SCOTT SPINNER ELECTRICIAN

It was pretty good. He was punctual; He was on time. He didn't charge me more than he could; Price was fair.

Our lights and outlets by our front door stopped working but no circuit breaker was flipped. He promptly diagnosed the problem as a shorted outlet inside our foyer that interrupted power to the outside lights. Repair was prompt and fairly priced. I have further electrical needs which he will be doing in the near future. <br />

He is very pleasant, upbeat and right on time. The price he charges is very reasonable. He knows what he's doing so there's not a lot of wasted time, he gets here and gets right to the problem. He's the only electrician I let in my house!

Rewired the garage for a heat pump. Great job that was neat and up to code. Did all this work in about three hours.

It could not go any better. He is a good guy and knows his stuff.

We set a date and Scott was on time and did it well. I wish the circuits could have been labeled but with the additions done on my house by the previous owner, the wiring was a little tricky and confusing. I managed to figure it out myself. Scott was highly recommended to me by a friend. He does the work himself and is just a nice, down-home guy. I would not hesitate to recommend him or use him again. <br /> <br />

Some time has passed since we engaged Mr. Spinner's services but if my memory suits me we had moved and was trying to sell our home in Georgia. We had a realtor working with us. We received an incredible gas bill and asked our Realtor about it. Everything was turned off or on very low to maintain the house and keep it secure however after alerting our realtor he discovered that there was no electricity in the house. Everyone (Realtor, etc.) combed the house for a solution. They said it was electrical and so I went to Angies List and identified a few Electricians. When I spoke with Mr. Spinner his relaxed but confident manner made feel like he was a good fit. His estimate to come out and see (was reasonable) and when he came out it wasn't but a few minutes before he realized that our meter had been stolen. We had a good laugh about it. He apparently knows his stuff, moreso was out to troubleshoot and save us money. Our realtor was impressed by him and retained his name for future help in his work. We didn't have to use Mr. Spinner for anything intense but I will say he made my wife and I very comfortable and we were more than a few states away. He secured the lines so no one would get hurt and left us feeling that if we ever needed an electrician in that area we would contact him first. He was down to earth and competent.

I had originally made an appointment for him to come over to look at two things. However, I managed to solve one of the issues myself. So I let him know this and asked if he was willing to come over to manage the :light over stairwell" issue - an impossible place for a home-owner to change a bulb. He arrived when he said he would. He was enthusiastic and helpful, and he was very careful about maneuvering his ladder so that it didn't scrape the walls. It didn't take him long to fix the "problem". Scott was positive and upbeat, and I would recommend him to anyone for electrical services.

He did a good job and I rate him high. I would rate the person high on personality too. I would definitely use him in the future as well. I had actually received a quote for the same job by another company which was cheaper, but I chose to go with Scott.

Scott came out on-time and was very friendly and engaging from the start with a good sense of humor. He looked at our list and got to work methodically solving the mysteries that other electricians or do it your selfer's had created. We were especially pleased when he found a blank wall switch was really supposed to be a light switch and fixed it. He seemed to really get a kick out of solving the puzzle. Scott gave us great advise on replacing a light fixture economically. We would definitely use Scott again and his prices were very fair, I really expected to pay more for his expertise. What I appreciated was he explained the problems in terms I could understand and felt he was being honest and straight forward.
