The work that was done was good but initially he asked for $2125.00 half of the agreed amount. On 10-22-25 he said he had to have 3000.00 due to his truck breaking down and he said we have power washed the house and covered the windows already. Because I had already given the first check, I gave the next check hoping that they would follow up, and they painted the house the next day. I have a single wide mobile home. He said he would do the driveway for $ 1200.00, and I agreed to that. On the 24th he asked for the remaining $700.00 and I gave him the check as he promised he would be back to finish up the trim etc. As of today, he has not returned. The contract was on my phone, and the additional agreements were by word of mouth. My husband passed recently and handled these things, so I did not follow good policy dealing with contractors.
