"Hello [Member Name Removed], This has been an unfortunate situation. We understand your frustration regarding what has occurred. On the moment of the estimate we made sure to inform you that there are cables that passed by underneath the joist wooden studs. Which had nails and screws from previous drywall. Once the men went to start the job we noticed that you did not remove the nails and screws and not to mention the cable situation. Since you did not resolve what we agreed you would do our men went ahead and installed the insulation which originally only one layer was included and you requested directly to our men to add an additional layer. Our men added the insulation and cleaned out the nails and screws that you were in charge by our agreement to remove. Which I do not understand why you claim that our men did not add the insulation. You then stopped our men once they were almost done with the insulation job with the argument that the insulation was not properly installed. Based on our professional opinion we understood that it has been installed correctly. You then later in a very disrespectful tone told our men to leave your property. Regarding the deposit, we had mentioned to you that the deposit made by you was much less than what was already spent on the job we had done up to that point. So we requested you to come to an agreement with us on a lesser amount of money to return to you. Although there was no legal agreement made for you to cancel the contract and for us to return to you the deposit. Which you later argued that " No, you are entitled to a full deposit return" Which we then in fact told you we would return the money. We have no problem in returning you the money in which we will contact you personally and arrange a time and place for us to provide you with your refund. Thank you."

"Hello [Member Name Removed], The deal that you purchased was Painter for a Day (8hrs) $250.00. We sent you two painters for 4hrs each which would mean the same as one painter 8hrs. You had two rooms and one Kitchen, which the walls were very deteriorated which is something you very well know. The colors you chose were colors very dark which are considered in this industry very hard to work with. Now what you never seemed to understand is that 8hrs of work is impossible for a professional skilled painter to finish in 8hrs two rooms and one kitchen. In 4hrs of work of two painters the deal has already finished. And the job obviously was half way through which you continued to insist and expect that your project would be done in 8hr work day (4hrs two Painters). Keeping note that you are already out of the deal by then the only way to continue to get more work done would be if you made a deal personally with us. Which our company in that time would charge $50/hr per painter of the extra hours outside of the deal that was purchased by you. So we then finished the job in 16hrs (two painters 8hrs each). Which this is something that was explained to you in various opportunities prior to start of the job. Which there is physical text of proof that you confirm to me having to clearly understand what I was telling you. So $50/hr for 8hrs is equivalent to $400.00, from 8hrs extra of $50/hr. Later once the job was done you told me that I told you the job was $400.00 total. Then you reluctantly gave me $151.00 arguing that the job was a total of $400.00 which is something I never told you. So we can say to this moment you still owe us $250.00 , which then we preferred to just leave it as it is. Obviously after understanding your attitude and your intention to ruin our company's prestige. Our quality of work and comments from our clientele , it takes value away from what you are saying. Due to this we are forced to proceed in the appropriate manner and send the remaining balance of $250.00 to collections. Regarding to what you commented about Angie's List, I consider out of place since the Angie's list deal you purchased was completed and after you had to make an agreement of price with us. Now, I see that you are accusing us of Scamming clientele recognizing that you are the one owing us $250.00. Let us know what you will do, we will be waiting 30 days for you to make your payment. Thank you."
