Saving Septics

Tried to upsell by suggesting tank was overfull (it wasn't), suggested lead line from septic was damaged and should be replaced (it wasn't). They tried to turn a few hundred dollar routine service into an unnecessary $10k project.

The company arrive on time, gave us a fair price, way lower than the first company ,and information on how to take care of our system. They are highly knowledgeable with 23 yrs /17 yrs of experience and also friendly. We highly recommend them to keep your septic tank running smoothly to avoid costly repair later, have them maintain yours. Thank you guys.

Customers, beware!!! As several other reviewers said, the price changes from $399 to $700 plus, the minute they open your tank!! I contacted Saving Septics to get a quote to find and pump our septic tank. I spoke with Melinda and I explained to her that our home was new to us and we were not exactly sure where the tank was. She quoted me $399 to find and pump our 1000 gallon tank. They cancelled 20 mins after the scheduled time they were supposed to come out but Nate showed up to our home the next day to provide the service. He poked around in a specific area of our yard for a few minutes then said that he was 95% sure that he had found the tank. He asked if it was okay to dig in that spot and I told him yes. After a few minutes of digging, Nate said that he was wrong it was rocks that he felt. At that point, he used a flushable transmitter and found the tank several feet from the first hole that he dug. He dug another hole over the tank and opened the lid. He immediately started to "build his case" for his outrageous price hike that was about the come. He said by just looking at the the waste in the tank it's possible that we might need a new tank and lines WOW!! He said it will be $900 to pump the tank. I asked Nate, how could $399 suddenly turn into $900 to pump a tank?!? He said because it had excessive solids but he can do it for $700. I had no other option than to continue as they were still going to charge me $399 without pumping, there 2 big holes in my yard and I had already taken time off from work for 2 days to get it done. Nate took 10 minutes to simply insert the hose and completely pump the tank. No extra work needed. I asked him about the condition of the tank and lines now that the waste was gone and he said it was very good!!! Then why did $399 change to $700!!?? HUGE SCAM!!! I called Melinda to ask for an explanation of the $700 invoice. When she provided the quote she never said that according to perceived consistency of the waste, the price can go up even though no additional services are being rendered. She did not have a logical response for me. She said that Nate will call me. I'm still waiting on Nate's call.

Did a great job on the replacement last year. Had a problem again a few days ago. They were here within hours, made the repairs & UPGRADED the system, completed and had me back in service same day. All at no cost... Saving Septics provides World Class customer service, fair prices, superior workmanship, excellent value, and prompt response time. I am a DELIGHTED customer of theirs and would use no one else to service my septic system. I Trust Jimmy and his family...
