Salmon Bay Window Cleaning

Great! They were fabulous! Their application process of moss prevention is much more thorough than other moss removal and prevention/roof cleaning companies we have used in the past. Their product is longer lasting so that we don't need someone out here every year or even two years. Their moss removal process is more gentle than other companies we have used, too. They are very concientious and clean up is very detailed.

We have a fairly large house (3,000 square feet) in a neighborhood with lots of pine trees.  Not only that, we seem to have roof with very thick shingles, so there's lots of shady areas for moss to grow in.  To put it mildly, our roof and gutters were massive mess.   The price might seem a bit high, but we thought it was reasonable  - It took two guys about 5 to do it all.   <br /> Salmon Bay did a GREAT job at cleaning the roof and gutters.   Not only that, their clean-up was immaculate.  By they time they were done they had completely cleaned every bit of debris that fell from the roof they also blew off all the leaves off our (small) lawn and shoveled everything into our yard waste bin.    Our lawn and patios look practically pristine and they started off looking as bad as our roof did.   <br /> Overall, we were very impressed with their service, we'll definitely be calling them back in the fall.   <br /> Were they the cheapest?  No.  But I'm willing to pay a bit more for quality work like this. <br />

Everything went well - crew was later than they expected (previous job took longer), but that was communicated in a timely manner. I was nervous about my 60 year old picture window storms - they were very careful. Windows look great. Nice guys, very professional, appropriate around my kids :) <br />

They did pressure washing and they did a good job.  The gentle man who has the company is prompt and his estimates are accurate. My interaction with him was great and the pressure washing was awesome.

He used a hand wire brush and scrubbed everything by hand, instead of just power washing. He did a very thorough cleaning.

It was good. We've used them two years in a row. We were happy with them and we've used them four times now. They do the job, come quickly, and they are just perfect. we would use them again and several of our neighbors have used them.

It worked out great. They were 5-star. My interaction was very good. The work was very good.

They showed up on time and were done with roof and gutters in about an hour, and completed windows in another 1-2 hours.  Were cleaned up and gone in about 3hrs.  Two man crew.  I removed all window screens.  They only wipe off the screens, so I decided to wash them myself.  They did not wash the gutters as some previous cleaners had done, but there really was little moss on them so I was OK with that for the price paid.  Professional in all dealings, and I would use them again assuming I did not need the gutters washed as well due to moss build-up.

Alan (the principal of Salmon Bay) and his associate on the job were very personable (easy to like). <br /> Before Alan started work, I emailed him to find out how he was going to clean the gutters and how he was going to prevent debris from going into the downspouts. However, I didn't hear back from him, and I still didn't find out when he and his associate showed up with a leaf blower to start cleaning the roof. (I couldn't hang around until they started cleaning the gutters; so, I didn't find out how the cleaning was done until the job was finished---when I learned that they had used leaf blowers to clean out the gutters.) <br /> NOTE: Until this year, I cleaned the gutters myself--by hand (without any power equipment). But, I couldn't do it anymore. That's why I hired Salmon Bay to do it. <br /> I had to leave before the roof cleaning was done; so, I didn't get a chance to see how the gutters were cleaned. When I inspected them afterwards, they were clean; however, their cleanup after the gutter cleaning was not the best. <br /> Between some of the gutters and their fascia boards were spaces where the gutters sagged a little. This is normal for a house as old as mine, but these spaces created problems when the leaf blowers were used because the blowers forced air, water, and debris under high pressure through some of these spaces--creating a mess (backsplash) under the roof overhang and on the framing above the garage door. Apparently, during the cleanup afterwards, Salmon Bay did not notice this backsplash--a surprise since this must be a common occurrence in their work with leaf blowers.  (I pointed this out in some feedback that I sent them by email, but I didn't hear back from them.) <br /> My bottom line: the communication with Salmon Bay was disappointing, and its cleanup after the gutter cleaning was disappointing.  Would I use them again--maybe, if I can't find someone better. <br /> <br /> <br />

Salmon bay did a great job! It was very easy to work with them and they exceeded expectations.

Alan is very professional and just wonderful to deal with. He gave me a quick appointment, showed up on time, and did the job right. I would recommend him and would use him again myself.

They were great. They were going to e-mail us an invoice and we didn't get that. But the service was great. The guys were really nice and did a great job. We told them we would use them again. I know there was a set fee for whatever they booked and the he did some additional stuff for us and we paid additional for that. They trimmed some branches that were hanging over the roof. They were awesome.

Alan answered the phone immediately, had a cancellation that very afternoon, so came out within hours of the call.  He was very responsive and very professional.  Did the job to my 80-year old mother's satisfaction, which doesn't come easy!  He spent the time necessary and had to move furniture around on the back porch to get at everything.  We were all stunned at how great a job his power washing did to combat the moss/slipperiness we were dealing with.   We will use him again absolutely! <br />

Really liked working with Salmon Bay.  They were professional and thorough.  I had asked them to clean and put moss protector on roof if necessary - as well as clean gutters.  Roof is very steep.  They said there was no need for moss killer (it had been done last year).  I appreciated the honesty.  The remainder of the job was done well.  Would use again. <br />

It all went very well.  The group was very professional and the owner was very organized and friendly. <br />
