cleaned up all the lint he pulled out and put everything back the way it was.
Some people might consider his fee to be a little high but for the quick responses, high level of professionalism and quality of work he is worth the higher price. When possible, Rudy will suggest cost saving idea and has even given me some do-it-yourself advice on some projects I'm going to tackle myself.
We are going to have him come back and do some more work for us around the house.
Rudy was nice, honest, and quick. He was available within a week and took a day and a half to complete. The other handymen that looked at it thought they should cut into the cieling to find out if a pipe was leaking, Rudy said he thought it was the seal in the bathroom and we havent had any issues since for so much less money. i think the cost was approx $200. it was a few months ago.
It went very well. Rudy was very nice, knowledgeable and very prompt. He answered his phone right away and showed up when he said he would. Although he did not have to do much work, I was very happy with him and will call him in the future. He gave me several prices for other jobs on our list and his prices seemed very fair.
