John and his men did a beautiful job on our master bedroom floor! Once we contacted him he arrived at our house 2 days later and provided us with an estimate quickly. He managed to slot us in the following week. He told us it would be 4 days and he finished the work promptly. His price estimate never changed and that is what I paid. I would highly recommend the Sandman for all your wood flooring needs!

Both are well over 100 years old, the floors were badly damaged, and he made them look amazing! Beautiful natural pine floors make any room look special. I did the research, and he is definitely the best choice for this kind of work and a high quality investment in your older home.

John was recommended by a realtor friend and I am glad she did. He answered the phone on the first call and came out two days later to give an estimate. As promised he gave us a quote that same night that was very reasonable compared to two others we had gotten previously. The job was refinishing wood floors in pretty much our whole house. There was some repair and patching in a few spots. He removed and hauled away old carpet. It was done in two phases with a lot of furniture moving that he and his partner handled for us. He showed up on time every morning (even during a major snow storm) and communicated regularly via text. He and his partner took great care with our house and the finished floors are absolutely beautiful. We had been waiting years to do this project and the end product is everything we had hoped for.

He was great loved the work he did and the customer service was exceptional, transformed my floors, would hire him again in the future for any flooring needs. The before and after speaks for itself. Not to mention a very quick estimate fair price and quick turnaround!

John and Chris did a fantastic job on the floors in our 124 year old home (a 1900 Victorian). Over the years, some shoddy repairs and replacements had been done and they worked hard to ensure the quality of the floors remained in-tact and to match the stain amongst different types of wood. John was open to our ideas and suggestions when we initally struggled with how to stain match them, but did an outstanding job mixing stains to get it done. We're so happy we went with them and would absolutely hire them again in the future!

When I tell you these guys are pros, they are pros. I love having referrals instead of big companies and Sandman was one of the best referrals we've ever had. They have done two of our floors and both look amazing. The first floor was a re-finish of an existing floor and the other was tearing out the entire floor and starting from the floorboards. Their process is fantastic and they usually finish one floor in about 4 days. They are also great at communication and John let's you know where you are at in the process at all times. If you want your hardwood floor done right, this is the company you want to do it. If we ever need our floors done again, I will be calling them out. On top of their great work, they are extremely nice, polite, and they will let you know when they need something. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!

Janos was amazing! He contacted me immediately to see how he could help and scheduled an appointment quickly to see what I wanted done. He complimented our existing red oak floor and recommended sanding/staining the existing floor. I had a sub-floor in the dining room that was covered in carpet and surrounded by hardwood that I needed fixed with hardwood. He made suggestions on how this area could be fixed. He scheduled time for the work and kept the dates. Janos and his partner arrived on time each day and worked thoroughly. They were very considerate and professional. He did a wonderful job on the dining room area that I was so concerned about by framing around the area in way that makes the floor look seamless. The work he did in that room was truly artistic and displayed amazing craftsmanship. The feel and look of the flooring is better than I expected. The sanding made the floors look and feel brand new. The staining brought warmth to the existing hardwood which is exactly what I hoped for. I would recommend Janos to anyone!

John did an excellent job of refinishing the hardwood floors in a house I just purchased in Lakewood. They took out the old carpet upstairs which revealed an old Lakewood hardwood floor with some rough spots. After John finished the job you would not be able to tell anything was wrong. I am very satisfied with the end result. John was also very easy to work with - I left a lockbox at the house and had complete peace of mind. Would definitely recommend John and his team for any flooring job.

Janos and Tibi did a very good job. Janos explained each step of the process. It was very difficult to choose the stain, but Janos helped with this as well. My floor turned out beautifully. They work nicely and cleanly and, most importantly, they are accurate and you can count on them. I can only recommend them to everyone because they do professional work.

Tibi and his crew are great, very kind and professional. Tibi gave a fair estimate, always showed up on time, and did great work. The hardest part is choosing what stain to go with after they sand your floors and put down some sample colors (ended up choosing dark walnut on my red oak floors). They were also very good at not getting stain all over the white baseboard/door trim. Highly recommend and would hire again.

Tibi and his crew did a great job redoing my hardwood floors. They were very professional and informative about redoing the floors. My floors were from the 1960s, and they were severely scratched and damaged. They literally look brand new. I would highly recommend.
