They were way beyond my expectations. Although we have a small home, we were treated as though we were owners of a large commercial company from the very beginning of the process. We were provided a written and very concise estimate. After approval, they conducted pre-construction meetings, and final project completion meeting and a walk though. Their product and service comes with an extensive warranty. We had the first phase of our roof (multi-level) completed during very inclement weather....18 degrees not considering wind chill. At every step in the project, the manager and crew reported exactly at the promised date and time. Phase I seems to have addressed the multiple leaks we were having. Phase II will be to complete the re-roofing, but we're waiting for more suitable weather. I would recommend this company to anyone needing roof repairs and stuccoing. They also do leak repairs to the interior of the house.

They did a great job of cleaning the roof and applying the Gaco. They found some wet spots in the foam, cut it away and repaired the areas at no extra charge. They had done stucco work for me before and did a great job. In the future, I will call them again for roofing or stucco work. They do good quality work and are the best contractor to use for this kind of work. The reason I gave them a B rating rather than an A for the overall work, is because they could have done a better job of cleaning up and following up on details. For example, we agreed they would have our satellite TV working at the end of everyday when they had to move the dish to work under it. I had to call after the workers had left and had them come back to fix the dish. I had to call them several times to come back to clean up. They were always good about coming back, but I should not of had to call them. The foreman and project manager should of had the crew do these tasks without me pointing them out to them. Overall I was happy with the work and would hire them again.

They did a meticulous job, were respectful of my plantings, the price was right, came right on time, and explained everything. They did some patches on my courtyard wall where it didn't need a whole new layer and the matching was so perfect I literally can't see the patches. I joined Angie's list just so I could give this review.

It turned out fine. I had to travel back to the East Coast to visit some some other family. Then I came back and left a friend in charge of monitoring the install after I returned to Alaska. They did the work after the fact of me being there. <br /> <br /> From the pictures that my friend took of their work, there was only 1 problem. But they came back and repaired it. I guess the supervisor came back and did a walk over after his crew did the work and he cleaned it up. They also advised me of some other work that needs to be done and that turned out pretty good too as far as the estimate. They will probably do it this summer. I plan on using them again on the stucco work. <br /> <br />

Scheduling of the work was problematic: after scheduling the start date, they wanted to start earlier, and then on the arranged day of work the crew didn't show because of illness. There was also problems of communication between the estimator and the work crew: inadequate supplies. The repair work was thorough although sloop in places. The cost was high considering the scope of work.

We have had a two-year nightmare with this company. We selected the middle-priced bid and, combined with the high reviews on Angie's List, felt very good about selecting this roofer. Boy, were we wrong. We have a flat roof typical of Santa Fe homes. The roof was installed hastily, with no attention to detail. The roof was installed with no taper. So water just pools on the roof. Since the installation, we have had at least 5 leaks, one of which destroyed the brand new drywall ceiling in our kitchen. The skylight leaked twice. In fixing the skylight, they left a drip of roofing glue that remains visible on the surround. They also never came back to complete the drywall around the skylight. <br>Each time the roof leaked, they would come back with promises to fix it completely. But instead they would patch it up in the spot where it was leaking, and then of course it would leak again in that spot or somewhere else because the overall problem had not been solved. At one point, the owner said he would spray a white sealant over the entire roof for free, rather than redoing the roof which is what needs to be done. This does not fix the water pooling and standing on the roof, but at least would fix the leaks. We agreed to this "compromise." Well, in typical fashion for this company, they came and coated part of the roof but never finished. In addition, the roofer's dumpster broke our sidewalk. They also promised they would paint our kitchen ceiling because of the drywall destruction, but never did. The ceiling is still unsightly. The drywall around the skylight is unfinished. Our sidewalk is cracked. One of the leaks destroyed a bunch of my kids' artwork. And our roof still has pooling water whenever it rains or snow melts. After many calls and requests and broken promises, I am very frustrated and feel duped. <br>I would suggest avoiding this company at all costs. And if you have a flat roof on your home, insist on a taper. <br>

The crew arrived on time and carefully inspected the roof and addressed all issues - including several I hadn't detected. And, then wonder of wonders, Santa Fe Stucco & Roofing called back within an hour to check with us about the service. We are very happy with the service provided!

We had a leak in our flat-roof. Santa Fe Stucco and Roofing, which had the earliest availability, came out and recommended replacing the entire living room roof (which is separated from other roof areas by a parapet). We agreed, and the work began in a timely manner and proceeded on schedule. At the time of the original visit, it was also recommended that we replace the entire roof in the near future. Agreeing with the assessment, and seeing how the work on the living room roof went, we signed a new agreement for that. First, all contact with the people at Santa Fe Stucco and Roofing went very well. They were courteous and responsive, the area was left clean, and when I had issues (an area that had been overlooked, some minor problems with the coating), they had someone out very soon. We do have an unexpected problem, which others might want to be aware of. The sample of the Gaco product was soft, and 1/10 inch thick. On our roof, the Gaco surface is much thinner, relatively hard (there is foam beneath), and slick. The thickness was addressed by the owner and person who had given us the first estimate and worked with us thereon, though I never fully understood that explanation. The reason the rest matters is noise. Unlike gravel over foam, which we had, or torch-down or other alternatives, which many of our neighbors have (all of whom have flat roofs), Ours is now loud. In the wind, small twigs and other roof debris slide around creating quite a disturbance: we had next-door neighbors visiting when the wind picked up; they were certain a car was coming down our gravel driveway. Our neighbors have torch-down. An insignificant rainfall sounds, from in the house, like a significant break in the drought; a nice, soaking rain forces us to turn off the TV, the stereo, the radio. I would use Santa Fe Stucco and Roofing again, but not the Gaco product, unless it was over a new foam or other insulator, and unless it had the surface and texture of the sample we were presented.
