M&S Contracting, LLC

Hired Shane Patton and Macy Rush from M&S Contracting, LLC to build a 60x30 pole barn on our property in Greene County in August 2024. Over the course of 4 months, <$10,000 work was done, of an up-front $46,000 deposit. During that time period Shane gave multiple excuses (personal illness, family members being lifelined to various hospitals, child custody challenges, materials delays from local vendors) resulting in no progress. After these delays, we discovered they wrote a bad check to a company for over $10,000 toward our barn cost and outright lied about placing material orders. We learned they have court judgements against them in several Indiana counties, totaling upwards of $300,000, involving both individuals and local businesses. (Search mycase.IN.gov). - They signed an agreement in Nov. 2024 to return some of the $36,000.00 they stole. As of 1/27/25, we have received nothing. - Public records state that Shane has a felony charge against him for check fraud as of 01/23/25.

Unfinished. We paid in full for the provided estimate below. M&S did the tree trim work and began work on the driveway but did not complete it. We've had no progress on the fence repair or deck to be built, and no attempt to finish the driveway in nearly a month. What remains more concerning is the lack of communication that has resulted. Early after M&S's first tree work and cashing our check, we were promised dates that they would come to finish. We were stood up on two different occasions after making accommodations for bringing in trucks and equipment needed. At this point, we would accept being refunded though ideally the work would be finished.

Very accommodating. They worked around our schedule which had been interrupted a couple of times due to HOA issues & my illness. But they kept checking in - in a caring and accommodating manner. Their work was skilled, fast and their clean up was very well done. We will be having more work done by them soon. Highly recommend!

I put my trust in them and did not regret it at all. Outstanding work , outstanding price , wonderful kind considerate people. The work they did on my land is out of a fairy tale and they made me the princess. You would be a fool not to hire these guys. Good Christian people.

When a sizable sinkhole opened in my driveway, I had to get it repaired ASAP for obvious reasons. I contacted M&S for the job. Best decision ever folks! They were thorough, explained every step, and made my driveway safe again. Huge thanks!

Overall this company does an excellent job. Personally I thought the price was a tad high and communication could be improved. However the job only took 1 day, clean up was immaculate. I do highly recommend.

M&S show up and get the job done, and for an affordable price! We had a large tree that was leaning towards the house, just waiting for the right gust of wind to come cause a larger issue. They gave us an estimate, better than any we had received, and got the tree taken down safely and quickly. We rest easy now knowing we no longer have it to be concerned about.
