They were on time and finished in no time. They did charge extra for closets. I would have thought a closet goes with the bedroom and should not have been an extra charge.

You are correct - we charge by the area, and hallways, closets and bathrooms are considered smaller areas. For example, a walk-in closet is typically only $23 (a regular area is $36) and a small kids closet is only $7. And you wouldn't believe what some people have on their closet floors! We could increase our prices to include closets as part of a room, but then these customers would be paying for cleaning carpet that we literally couldn't begin to touch. The service was good but I was disappointed that we had to move our furniture ourselves.

While we do include moving light furniture (sofas, chairs, loveseats, end tables, etc.) as part of our cleaning, for health and safety reasons we instruct our technicians to not move heavy furniture (like beds, china cabinets), breakable items (like figurines, lamps), or electronic devices (TV's, computers). Additionally, when we clean tile, we want to keep the furniture off the floor that was cleaned until the floor is dry (It keeps the floor clean and prevents damage from moisture on the furniture). Since the floor may still be damp at the time we leave, we will ask the customer to put the furniture back after the floor dries. We have reiterated our process to our crews at our team training meeting, as we believe this is an important part of our service. If you believe we did not follow the procedures we outlined, we would be more than happy to return and fix it for you. Or if there is any part of the cleaning with which you are not happy, please call us back so we may return to address it. Your Satisfaction Guarantee is good for 30 days, so please don't hesitate to call us. Thank you for using Sears Carpet & Air Duct Cleaning."

Inspected while wet. Look okay. But when bridge way and hall dried, looked as if nothing was done. Dirty spotted areas were still dirty and spotted.

The technicians were very friendly, professional and explained how they would clean my carpet. They listened to me and asked what stains I had so they could apply the correct solution. The house smells amazing and my carpet looks brand new. They wore protective covers on their shoes and made sure all was to my satisfaction before presenting me with the invoice. I will definitely call them again and I recommend them to others.

They said they ran out of hot water and left my carpet smelling very bad. I had paid them $364 which was to include deodorizer to shampoo 5 rooms, a hallway and 11 steps. They told me that the bad odor would go away after about a day or two. There were no heavily soiled areas or stains. They did come back on redo, but on return trip, they sprayed the bacterial spray but did not re-shampoo the carpet first.

Specialist Don G. and his assistant Darryl were very professional, and courteous. After accessing the work and going over the paper work with us, Don explained in detail what he and his assistant would be doing, and if we had any questions feel free to ask. Their work was efficient and clean. I give them a rating of 5 Stars.
