Incredible, after unsuccessfully attempting to get the firm who recently put on my new roof to repair a small amount of storm damage, I called ST. Raphael Roofing. They promptly and professionally answered by call, provided me a reasonable quote and showed up on time and did a quality job. Highly recommend them, good people.

We had a problem with cracked tiles. We have a tile roof. It took them over a week to come out and give me a price. They showed up and they had the wrong color roof tiles. It's a brick red roof tile and they had gray ones. They started raising them up to the roof and I had to flag them down. So that kind of turned me off. After they came back with the right ones the job appeared to be fine. They showed up on time to do the actual work.

We had an excellent roofer out of Naples Florida. They were out of this world. We sprung a leak down at one of our very expensive house down in Naples Florida, and It was doing damage. They fixed it and it wasn’t quite fixed. They sent somebody out immediately. They were just wonderful. They came out so quickly in the first place, but they were really with it. They repaired 2 areas that were kind of difficult. I can not explain how complicated this roof is. It has these big, heavy, cement tiles that are supposed to look like terracotta. It’s not just an asphalt shingle roof or some simple thing. They had to take these big, heavy blocks off the roof and repair two or three places. They were really, really great. I’m so pleased with them. Definitely, the top score they could have. We got a price from the people who put the roof on and these people were very, very reasonable, compared to the original roofer. We had used the original roofer to make repairs before because we thought, well, they know about the product, they would be the best person, but it leaked again, after they fixed it, so we went away from them. These people were great. They were great. I’m assuming, that the repair will hold. There was a guy (a painter) that was getting ready to work and he cut some sheet rock out of the ceiling out of one of our most spectacular, beautiful bedrooms and we weren’t going to be able to use it. This guy (the roofer) worked with the painter, and between them, they worked and got the whole thing done. I got an e-mail, I got messages back, they were great, they were wonderful. They came exactly on time. Their guy that did the estimating and looked at it was very intelligent. Some roofers, that’s an industry that can have a lot of variation but I was thrilled with them. I hope I don’t have to use them again, but if I do have to, I will use them again.

My neighbors and I both had them do work. They were careful and did the work, priced well. When the gutters leaked in a later rain, they came back without hesitation and stood by their work.

At the time we have a broken skylight and it's raining it needs to be fixed and we called several different company and most of them was like we had to wait a week or two weeks and they were out within a couple days gave us a quote and had it fixed and half the price of some of the others. <br /> <br /> It was quick, it was efficient and incredible reasonable priced.

"Mr [Member name], We apologize for any confusion and inconvenience but after the crew left your home and received your complements of how great work they've done, we are very surprise to read this bad review. Within your proposal there is no estimation on how long the roof repair would take, you are not considering mobilization time that has a cost associated and the crew were there for over 3 hours and we can show you the records of the GPS on their vehicle. If the job would have been calculated at 6 hours for 2 man crew, our hourly rate as stated on your proposal that was reviewed and signed by you stated $80 x man hour. That would be a total of $960 just for labor if we were estimating 6 hours, that cost does not even include the materials, if the job would have been calculated for 6 hours plus materials the proposal would have been for a minimum of $1,400.00. The work was completed as stated on your proposal and rotted wood replaced as well. I really hope this explanation clarifies any questions or concerns you had. We really appreciate your business and any feed back to become better for our current and future customers."

They were first called out to repair a leak around my chimney. When they <br /> went in to fix the problem, they found my chimney was sitting on <br /> nothing or rotten wood. They rebuilt the roof under the chimney, <br /> reinstalled all the flashing etc, re-stuccoed the chimney and painted it <br /> to match the house. It looks great now and my chimney no longer wobbles <br /> in the breeze! <br />

<strong>Still waiting for final resolution of multiple issues. Will update report when they are finalized.<br /> On time, but without proper supervision resulting in damage to driveway concrete and dimples in garage doors because plywood was not put in place to guard against bouncing old tiles hitting the doors. Had a leak 1 month later , but owner cam next day and a crew came the following day to repair it and take responsibility.. <br /> No follow-up by salespaerson once he had contract signed.<br /> Owner is responsive, but homeowner needs to do sgnificat oversight and foreman needs to be onsight.<br /> </strong>I would only use if comany were locked down tight in the contract. <br /> I also read that now they have no bonding or insurance????? I would contact owner to see if that is a mistake!!! <br />

They were extremely responsive. Their pricing was excellent as was their work. I was not present while the roof was replaced, but they sent pictures and I inspected the work before paying the balance. There were a couple of minor problems and again, they were very responsive in working out a solution favorable to both parties. I would definitely hire them again (although I certainly hope I don't need to) and would highly recommend them. <br />

Had a leak in a condo where my sister lives alone. Needless to say she was quite upset. <br />Based on Angie's List recommendations I contacted Saint Raphael Roofing. <br />They went to the condo and promised to send me pics, etc.of the problem. I told them meantime to solve the problem. <br />I never received any details of the work but did receive a $1,500 bill to fix a small leak in two hours with little or no materials.. I thought it was outrageous but it calmed my sister down. I paid the invoice. <br />Them, FOUR DAYS LATER, there is ANOTHER leak 3 feet from the original. Only this time I am told it will cost another $1,700 to fix. <br />that is a total of $3,200! <br />My sister went off the wall and under great duress so I agree. I felt at that time, and still do, that I was taken advantage of and had no choice. <br />I believe Saint Raphael Roofing took advantage of us and this feeling is only magnified now that I have to send another roofer out to fix the problem that Saint Raphael Roofing did not repair. <br /> <br />I don't trust Saint Raphael and would strongly recommend AGAINST using them. <br /> <br />I give them the lowest rating I can give, not only or incompetence but honesty. <br />

This was a <em>wonderful</em> experience for us! They performed the job promptly, and we were kept informed of what to expect via the pleasant and professional office staff who called us with all updates. They showed up on time and cleaned up after themselves very nicely. The roof looks amazing, and we had many compliments from the neighbors immediately after completion. It took much less time than they estimated and everyone was courteous and respectful! I certainly recommend them for your needs. <br />

My experience was great, the salesman was great. Everything was going well, until, it came time for the frist payment. They explained that it was going to cost me extra for materials. I was under the impression per our contract that these items would be included. He said they were not included. After negotiating for a while, he came down on the price. Once the work was completed I called the city and explained the situation.When I informed Saint Raphael of my findings, they eventually took the extra charge off my bill but not until after the hassel of contacting the city.

"Additional charge was for flashing, which we are unable to tell how much was needed until the old roof was removed. Due to the wording in our contract, the customer felt that it should have been part of the price. We agreed to not charge her the additional cost and have since changed the way we word our contracts so as to not have this issue with any other customers. We spoke with the inspector as well and he understood our situation. He also assured us we do high quality work and would choose us first over any other contractor in this area."

We were insured that there would be someone there that spoke English and there was not. As a result, there was a lot of miscommunication about work being done. <br /> The pricing was not what they provided on the estimate and contract (they were supposed to charge us for lineal fete). Their clean up was not the greatest either, there were nails everywhere. <br /> Personally, they were not to our satisfaction and we would not use them again.

"We had a supervisor and the owner, both english speaking, at the jobsite several times. Customer began picking up the nails prior to completion of the dry in. We always run the magnet to pick up nails upon completion. We try to run the magnet around several times throughout the project so as to keep a clean jobsite. We feel they began complaining about the nails prematurely."

We can't say enough about how satisfied we are in every respect. This is a local and family owned company which is worth supporting but more important they are extremely conscientious, competent, well organized and professional. Owner George, foreman Tony and crews more than met our expectations and the result is just what we hoped for. Fair, honest, timely, capable, excellent planning and communication - a model of what a contractor should be. Price was best of four bids we received. Highly recommended! <br /> <br /> We have no connection with Saint Raphael other than as a very satisfied customer.

Norm was responsive with an estimate and followed up. The communication lacked from sales to the roofing foremen. The original contract included new gutters, an option for hurricane resistant Miami-Dade high curb skylights. What was ordered was the high impact skylights (caught just before installation). The gutters were almost missed (they are subcontract out. Not the best quality installation of screwed corners, downspout opening was cut too small for capacity, and caulking, but very responsive on the quick installtion scheduled promised by Jorge). I was on site during the entire replacement and new installation and have extensive construction background. Jorge has excellant roofing background and professioalism and was on site the first day for the membrane, stopped at the site for the other installations, and very available and responsive from the phone and email. He contacted Norm to verify scope and pricing and honered the original quote for the correct skylights and gutters. Jorge also assisted me with clearing up the permit with the City of Cape Coral (after another roofing contractor , Nastar, took out a permit when the contract was voided because they never returned a phone call, sent an insurance certificate, signed the addtional contract addendum of terms and conditions or called me back after a week). I would watch the actual required sheathing replacement (extra cost at $60/sheet, hence added $480 to the invoicing). Rather than what is actually required for replacement, more sheathing was removed, requiring almost a half or full sheet to be charged. Somewhat my direction to provide the correct installation. I should have watched it more closely. <br /> The disappointment was the incorrect invoicing, final and correct waivers (rated C-). This was just resolved on 3/1. Jorge honored my request to withhold the remaining balance until I received the corrected invoice, waivers and supplier waiver, company warranty letter for leaks. I released final payment and trust that after 30 days he will send the GAF warranty. Overall I would have given an "A" for a grade if I did not have these issues. <br /> As of now (waiting for the GAF warranty), I would use SRR again.
