a great experience with quality work

overpriced....Doors installed incorrectly. Sealant oozing out of window trim front door. Waiting for third try to properly install rear door. Used nonpaintable sealant on all doors have stucco exterior so you can't paint over it.

Job not done but quality equipment used; contact was complete and competent. Pricing a little high but quality important. Sears will get building permits if required so all details are done by them

The doors are beautiful and well installed. Both the installer and the gentleman who came to give the quote were knowledgeable, courteous and efficient. The only problem ... the doors were installed at my sister's home and she paid. She used a card, with the intention of paying part of the cost before the project began, and the final payment after it was finished. You needed the card approved before you could accept it, so she gave permission to approve it for the down payment, and have it pre- approved for the final payment. When she received her bank statement, you had charged the full amount... before the installation was complete.

Installers were very professional. Door is very sturdy.

door arrived not put together. as was told to us by the salesperson it would be fused together to prevent airflow. while taking out existing patio door some of the cement was broke off and was not resealed properly. measurement were not right. bottom of sliding screen door would not close properly. kept hitting inside track of glass sliding door. Installers said doors were usually put together at shop and didn't know why this one wasn,t.. they Keep referring to instruction manual. took about four hours to complete project. sears may be over rated.

The service provided was above & beyond outstanding. I would highly recommend Sears to all my friends that might be considering new doors.

Installer & sales person were wonderful initially. I was misled about follow up. The sales person was not there as promised for the install. I had concerns following the install and my sales person has not returned my calls. It concerns me that customer service changed once the deal was set. Sears always had a good rep. for customer satisfaction. I love the product but extremely disappointed in customer service. If I had it to do again I would be very cautious.

Eric, the Sears representative, was very congenial and knowledgeable. His presentation and information about the door and installation convinced us that we made the right choice in buying it. Hopefully the installation will be of the same high quality.

The entire process was very easy from selecting the door to the installation of the door. Everything was explained in detail and I knew exactly what I was getting. I would definitely use Sears Home Improvement for any future home improvement project.

Took longer than expected, but they kept appointments -- or called if they couldn't.

Professional sales presentation - answered all my questions and provided valuable information. Professional installers. They were efficient, friendly and cleaned up after completing the project. They thoroughly explained the installation before they began since they had to replace the framing also and, when finished, they demonstrated how the new lock and dead bolt worked since they were different than the ones on my old door. Quickly completed the paperwork and explained the warranties. It was a very pleasant experience from the sale, to the scheduling to the installation.

The man working at Sears did a real nice job and completed it in record time. The door although a little expensive is really nice and I think well worth the price. KV
