It went OK, but because I wasn't constantly watching them they didn't follow my instructions exactly and a couple of things turned out a bit off from my original discussions with the foreman that morning. I will take the blame on that, I just didn't know that the foreman didn't understand what I wanted, and I wish he would have asked for clarification on a couple of things. Other than that, the crew worked very hard all day long and got a lot of work done for me. They were all very respectful when I interacted with them.

It went very well for the most part but then they did a side job of repairing some concrete and botched that and never returned to fix it. I believe they went out of business.

I thought the price was reasonable, but the company representatives were very delayed in getting back to me, and the two-person team actually missed the first appointment (I left work to meet them at my home).  Later, when I tried to reach this firm, they did not return the call at all.  I found the work acceptable but was unwilling to work with the company again due to lack of responsiveness. <br />

Pulled all of the weeds out, cleaned up all of the leaves in both the front and back yard. <br />

Very cordial people who worked continuously. I'll use them again for sundry work around the property.

He completed about half of it and left a huge mess.  I sent him an email to get him to complete the job, as I had already paid for the entire job up front.  After the email, he said he wanted to charge me another $300 to finish the job.  He came out to do the job on a Saturday.  He started at 11 and finished at 6.  I was eating dinner so I did not go out and inspect the work.  He had originally told me the retaining wall would need about 150 blocks.  This is the same quote I had gotten from other contractors as well.  When he "finished" the job, there were still 30 blocks left, so I knew immediately something was wrong.  He also placed the dirt in front of the wall, when it was supposed to go behind in order to work properly.  I ended up having another company complete the job.

They arrived on time and did much of what I wanted; however, they did not do it all.  I asked them to pick up some plants and they did; however, they charged me $90 for 5 plants and did not give me a receipt for the plants OR for the work they did.  They said they would email my receipt it to me and they never did.  I continue to wonder how five plants could cost $90.    <br /> The company consists of 3 guys who do the work.  That means, there is no one in the office to answer phone calls.  It also means that it takes a long time to reach them.    <br /> They are not responsive to phone calls and they don't know much about landscaping or plants.  They are probably best suited to mowing and edging.   They are not professional.   <br /> I made the mistake of assuming that since they had a special and were a vendor on Angie's list that they are good.  WRONG.  Now I know to always check to see what others say about the company -- especially if they are offering a special.   <br /> Note that I am not sure of the cost of the service, and I don't have a receipt, so . . .  <br /> Recommendation -- remove them from Angie's List OR list them under lawn mowing -- never under landscaping. <br />

I hired them for the fall yard clean up. (I can't find my payment info, so cost is an estimate.) <br />
