Scott Richard Masonry Work & Repair

Very well. Job was started and completed on time. Workers are very professional and they cleaned all areas upon completion.

Scott came out and quoted and was competitive with the other quotes I received.  I felt that Scott seemed to have the most experience and inspired the most confidence for something I know little about. <br /> Once the weather warmed up Scott and his crew came out and finished the work in 2-3 hours.  Had me take a look and left the area clean and neat. <br /> I will end up using Scott again for any masonry needs. <br />

I initially contacted Scott via Angieslist messaging. Got a  a response in less than 24 hours with his phone number. We then communicated via text. He scheduled a time to come out for estimate. He arrived right on time (even better he was a few minutes early). Gave me the estimate & offered to do the job on the spot. He was done in less than 30 minutes, and was extra careful to make sure finished product looked as clean & professional as possible. He cleaned up area afterward. I was very impressed with all aspect of the job. Would definitely recommend Scott! <br />

Called 3 stone masons to get quotes on repointing the stone foundation on a 100 year old 3 family apartment building.  Two returned my call and came out to see the job within a couple days.  Scott was prompt for the appointment, walked the job and gave me a quote on the spot saying he could complete the job in one day and was available to start the next week.  The other stone mason came to the site, said it would take 3 days but, never sent me a quote.  Scott and his crew arrived on time and Scott started off the project and then left his crew to do the work.  Scott does not take payment until I am satisfied with the completed job.  The 2 man crew worked all day, was polite, professional and friendly, and encouraged my input and worked to my satisfaction.  Scott Richards will be my first call on the next job that I have for a stone mason. <br />

I recently hired Scott Richard to install a paver patio at my home as well as repair some crumbling mortar on my garage foundation. Scott and crew showed up on time every day and worked around some pretty crazy weather we experienced to get the job done on time. The crew was friendly and knowledgable and all of the work was superb.They also helped correct a problem with the previous patio being pitched towards my house which had caused some flooding in the past. We received 6 inches of rain during and just after completion and it was awesome to see the water stream off right where they said it would. We're now considering a walk way to complement the patio. <br />

Scott's work is excellent, and my chimney is finally in great condition. Scott did no damage to my roof, house, or yard which I very much appreciated. As I am so pleased with the great job, I am planning on hiring Scott again in the near future for other masonry work. <br /> <br /> <br />

They were very professional and they arrived promptly. They did the job quickly and did a good job. I would recommend them to others and I would use them again.

Clearly knows masonry work well - The repair work was well done. Communication a bit touch and go, but I've seen worse in this regard. Scott was fairly good to work in sorting out the work. They were on-site most of a Monday - Friday period with several muggy day rain interuptions. The rain didn't help in terms of the mess made in the driveway and surounding stone swales. I helped them dig down for the driveway the cobblestone base with my small backhoe - We had discussed this during Scott's estimating visit. It was clearly a mistake to leave him money the last day of the job - the driveway was left a mess of cement dust, sand and other construction crew trash (wood, cigarette buts, a empty drink container or two, many small chunks of concrete spread around). Strongly recommend not paying him until you see the job site cleaned up if you hire him. Needs to be more closely managed in this area than I did...

2/3 OF THE LOWEST ESTIMATES RECEIVED. THEY WERE PROMPT AND RECOMMENDED A FEW WAYS TO SAVE US MONEY.
