Gus Mendez, the owner, was amazing. This was a very complex project repairing cracks in our living/dining room foundation. More extensive problems were discovered as the original 35 y/o foundation was poorly done. Gus figured it all out, removed the old foundation and the 8" of wet dirt underneath and replaced with 8" gravel, then rebar grid at 12", then new concrete and tile. Gus was a highly creative technical engineer and problem solver, and with a highly artistic/esthetic sense. There was really no one else who could have done this, as the only other company that does this had an insufficient assessment for the bid. See photos for the process and outcome.

Gus did an excellent job, on time at a competitive price. I will be hiring Sandia Vista Const. company for additional work and strongly recommend Gus.

This window project went very well! The attention to detail was impressive. He took his time to make sure everything was aligned exactly, well insulated and looking perfect. If you are looking for something done quick and cheap, this is not your guy. If you hire Sandia Vista, do not expect it to be rushed. However, expect it to be done correctly, with high quality AND looking great!

Very pleased with work Gus did. He was involved with much of the work himself. Quick demolition, nice job on new patio. Came out several times to prepare concrete for sealing. Used 2 coats to seal slab. He will also be installing a patio cover for me in the next month.

It went wonderfully. They worked with high quality. I would definitely have them back again and its a second time did the huge project for us. They took their time, they did not rush.

They were very timely, very good service and very good workers.

Everything went smoothly. Took a couple of days. Everything what had to be cleaned was cleaned at the end of each day. Everyone was polite. My phone calls/emails were returned in a timely manner and all my questions were answered. .Regardless challenging weather, the result is excellent. My neighbors are happy as well. I will certainly hire this company again and I highly recommend their service. Price was also very reasonable.

Gus is at or below the lower prices for concrete work in our area. His estimate did not include taking out dirt found when he removed the driveway and found it was only 3 inches thick, not 4, or for wire reinforcement under the drive, which we wanted, and he added. Other small finds of this type changed the final price upward by about 10%. But we are delighted with the quality of the work done, on the concrete and on the walls. Could not be happier with the work. He is somewhat of a perfectionist. He does seem to over schedule himself or be overly optimistic about the time he will show up. That said, he finished a triple wide driveway, plus the neighbor's, and did wall work on 3 sides of our house in about a week.

It went VERY well. I started out wanting a basic concrete patio and wound up with a beautiful colored, stamped & sealed patio. It matches the Sandia Mtns when the sun sets! It has a nice texture and everyone was so impressed at my son's graduation party. It took a little longer than I wanted (which was why punctuality didn't receive an A). On the other hand, I understand that quality takes time and being patient was totally worth it. They did a great job!

Sandia Vista's owner, Gus, responded quickly to my call.  We set up a meeting to see what needed to be done.  He provided a quote by e-mail the next day.  We talked again, and I accepted his quote.  He scheduled the work around my schedule so I could be at the house if I was needed for any reason.  The block was finished in one afternoon - then I decided to add another section.  That work was done in one afternoon.  The stucco work was finished after the block work.  All in all, it was a very pleasant experience.  I can assure you that if I need any work done in the future, I will call Sandia Vista Construction. <br />
