Excellent work

I requested a quote for getting my post lights working. They charged me $120 service call to diagnose the problem (I wasn’t informed there was a service call fee until I was asked for payment). They gave me a quote of $750 to run a new line to the post lights and retrench (the the cost of first service call could not be put toward the repair making the total cost $870). I declined. Another company fixed the problem at the junction for no service call fee and $110. Rytec was prompt and professional but did not hit the mark for me. I saved a lot of money getting a second quote.

Arrived on time. Professional. No complaints.

I am very pleased with the work. It was done professionally and the employees as well as the office staff were courteous and great to work with. I would recommend them to anyone and should I need more work I will definitely have them return.

Two electricians came at the scheduled time. They were very considerate and helpful, and kept me informed throughout the project. They did an excellent job of all the electrical work and cleaned up after themselves in each location. I was very impressed with the thoroughness of the labeling of the main electrical panel. They found the rooms and appliances for each breaker and labeled it accordingly. I am very pleased with their work and would not hesitate to have them back for any other electrical work I may have in the future.

Truly professional! Tech was great, knowledgeable and did a great job. The wife wanted to convert our electric stove to gas. Tech converted 220V to 110V with new wires run, new outlet per code. Very neat. Very reasonably priced because you are not paying for commercial spots constantly! Would use again and again for ANY electrical job I need.

I had my circuit panel upgraded and moved to the exterior of my home. Rytec sent someone to speak with me and give me an estimate that included upgrading to a 20 amp circuit panel and moving the panel outside. To ensure my house was to code, they also included the installation of a connected fire system. They were professional but I originally asked that they include a couple 220V outlets in a couple rooms but they didn’t complete that. It was a miscommunication, they didn’t charge me for the outlets but I will likely have them return to install those outlets.

Technician Spencer Sharp showed up at the exact time and was very friendly and professional. Job was completed in about an hour. I definitely will use their service again when needed. Definitely a 5 star company!!:)

I am doing a complete kitchen remodel and needed some electrical work done ASAP to be able to move forward with the rest of the remodel. I already had one estimate done and wanted a second. I sent a message through Angie's List on 8-5-19. Received a response the next day to call Justin, the operations manager. I called the number listed, (but spoke with a young lady, not Justin) and scheduled the appointment for 8-13-19 at 2:00pm. The tech arrived as scheduled and my wife explained everything we needed done. He was courteous and professional, and seemed knowledgeable about what needed to be done. His suggestions/answers were mostly in line with the other company. I was at work but did talk with the tech on the phone while he was at the house. He told me on the phone, and told my wife, we would "have the estimate later this evening," On 8-15-19 (2 days later) at 10:13AM, I sent another message through Angie's List requesting the estimate to be sent, and that we are waiting on the estimate in order to move forward with the other work in the kitchen. Had a third company come out 8-17-19 (SATURDAY) for an estimate and they came back 8-18-19 (SUNDAY) to complete some of the work we needed done to move forward with the kitchen remodel. As of 8-19-19 at 10:45am, I still haven't heard a peep from Rytec. The total job I need done is in the neighborhood of $3-4000 worth of work. I'm sorry, but I am not going to chase down a company to give them my money. Not sure what the issue is, but they sure dropped the ball on this one. Hope this is just a one time thing and not the norm...

I looked on Angie's list on a Sunday night, pick out Rytec Electric because 3 years ago they did some work for me. They called me the following morning. Very friendly. The representative told me they would work us in the same day. They did. They had us back to full power in no time. Parts of the kitchen, back den wall, back master bedroom wall, and all master bathroom. Also received a follow up call to ensure the job was to my satisfaction.

The owner himself came to my home and gave me the estimate for my work. He was on time and a professional. The office staff was pleasant and made scheduling easy. The two technicians arrived on time, did a great job and did not leave a mess. Very happy with the quality of work and service

GREAT work and friendly service!!

Excellent. Part was replaced quickly and technician tested everything to make sure it was 100% functional. Rytec kept in touch with me by phone to confirm appointment time, then technician called me before arriving so I knew he would be early. Definitely will use this company again. Although we didn't ask for it, when technician found out we are retired military, we were given a 10% military discount.

Brought in under estimate and extra work was able to be done.

electrician came out on time and gave and estimate. then on scheduled date tech arrived and installed my recessed lights and dimmer switch with no problems. tech also ensured area was cleaned and everything worked good. also had tech look at and repair short in ceiling fan in bedroom with no problems. would definitely hire again

This would have been a solid A except for two things: 1) the contractor failed to pull a building permit; and, 2) a worker trampled my wife's flowerbed while installing the ground rod. Failing to pull the necessary permitting resulted in the city inspector shutting down the project for about two hours. Still, the electricians were able to finish the job by late afternoon. Overall, we're satisfied with the work and feel safer with the new electrical panel, which replaced a unit that has a history of failure. Having the smoke detectors hardwired to meet new code requirements was an added safety bonus.

I had used Rytec March 2017 for a big job (about 2,300.00) and was very pleased. This time, not so much. Simple request for to add two dedicated receptacles in my mudroom. Showed the guy where I wanted them installed. He insisted I install a quad instead between the two desired locations. He cut a hole in his chosen location only to find it was in the middle of a stud and not doable. He attempted to relocate but could not finish the job without help. He assured me someone from his office would contact me to have his wall boo-boos repaired. A week later two came from Rytec to finished the installation but insisted they were not responsible for previous installers damage to my wall but ASSURED me someone from their office would contact me and make it right. Never heard back from Rytec. Quad Outlet works perfect but I wanted and was willing to pay for two regular outlets located approximately 2 foot apart. Customer needs and follow up service was lacking on this job. Would hire again if they make good on repairing previous damage tech agreed they would repair.
