Same Day Drain Cleaning & Plumbing Repair

provider replaced the well pump but did not install correctly and the pump ceased to work. He replaced with an additional pump at my cost which again failed to work. Believe that this was incorrectly installed. Contractor will not remedy situation and constantly makes excuses. I have had a non-operative well for 7 months despite constant requests for him to remedy this. He made the return call to replace the well once I had completely cleaned out the well as he said that was the problem - when he installed a new pump this again failed to work. He is now totally ignoring my requests that he either refund the money I have outlayed which is over $1200.

Brad was awesome!! Not only did he come over at 10:30pm on a Saturday to help us with our leaking ceiling, he also came with a smile. Brad was quick, cleaned up afterwards, and explained everything he was doing. So glad we found this company. I've already recommended him to our neighbors and will continue to share his name.

Came on short notice, leading into a Holiday and did what looks like quality work. Was quick, efficient, and courteous. <br /> Wasted no time and did just what was needed, and had quality parts. <br /> The price, $210 for about 25 minutes was not excessive, because it was same day, leading into a Holiday, and it looks like quality pipe parts were used, etc. but it was slightly expensive. If it had been $199 I would have given it a "B" for price, and if $149, would have given it an "A" for price. Everything else is "A."  <br /> I would use them again for a same day need, but would shop around for alternatives if there was some time flexibility. <br /> <br /> <br /> UPDATE: I called these folks back on two subsequent occasions and the first went well diagnosing a leak ($950. The second, though, was not good. They said they would come by that day for another appointment, for installation of two items, but never came. I called back and followed up and no one returned my call. After waiting much of the day for a contact, I contacted another plumber. Disappointing to have that kind of experience after two pretty good ones. <br /> <br /> Accordingly, I'm adjusting the rating down to a "C." Not coming at all, and not following up is not acceptable.

The clog was an emergency from our standpoint. I called Same Day and they said they would be there as soon as they could. They arrived sooner that I could have hoped for. They listened carefully to what I said, checked a number of things, and then located and cleared the clog. We've had mixed results with plumbers in the past. We will always call Same Day in the future. <br />

<p>We called Same Day Plumbing first thing the next morning.  They were out to review the work that needed to be done and all work was done, water back on, hot water heater replaced before lunch time.  Amazing.  </p> <p><br /></p> <p>We've used this company before two different times for rental property.  They were the only ones who would respond right away, very knowledgeable and professional.  We will continue to use this company for our plumbing needs and recommend them to others.  </p> <br />

Plumber showed up at least an hour before the scheduled service. It caught me completely off guard because I was preparing to jump in the shower when I heard a knock at the door. Anyway, better to be early than late I suppose. The problem was quickly diagnosed, but plumber didn't have a needed part on his truck, so he had to leave for an hour to retrieve the part. I noted when he came and left, two and a half hours from the first time that he arrived to his departure. Work went well, as planned, but the cost of services is what my wife and I had a problem with. We both agreed that the charge seemed high, especially considering the time that was actually spent making the repair (an hour and a half at most). The total cost was originally $425, but after the service was performed, I was told a premium charge would also be added because I wanted to pay by credit card. <br /> I later twice requested a copy of the plumber's invoice with parts and labor broken down, but never received a response. So I did a little research on my own. I learned that the replaced part generally should run about $150. Well, that means the labor was $275! That's $110 an hour, including the unproductive time spent driving to get a part. Most workmen, like an electrician I used recently, charge $110+/- for the first hour, then substantially less for time spent on the job after the first hour. I honestly believe I was charged about $100 more than I should have been, but feared we couldn't afford the prospect of going without water - especially considering that family was coming to stay with us two days later. <br />

He arrived when he said he would. All work was completed quickly and properly. He even made some additional modifications beyond what was asked of him at no additional charge. <br />

<p>The problem ended up being the on/off the single valve The valve was 12 years old and nothing last forever. He was able to identify the problem, had to leave to get the parts but returned within 30 minutes (Lowe's Home Improvement store located within 2 miles of my home), and all repairs were completed within 90 minutes of his arrival. No more leaking.</p> <p>Needs to be pointed out that I called late Wednesday afternoon and by late Thursday afternoon the problem was repaired. Though not the same day all repairs were done within a days time. I have kept there business card, put the number into my phone, and if another plumbing problem occurs, Same Day Drain Cleaning and Plumbing Repair will be the first call I make!<br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> </p> <br />

They were good. They unplugged our septic tank. They were pretty reasonable on their prices and good about getting out here and giving us the help we needed. They came out after hours too.

Plumber was prompt and completed the project very quickly. No leaks after he was done and the toilet works well. Second time I used him and both were excellently performed, additional repairs pointed out and were completed timely.

The plumber was great.  We had soapy water bubbling up from our toilets.   He arrived within an hour and worked well into the night.  We were very grateful to have running water again. <br />

All I can say is that I enjoyed the best experience I've ever had with a Plumber. Paul showed up when he said he would, performed the repair expertly and even took the time to explain to me what the problem was so I could be prepared in case it happened again elsewhere in the house. Could I have saved $20-$30, sure, but after working with Paul and Same Day I would say you get what you pay for. The best endorsement I can give is that for any future plumbing needs as long as I remain in the area, they will be my only call.

Main water shut-off valve was "frozen" in open position and would not close. Called Same Day and within two hours from the time I called, the valve was removed and replaced. Great job. Will use them again.

Our kitchen sink in our recently purchased house backed up and backed up very hard. I called around to some other plumbers but was told and quot;Maybe we can get out today, maybe not, we'll call you in the afternoon.and quot; <br /> <br /> I called Same Day and they were out within 2 hours. <br /> <br /> The plumber was thorough and efficient with his work. He also explained to me some of the potential issues with plumbing of the house and told me they'd be glad to come out for a free estimate. <br /> <br /> I only gave them a B on the price because they were right in the middle of the pricing scale of the other plumbers I called. This was my first time calling a plumber, so I wasn't particularly familiar with pricing. <br />

We had a mystery leak in he ceiling that I needed a plumber to look at. We called and Paul came out the same day. He had to cut a hole in the ceiling but did a thorough inspection of all possible culprits but unfortunately he could not locate the source. He did notice some cracks around the shower drain that he sealed and we agreed to leave the hole in the ceiling open for a week or so to see if we could identify under what conditions the leak would manifest itself. We later found out it was a rotten vent pipe flashing on the roof.

Repair work was fine. As noted above, I just thought cost was a little high for the simple work performed.

They pointed out what the problem was. Nothing was broken and it was a simple adjustment so they just charged me for a standard service call. I think their price was reasonable and will use them again in the future.

I had been having problems with 2 toilets in my house. They kept getting clogged. I had the plumber who installed the toilets look at it and couldn't find a problem. When I called Same Day Drains, (Friday at about 5:00). Paul stated he was on a job but would stop by after he was done. He called about 6:15 and told me he was on his way. I don't know what he did but we haven't had a problem with either toilet since. I would definitely recommend Same Day Drain Cleaning and Plumbing repair.

He does his work very well. He is very professional. I love how friendly he is. He is very honest and straightforward. He actually had to take the toilet apart to fix the problem for me. He gets there when he tells me he is going to be there. He doesn’t make me wait or anything like that. I would recommend him to others that he is worth the call. I haven’t had a problem with anything since he has been there and he is the plumber that I call back for if I need services. The price was very good it wasn’t overpriced, he was definitely underpriced. I called around a few other places and they seemed to be a little overpriced than he is. He does very good quality work. Everything is good with him. I would definitely use him again in the future.
