We are a San Diego woman-owned company with a WQA Certified Water Quality specialist on staff and the proper C55 contractor's license for water treatment installation. Our systems are built locally and specifically for the water entering your home. Unlike other companies, we offer all different types of filtration to fit your needs and budget; including salt or salt-free softening, heavy-metals removal, under-sink reverse osmosis, whole house reverse osmosis, well water filtration and different levels of carbon filtration. San Diego Pure Water also offers water treatment solutions for medical, commercial, agricultural, and industrial applications. In addition, we offer a beautiful collection of water cooler - reverse osmosis combos to save offices on costly water bottle delivery. While standard and even the most expensive whole house water filters available here in San Diego can effectively remove Chlorine, Chloramines require a much greater contact time and special highly refined catalytic carbon to be entirely removed. ​ San Diego Pure Water’s line of whole house water filtration systems are specifically designed for our San Diego water supply. We use a unique catalytic carbon specifically made for chloramine removal. This carbon is highly effective out-performing all other carbons and coal-based catalytic carbons. In addition to chloramine removal, it is also highly effective at removing VOC's, taste and odor, hydrogen sulfide, pesticides, and pharmaceuticals. Our water softener broke unexpectedly. We were able to get a pro out the same day to inspect it and schedule a full replacement three days later. They were on time, super communicative and even took the liberty of grounding some wires and going a little above and beyond what we expected.

Bob Fadem  convinced  me  to get the system installed  before I went on a short trip. The outside filter for the whole house he initially placed 4 feet from the fence and ran pipes everywhere.  I asked why and he claimed I had pavers stored there.  I said forever?  We had discussed it be by the fence and neat.  He moved it but of course left holes in my stucco which he said he would send someone to repair, he never did, I had it repaired myself. The RO system is under the sink,   I was wary as a friend of mine had her house flood when she changed her filters and left town.  He GUARANTEED me it would NOT leak! Of course it DID.  Fortunately I was only gone a few days and checked it upon my return, it was a slow leak but non the less a leak.  He came to repair it, but never offered an apology!  He had an attitude as if I caused the leak.  His sale on the RO is it has cartridges that restore the minerals, and it is the only way to reduce the TDS, I used a home test kit and my RO TDS  is still at 80, it should be much lower, he claims its the minerals the system put back in.   My RO water does not taste fresh and good.  I spoke to him about that and he said he would put another cartridge on that improves the taste and send someone over to test the water but of course has never followed through.  All in all he sells you with a bunch of technical  jargon and always a story about some well somewhere he works on but I have no faith my water is any better than it was from the city.  I would not recommend San Diego Pure Water  I have given up contacting him. He claimed they would replace the RO filters every year, who knows maybe Ill see someone in July and then again maybe not. <br />
