Same Day Appliance Repair is a family run company. We are small but mighty. My husband and I have been working in the appliance business for almost 24 years. We have very reasonable prices. We are fully licensed and insured. We have a small service fee that is free when you get a repair done. Repairs are priced by a flat rate so there are no little surprises when you get the final bill.

I cannot recommend Same Day Appliance Repair enough! Chris visited my home today and provided exceptional service on my washer. Not only was he professional and efficient, but he also took the time to explain the issue and the solution.

Called the based on reviews on NextDoor where folks in the Sun City area were very pleased. Wayne came out and diagnosed our flashing lights on the dishwasher as a bad control panel. It was a Saturday and we both work so I asked if there was any way possible he could get the part and repair it the same day. He looked all over and found a part in Tampa and returned within an hour to do the repair. I thought had seen a coupon on Angies list and looked them up. I was surprized by the low grade but by then our work was already done and I just needed to pay. I promised I would come one here any and write this company a recent recent review. Wayne has been with them one month. Their previous repair person was making all kinds of mistakes and is now gone. This is a small business and owner had some health problems. With Wayne doing the repairs their grade needs to be an A+ for his excellent customer service. On time, correct diagnosis, got the part same say (usually they have to order it - but there was a no-pick up he was able to get). We paid $69 for the first visit and that was deducted from the $309 we were charged for the parts and labor to replace the control panel. I thought that was very fair.

Guy didnt know what he was doing. Said he couldnt find a part that was needed but we could find it. If he could have found the part he was going to charge like $200. To repair the fridge would have been $400.

I had bought an Angie's deal for a refrigerator repair for $112.50. I contacted the provider and they promptly came out. It was discovered that the solenoid needed replacement. They charged me an additional $129.34 which I foolishly paid. After further investigation I felt that I had been grossly overcharged. I contacted Jeff with Same Day Appliance and he agreed that I had been overcharged. He agreed to refund $72.34. I have contacted him a number of times since then to no avail. I feel and he admitted that I was ripped off. <br />

Jeff went into my attic and found a detached vent. He did not fix my problem but referred me to another business. He didn't charge me for coming out. So thanks! Mary

Arrived early (that was okay), quickly identified the problem, had to leave to get a part but returned quickly. Very happy to have my oven working. I did forget to use my Angie's List coupon. <br />

My washer was not draining which was a real problem. The next day I contacted Same Day repair. Since it was after 4:30 I was at best trying to set up an appointment for the following day. The receptionist said the repairman was in the immediate area. He came over before 5:00 and had it fixed by 5:15. He was professional and efficient and had the necessary part on hand. Quick friendly customer service! I will contact again for future repairs.

I called the company on Saturday when we realized our refrigarator was not colling. Jeff came out later the same day and diagosed the problem as a broken evaporator fan motor. Unfortunately the parts houses were closed but he aquired a fan motor on Monday and came to our house the same day and installed the motor. He was very prompt and professional and I would not hesitate to call him again for any appliance repair. <br />

This was Jeff's second visit to fix the control on glass stove top range. The first time, Jeff was unable to locate the proper control, so I did an extensive search on the internet and was able to locate one myself. Since I was pleased with the prior service of Jeff, I called him back and asked him to install the control. Jeff made an appointment for the next day and had the control installed in no time. My first review of Jeff's company inadvertently showed an overall C rating. It should have been a B rating only due to the fact that he could not locate the part needed. Jeff more than made up for that on this last visit. The next time I need an appliance repair man, I will definitely use this company.

He fixed the receptacle in the refrigerator (contact pin was bent). Microwave needed a new magnetron tube so I was advised to just purchase a new microwave because it would actually cost less than the repair. He claimed they no longer made a replacement control for the stove top burner since the unit was over 20 yrs old. I later was able to go online and purchase the control myself. I don't think he wanted to attempt the repair because of his unfamiliarity with this particular unit. This is the only thing I would give him a failing grade for. Overall he was very courteous and did only charge me for the service call. <br />

Jeff Huff, owner agreed to refund $96.29. on 10/13/12 <br /> Finally on in March, 2013 a check for $80.00 was sent from another Huff business name <br /> Hillsborough County Consumer Protection Agency had to be contacted to get the refund sent. <br /> Worst customer service ever!! <br /> Huff would not return calls. <br /> It took 5 months to get a refund!! <br /> Huff moved and now does business under another name <br />

My husband's 50th birthday party is tomorrow. Time to bake the cake and my oven won't heat. I research the symptoms on the internet and find most likely the ignitor has gone bad. I look on Angie's list and call a couple of top rated people who were booked or had situations that would only allow them to come on Monday. I'm a cake decorator, and HAVE to bake this cake, of course! <br /> <br /> I looked online for appliance repair in Valrico and found Same Day Appliance Repair. I called them to see if they could come today. Yes, they could. I asked if they would be able to put the replacement part into the oven so I could use it today. I provided the model of my oven and she had the technicians pick up the part on the way to my house. <br /> <br /> Two techs (one in training) arrived on the latter side of the window of arrival quoted. They were really professional and fast at their work. Within 30 minutes, my oven was working once more! I highly recommend this company as their pricing was competitive with other companies I called, which is amazing considering they were available the "SAME DAY"! <br /> <br />
