We hired Santana Woodwork to replace (2) kitchen cabinets. One that was breaking and one just needed to be smaller in order to accommodate a larger refrigerator. Since we have wood cabinets in good condition we didn’t want to replace all of the cabinets or have the wood covered over with a laminate. Our maple wood cabinets are 20 years old therefore; they have changed color over the years so this was a difficult task. Other companies said they would not be able to match the cabinets and we would need all new cabinets or put a laminate over them. Fernando was able to replace the cabinets and match the color perfectly. We saved thousands of dollars by not having to purchase all new cabinets. No one that has come over was able to tell which two cabinets have been replaced. We also had him put end panels on the cabinets and I don’t know how he was able to match the cabinet profile exactly like the cabinet doors, but he did. He’s very knowledgeable and a master of his craft along with being a very nice person. He always came the day he said he would be there and was on time. I would highly recommend him to anyone needing any type of woodwork and I will definitely hire him again for any future projects.

I can't say enough abought about Fernando and Santana Woodwork. He sat with us for hours and helped us design a set of complicated cabinet units that we had not been able to figure out on our own. He was patient and innovative. The final product is beyond our expectations. He also built in a long wall of bookshelves for us. His attention to detail is amazing. At the end he spent about 3 hours getting the crown molding to fit a very difficult angle perfectly. I not only would use him again, I have several projects in mind.

Very well. We had a built in entertainment center with a useless space for T V. He created a bar and matched the style and color perfectly

I can't say enough about the quality work from Fernando. Not only is he modest and considerate, he also provided some great design feedback coming from his years of experience. The quality of his work is unparalleled and we couldn't be happier with the results of the bedroom closet. We've used others in the past (who were more expensive) and regretted the decision. You will not go wrong hiring him. I couldn't give a higher recommendation and already have plans for my next project. He is a true craftsman which is truly hard to find these days. I've have never been let down yet with his services and couldn't be happier!

I am very happy with the work that Fernando performed. After explaining to him what I wanted to have done, he gave me a quote and after agreeing on the price, we set a date for the installation. The installation was a couple of day's work for him. Fernando always showed up at the agreed time, was unintrusive and worked very cleanly. Given the good job that he did with the initial project, I gave him a couple of smaller jobs, which were also carried out in professional and timely manner. I will Fernando again when I have some other cabinet / carpentry work to be done.

I was very happy with the end result. Fernando worked very well with my design. We did quite a bit of back and forth , but he was responsive and asked questions. HE was responsable and overall did very good work. i would recommend fernando.

Fernando took the measurements, ordered materials as needed, matched the stain with existing furniture, in a highly professional, rational and reasonable manner... all done on time, as discussed and expected.  I never felt like this was a rush job or just another job.  I am pleased with the final results, and how it was handled all the way through.  Quality takes a combination of materials and labor, and we got what we wanted, expected and paid for.  I do plan to seek Fernando's assistance with other cabinet and closet projects in the near future.

I cannot say enough good things about Fernando! We hired him to build a custom library that I designed. I showed him pictures of what I was looking for and he sketched it. The design had to be tweaked and I was nervous the whole time because most people want cookie cutter similar looking bookshelves with cabinets and I wasn't sure how the library would turn out. Fernando did the most amazing job! I am blown away by how he listened to what I wanted and gave me it exactly! He is a true professional from start to finish. He was quick to give a quote and the turnaround time to having the whole library built and installed was very reasonable. He is also a trustworthy gentleman who I was completely comfortable with in my home and around my family (this cannot be said for many people I have had do work in my home). We were so impressed with Fernando that we have found other projects in our home to hire him for. And I have recommended him to many friends! Trust me, Fernando is the best!

Fernando did a fantastic job.  He turned the project around very quickly from quote to installation.  The price was to quote and all steps went precisely as he explained.  The finished product was exactly what we wanted.  Fernando was very professional and courteous.  And best of all, my wife loves her new pull out shelves.  What else can I say.  I would definitely use Fernando again and highly recommend him for any cabinet related projects you might have. <br />

Excellent. Very prompt and attentive. Even though our job was just a small job, fixing one cabinet. Mr Santana traveled all the way from Broadway County to our home in Coral Gables, examined the cabinet and gave us an estimate, then returned within less than a week with the parts needed to fix the mechanism. He was very professional, punctual and knowledgable of his job. I will defenetily recommend him and use him again. <br />

<p>Fernando was on time for our each visit.  I had a drawing of what I wanted to do in my bedroom. He provided suggestions and gave me a quote shortly thereafter.  He made/installed two 75" w x 100" h cabinets with sliding doors and upper storage and a 120" window seat with drawer storage all in a shaker design.   His work was beautiful. My master bedroom is now GORGEOUS!  My husband and I are thrilled.</p> <p>Thank you Fernando!</p>

Mr Santana took careful measurements, made suggestions, and involved me in the design process.  The finished products are BEAUTIFUL and display his highly skilled CRAFTSMANSHIP.  I enjoyed working with him and I will most definitely ask him to construct cabinetry for other projects in the near future.  He is not only skilled but is also very polite and professional. <br />

Fernando was a pleasure to deal with.  He responded to my call and set an appointment to review the work.  He was punctual, polite and professional.  I had originally sought to have him install pull outs that I was going to purchase online.  After seeing the project he asked if he could quote it as custom built.  I received his quote later the same day.  His quote was very similar to what purchasing online was going to run by the time I paid for installation and had the advantage of being custom fit to every opening as well as some custom features we were able to integrate into the design.  I had received two other quotes and Fernando's was by far the better deal. <br /> Once the drawers were built we scheduled an installation time and again he arrived punctually.  He adjusted one particular setup where we wanting to use it in a particular way for pots, pans and lids storage.  The area was tight and required a good deal of effort to avoid gas lines and electrical wiring.  He was patient and creative and the end result works perfectly.  He was meticulous in the entire installation making certain that everything was plumb and that drawers worked perfectly with full extension - soft close glides.  The end result was great. <br /> He is doing similar pullouts for the master vanity and is quoting a custom built buffet for our dining room. Fernando is a craftsman.  I highly recommend him. <br />

It went fantastic.  It did take quite a bit longer than the first estimate.  Learn it, love it, live it...  It's gonna be late, but that's normal for ALL builders.  It is what it is. <br />

The price was right and fair. He was pretty good. I have no complaints. My overall experience with him was good. The quality of work was good. With regard to responsiveness, he did respond to my needs.

Fantastic. Punctual professional. High quality work. When something wasn't. perfect redid the work Measured measured and measured again to make sure all was perfect. Went above and beyond. Had two other estimates. His was in between and was worth every penny. Redesigned cabinets to include corner cab and pull out drawers from lower cabinets including under the sink. He is a gentleman. We were away when he stared putting the cabinets in and we gave him a key to access the house. We had alerted the neighbors and he went to the neighbors to let them know he was at our house to work. I would not hesitate to recommend him to anyone and I would have him do more work for us as we need <br />

Fernando was responsive, punctual, professional.  If he said he would call he did, if he said he was going to arrive at a certain hour he did, and if he said the bookshelf would take a week it did. The bookshelf is beautiful and I will use him again. <br />
