"Thank you for the kind words, [Member Name Removed]! We appreciate hearing that our technicians were courteous and professional. Thank you for choosing RupCoe Plumbing, Heating & Air Conditioning, we hope to serve you for many more years! Take care!"
"Dear (removed member name): You couldn't speak to Gail -as she does not work Saturdays. The appointment was scheduled between 9-1. For a kitchen faucet with low pressure. I did call and speak to your husband at 1130am and yourself at 130pm - to advise that we are running late, I apologize that a flooded basement or water pouring through someone's ceiling took priority and we ran late on you. However, this was a rental property which you failed to mention and the tenant was home most of the day, so it wasn't as urgent as you make it seem. The Price quoted for the repair was $359 and the technician took $100 off the top due to the delay, as per instructions he received before arriving at your rental property. Also, the dispatch fee that was refused was $59.95. Please remember that we are here to help you, we are an emergency service company and help Homeowners with emergencies as well as some non urgent or critical repairs such as yours. Furthermore I don't feel that it is fair of you to use Angie's List as a tool to negotiate price or service. and threaten us with a bad review every time there is something you don't agree with. Sincerely Steven Shapteban"
"Dear Angie’s List user: This review is completely not factual and misleading. I will happily provide more facts as to this situation for your read. Lets look at the facts: - [Member name removed] called RupCoe at 19:35 on 4/3/15 for a Plumbing emergency. A valve after the meter was leaking all over the basement. - He called several Plumbing companies that evening, yet we were the only ones that answered the phone live, and sent a technician out right away. - Technician was dispatched by 8:00pm. - Arrived at the home at 8:30pm. - And left the home at 9:45pm. We furnished and installed a ¾” meter valve and reconnected the meter. The water company was called by the customer to shut off the water to the home. The technician from the water company, who is the root of this problem, went on to tell our technician and the customer that the price was too high. This man was neither aware of all the charges nor was he in any way qualified to even comment. It is a situation that is being investigated by the customer service manager at the water company and is grounds for immediate termination on their end. [Member name removed] proceeded to sign the invoice in 2 placed to authorize the work, and one more signature once the work was completed to his satisfaction, and paid the bill with a CC on the spot. After the technician left, [Member name removed] called our answering service and complained about the price. He was told by the agent that an email to the customer service manager was sent, and someone will be in touch with him first thing Monday am. I spoke with [Member name removed] at 9am Monday 4/6/15 at which point he explained to me that the water company technician said this and that. I explained to him that the charges were not all for the valve. It was $557 for the valve (after a $50 coupon our technician provided) and $129.95 after hours dispatch fee + tax. He explained to me that the water company technician made him doubt himself and what he paid. After some explanation of our pricing and services performed, I asked [Member name removed] if everything was satisfactory and this is resolved. He replied “Yes, Thank You”. Some days later, without as much as a phone call to our office, this review is posted. It is a clear case of buyer’s remorse. And if another plumber told him after the fact that they would do it cheaper, does not give him the right to slander us all over the internet. I spoke with [Member name removed] again after reading the review. Wanted to know what else I can do to resolve this situation. Unfortunately I can not do so when the customer is being unreasonable and wants me to match the price of the 1 truck plumber or the water company technician moon lighting. Thank You for taking the time to read my response. Steven Shapteban"
"Thank You so much for your review, [member name removed]! We strive to do the job right all the time.Sometime we fail and we go back to correct it; (No Charge)"
