Awesome job! Chris is very knowledgeable. He came and fixed the issue immediately. He also showed some tips on pool maintenance and care. Definitely will call him again for any pool issue!

He was able to come out the next day after I called. He ran a little late, but called to tell me that his last job was taking longer that he estimated. He showed up with all necessary parts and did the replacement. It started raining while he was working but he soldiered on. I moved my patio umbrella to shelter him from the rain. He did the job quickly and efficiently and the motor has being working for about a month now with no issues.

Chris showed up right on time. He promptly diagnosed the problem and corrected it. he then voluntered to vacuum pool to verify it all worked great. He provided clear instructions on how to avoid the problem in the future. No hidden extra cost, just original quoted visit. He also gave a senior discount. I will use him again if other issues arise.

We moved in with my husbands mother to take care of her. The inground pool was pretty cloudy. I have never had to deal with a pool and my husband didnt know how either. The pool was put in after kids grew up. I struggled for 2 years with this pool, green water and then black algae set in. I googled everything I could and learned a lot but not enough to clean this pool up. I had people come look at it and to price a clean up. Some people didnt want to fool with it or the price was crazy high. My daughter used Chris, she told me he got rid of her black algae so I called and Chris came right out, he quoted me a price I could live with and I have never seen this pool look this good. Not only that, Chris had patience to tell me all about algae, why things do what they do, processes and how to maintain the pool to where I could understand. We are very happy with the work Chris did. I highly recommend.

Excellent work at a reasonable price, and quick to respond! Chris Schomburg responded quickly to my request on Angie's List. I had taken two pictures of the pool pump and motor that I text him. This worked great because Chris brought the exact replacement motor and all was finished quickly with one visit. Chris is very knowledgeable and does excellent work.

Fabulous service! I knew my pool motor was dying so I contacted Chris. He diagnosed the problem over the phone, purchased the motor, and replaced it the following day! While he was there he educated me on pump maintenance and fixed my valve for free (saved me 100 bucks). He’s the last of the true pool service guys. I’ve waisted time and money with Butcher’s pool for a long time - the experienced guys retired or quit after the new owner came in.

Pump now runs properly, but the project still needs work after the weather drys up the pool needs to be drained and cleaned before running the pump to test the system.

Chris was able to fit us into his schedule the next day. We had replaced our pump in the early summer. Luckily it was under warranty; however, the new one did not work either that was overnighted from Dallas with Grainger. Chris went the extra mile and was able to take it in and get a working one, just in time for family gatherings. He was fantastic! He is our pool service guy!

Went from murky green to crystal blue

They were wonderful. I'd give them an A+ if I could. They came out and they could tell what was wrong by the sound of my pump. It's like some people can look under the hood of your car and say, "This doesn't sound right," he could tell. It took about two days for the changes he made to take effect, but it turned my green pool to tropical blue. And plus, it's like since it wasn't working efficiently, so he tuned it up, basically. It's awesome. Now I can manage it much easier on my own. He was very quick to respond to my request, too. His price was an A because it was worth what he charged. It was $500 because there were some pretty serious issue with my pump. I was going to have come out in May. I need him to work on my heater. The other people I've seen who work on pools are like kids with a part-time job. This is an adult man who's been doing this his whole life. He definitely knew what he was doing. He charges you for his time and he's worth his time.

Chris is awesome. He's quick to respond and always offers a very reasonable cost for repairs. I know I can always count on him! Highly recommend.

Very well....Chris did a great job, we'd use again.

1) On a Wednesday I called my " goto " company pool company and the person who answered was like, yeah, yeah, yeah, whatever, Slim will be in Monday and I'll tell him you called. 2) Ah, *** wrong attitude *** buddy, especially with a 6+ year customer who always called ONLY you. 3) I jumped on Angie's List like I always do and just like Amazon and Yelp, you NEVER see anyone with a zillion 5 stars COMBINED with more than 10 or so reviewers. 4) Schomburg Pools has 60+ A's and 1 F ( ? ) 5) Are you kidding ( ? ) The only plausible explanation is the guy with the F rating must have dialed the wrong number. 6) I called, some guy named Chris answers, I whine my steady repairman broke up with me and describe the work I'd like performed and ask when do you think you could fit me into your schedule. 7) Chris came by the next day to perform a site survey to review everything and give me a quote for parts and labor. 8) Cringing I asked when he could start and he said tomorrow ( ! ) 9) For all the work I had performed Chris knocked out the pumps, spa blower, and had the wireless system online in one day. 10) Over the next several days as he dropped chemicals into the pool and let them cook overnight, when he showed up the next day he worked on the pool lights and and other very minor items. 11) From start to finish with me grinning ear-to-ear controlling my pool with an iPad was only 4 to 6 days. Like I said, I'm ashamed of myself for just now writing the review so I can't remember if it was 4 or 5 days. Happy, happy camper. I'd buy anything this guy was selling if for no other reason that he treated me exactly like I treat my customers: 1) With courtesy and honesty. 2) Promptly. 3) Acted like he wanted my business at all times. 4) Warm and friendly and professional.

I will definitely be a repeat customer

He Immediately tested the water, added chemicals, and pool was remarkably improved by the next morning. I had asked about upgrading to a multi port valve to my sand filter. He was able to replumb/pipe and in three days...pool been clear since. I am out of their weekly service area, darn, most of all, the upgraded valve was reasonable! Love the new valve, like the "waste water" options and the site port to see the water!
