Ruso Handyman

I hired Mr. Ruso to install a bathroom vanity due to going through Angis prior and he had installed a TV on the wall for me. Mr. Ruso came out to my home on March 25, Wednesday at 10am to install a vanity in my master bathroom. The following is what he did in my Master Bathroom. 1. repaired the floor, satisfactorily (which is all he did) 2. he did not repair the wall behind the vanity, there were nails in the wall and did not sand down the dry wall nor the mud that he placed in a hole to cover (I believe he thought no one would see it, so he just did not do it) 3. installed the vanity but was not flush with the wall (He said the wall wasnt straight) This left a big cap between the back and side wall. 4. installed the vanities marble top with the sink and was able to get this flush with the wall (this left the vanity coming forward and the marble top pushed back) 5.installed the plumbing underneath incorrectly and did not have the right parts to do so (left my home many times to go to Ace Hardware to get the parts) This is what he spent most of his time doing and I had asked if he would have everything he needed to do the job and he said yes. 6.installed the faucets hot and cold water on the wrong side Mr. Ruso issued me an invoice to my email for payment. I saw the receipt on his phone but wasnt able to thoroughly look at it. On the same day I went to review it and the email that he sent, said it had been erased by the sender. I paid Mr. Ruso in good faith and believed he would come back and fix what was not done correctly and spoke with him in that regard. He then came back out to my home on April 3rd and I discussed with him what I just laid out in the email. I also had a neighbor here with me at the time that had looked at his work, as well. I told him I needed all the receipts he didnt furnish me with as well and he gave them to me at that time. I told him he knew he overcharged me and needed to send me a corrected invoice. He did send me a corrected invoice but has continued to overcharge me for items he purchased. I have pictures, text and the invoices he sent me. He has charged me 579.38 for something I believe he didnt know how to do. The only thing I will give him credit for is fixing my floor. I hired someone else to come out to fix what he didnt, and he removed the vanity from the wall and found the nails still in the wall and the drywall not sanded. This is why the vanity was not flush with the wall due to the nails sticking out on the back wall. I would appreciate your help with this matter because I fully intend on seeing this through.

I have hired this pro twice now, assembling and hanging cabinets, repairing various fixtures, etc. They are great. I highly recommend them.

Everything went smoothly

Very well. Mr. Shifrin even came to our home on a weekend day to work on the washer, without charging an exorbitant fee. He did an excellent job pressure washing our metal roof. It is steeply pitched, and he worked safely, yet did a thorough job of it.
