The system is remarkable. Now we rarely go out to movies since our home theater is so crisp and the sound is amazing. The customer service is prompt. Once our power went out and Javier immediately texted me to be sure the system was functioning. I highly recommend this company.

Installation of two 65" televisions and sound bars, wall mounted. Nicely done, however a little negligent on the cleanup. Since I was not present during the installation I'm not sure why the packing materials were left in the bedroom, however this wouldn't prevent me from using this company again.

Javier did an AWESOME job installing our Samsung Frame TV. Our installation was tricky because we needed the frame tv installed on a swivel mount but also wanted it flush with the wall. Javier knew exactly what to do and you could tell he is very knowledgeable. We use this TV every day and the TV and mount work fabulously. Would absolutely recommend!

It went good they came over when they’re supposed to finish the job in two or three hours and then in the afternoon and Javier came over to show me how to do everything

Javier and his team are absolutely amazing! We've used Javier multiple times now, most recently on our new house for a 75" Frame TV and mount (which is not easy given the new mounting system), multiple other TV mounts, and a whole in-ceiling AV speaker system. Everything is always done flawlessly, they take their time to ensure things are perfect, use the highest quality equipment, always get creative whenever they hit an obstacle, and are such a pleasure to work with. Their prices are beyond fair for the world-class quality you get before, during, and after their work is done. I would recommend Javier and team with the highest regard and integrity. A respected, reliable contractor referred me to Javier/San Diego Home Theater- he said he had worked with Javier for years. My experience with San Diego Home Theater was one of the best experiences I have had during a cosmetic remodel. Javier was responsive to all calls, texts and questions. He provided a prompt, descriptive estimate. I had little knowledge of the technology, he was patient and helped me understand what would be best in my home. The installation process was equally as smooth. He even took the time to set up a replacement cable box and my sons PlayStation. I highly recommend and would be happy to be a resource for anyone with questions.

The overall was okay: Work itself was good. I think. When I noted some possible problems and asked Javier to stop by, assess his work, he said something about stopping by when he was in the area, then never got back. In addition, Javier's co-worker broke a security camera in the attic, then denied breaking it until I showed Javier video proof. Javier put off reimbursing me for months, then sent a check after I posted a review noting the reimbursement issue. This, accompanied by a request from Javier that I write a review reflecting his reimbursement. Thus, this review. I like Javier and his technical work is pretty good, but his customer service/follow through for me has not kept up.

We recently redid our home theater system. The work was done by a private technician that we had used a number of times. There was an ongoing connectivity problem with Direct TV that he could not resolve. We were referred to Javier at SDHTD and he corrected the problem in a short period of time and the problem has not returned. Javier is our new tech guru. We recommend him very highly

I have used Javier 5 years ago in my condo and when I moved recently I was very happy to use his services again. He is extremely knowledgeable and helped me to select the right A/V equipment for my house. We made the big decision to cut the cord on cable/satellite and he helped to set up an excellent internet coverage in the house too. He hung our TV (including completely hidden wires) and set up great sound system. I appreciate that he worked with me to make a recommendation based upon what we think we need today and in the future as I want to expand (ie spend more money). He handled supplying the equipment and his pricing is very fair. He was there on time and did what we asked of him. I highly recommend.

Javier and Allen did a great job. The job was finished in a timely fashion and done professionally. They also worked around our office schedule and did the install after hours. They had all the tools they needed and had parts available for situations where installation was not as straight forward.

When the system was first installed we agreed that they would return when the factory got updated codes for the remote. Its been three years and I finally get Javier out to my house. He walks in sits down on my couch pulls out his equipment. AT this time he ;looks at my remote and proceeds to tell me that if he plugs in my remote their is a 50/50 chance my remote will never work again. BTW I would be on the hook for it. Couldn't tell me that for the last year I've been calling? Thats because he couldn't find my paperwork and he dosn't know which of his employees sold it to me. I asked him what kind of company he was running/ owned and kindly showed him the door. BUYER BEWARE

"After 3 year Mr [Member Name Removed] called and communicated [Member Information Removed] text to me about scheduling someone to come out and program his remote. I scheduled him less then 4 days from the text coming through, I had not records of his invoice nor quote but still went out to see how I could fix his problem. I told him I had a stop before him and gave him a two hour window for my arrival and a curiosity call to inform him when I would be on my way. After arriving i notice that the remote was one that I had encounter problems with in the past and I had spoken to the manufacture about. I then informed him about this issue. and he then started to raised his voice at me and I kindly was trying to explain to that the remote was 4 plus year old and I was just informing him. He then started to yell and told me to get out. So for my safety, I packed up my laptop and apologized in behalf of the manufacture and left."
