Exterior Painting and Staining Service
They hardy shingled my whole house, painted and repaired exterior of the home, and added a new deck. They communicated with me and showed me step by step what they were going to do and what needed to be done. Gregory, the carpenter, was incredible - everything was done right and I didn't have to worry about them cutting corners. Derek was honest and reliable. I couldn't recommend them enough and would never have anyone else work on my house in the future. I am going to rehire them to paint the interior of my home next. They did an amazing job - You wouldn't even know it's the same house! Pictures of the home. Pictures before and after. Pictures don't include the lattice work done too!

Schmidt Painting is our go to for all our painting and handyman work on our house. They have done a ton of work for us and are excellent! They also come up with many ideas for improvements that save us money and produce better results. I recommend them completely!!

We were very satisfied with Schmidt Painting. What began as a consult with Derrick regarding our dissatisfaction with the previous paint job on the front of the house (years earlier) turned into my hiring his company to not only repair the front of the house, but strip and paint the entire house–and shed! We're very satisfied with their quality of work, choice of product line, and expertise. Highly recommend!

Job was done well and we were very appreciative that we had to do zero prep. To paint all the walls throughout the house, they moved all wall hangings and furniture, which were returned to original positions at completion of job. They were very responsive and easy to communicate with.

I have been using Schmidt Painting since 2011, when we first bought our current home. They have done a great job every time - both inside and outside painting. We are very pleased with their professional work, and the team is courteous and accommodating. They show up on time, and they clean up afterwards perfectly. I have recommended Schmidt painting to many other people because we are so happy with the work they do.

Derrick and his crew always do great work. I rely on them for so many projects. From the smallest issue like a crack in a shed that rodents can get through to re-shingling the side of my house. He is so experienced and great to work with and we have never been disappointed.

i have used derrick and schmidt painting for more than one project. I am a homeowner, and a project manager for a couple properties. I used derrick at MY home for gutter cleaning and placement of leaf filters. I used them also, for a painting project. they came in at less than even my close friend, and did an excellent job. They are on speed dial for other projects

Our house was in need of repair. We needed to replace rotted siding, rotted trim and repainted. The quote was fair and the workers were on time, polite and cleaned up each day before they left. Derrick and his team were great.

Derrick and his crew are true professionals. I've used them for interior an dexterior work and in both situations they finished on time, on budget and the results could be better. Pricing is more than competetive and the job is always done right. My highest recommendation go out to him and his crew

Derrick Schmidt did a first class job for us. We were very happy with the work. It is so hard to find good carpenters and painters in Provincetown. I would recommend Derrick with the highest praise.
Response from Schmidt Painting
"Wow thanks for the glowing review. We are willing to travel out to Provincetown anytime except Friday and Saturday but that's just because of traffic. Thanks for having us paint for you again."

Derrick was very professionL. He arrived on time and spent time explaining how he was going to revamp our deck. In his estimate, he showed us how we could even save money. Before the job, he sent us an estimate that was more than acceptable. The job was so well done that we rehired him to replace our bulkhead. Again, nothing but great work. We highly recommend Derrick!
