Very Poorly, too hard to coordinate. The project manager and Program staff were located in Richmond, VA, an hour and a half away. The subcontractor was negligent and caused major water damage to the interior of the house. Sears could have cared less and took over a week to respond.

The worked turned out very good. They took awhile because they actually made some of the cabinets. They turned a couple of cabinets into three door drawers. Everythign had to be hand made. The job took a week and a half total. They did a very nice job keeping the area clean and the dust confined with plastic coverings. I did not see any room for improvements. We are very happy with product.

We did not have a good experience.  Initially someone came out right away and looked at the washing machine and said that it needed parts to be ordered in order to make the repair.  They took $450 in payment at that time and were scheduled to come back the following week.  Before they were to come out on the following Tuesday, we received a call saying that it needed to be rescheduled for Wednesday afternoon.  Wednesday afternoon rolled around and I received a call from the repairman past the window I was given for his arrival, saying that he had been overbooked for the day, was suffering from sunstroke, and would not be able to come out.  The next morning I called Sears and they said that they could not reschedule for two weeks.  I spoke to many different folks, wasting much of my morning, and got them to agree to rescheduling the next week.  This was still not acceptable but I was not given any choice.  Meanwhile my washing machine had completely stopped working so I was having to use a laundry mat.  The next week came and the appointment was kept, but the man who looked at it this time said that the valve needed to be replaced before he could do the work.  That required that I call a plumber in and have that taken care of, which I did. The Sears guy came back the day after the valve was fixed (another 1 1/2 weeks had passed), and reported that the parts that had been ordered and received were defective and needed to be reordered.  So they rush ordered them, and the parts were at my house the next day.  When I called to see when they could come back out to fix the thing, I was again given a date at least 2 weeks out, spent the morning talking to people about how we could get someone out sooner, etc.  Finally, a week later they came out and finished the job.  I think in all it took 5-6 weeks.  I think I'm blocking a lot of the insanity at this point.  I think the moral of this story is two-fold: (1) Don't use Sears for appliance repairs unless you are not in a hurry and/or (2) just order a new washing machine and save yourself a giant headache. <br />

I am mostly happy, but there are a few things needs to be done.  Overall, I am happy with my kitchen.  I paid them the amount of money that I wanted to pay them for it.  They are a few problems that they haven't finished taking care of.  They have been very responsive.  They are right on the money.  I will refer them to anybody and will tell them about what they need to watch out for.

This year we had a smokey/smelly odor when we returned home from being away for a week. We called for a repair/free annual checkup. Furnace man did yearly checkup upon our call & request. He found no reason for the smokey odor and said furnace was working properly. This was 3rd year of contract. We did not call previous years & no "yearly checkup" was done. They don't call us when it would be free. <br />

The experience with Sears was excellent.  Discussed the sales process in previous review.  After contact was signed, the scheduler contacted me.  Scheduler was outstanding, she worked with me to set up the best day/time for the install.  She called on the day of install and also followed up immediately after the install.  Then again a couple days later.  So far (4 days), I am very pleased with the carrier system.  My house is much more comfortable in the current 95+ degree weather.  I have a few issues with the installation contractor. Sears is addressing those and I will comment on them in a separate review of the installer.

I contact several companies for estimates for a new HVAC system for my home.  Sears missed their first appointment.  The salesman had appointments scheduled at locations over an hour apart.  As a result he missed our appointment and it had to be rescheduled.  I don't blame the salesman, the schedulers did a very poor job understanding the geography of the Hampton Roads area.  I considered not rescheduling but since I was still getting estimates and had the time I went ahead.  Glad I did.  Different salesman came out.  He was really good.  Very professional and worked with me to set up just what I needed.  He was a little higher than some of the other bids, but not by much.  They also sell Carrier, which was my preference since my current Carrier system has lasted 20 years.  Saleman did an excellent job. <br /> The scheduler, Tara, has also been outstanding.  She has diligently worked with me to set up the install.  So far Sears has done an excellent job.  Next report will be after the install.

It took them one month to come and install the opener, when they had originally said they would be out to our house in two weeks. I was frustrated with their service agreement and I will never shop there again. I would not recommend them for installations.

I am very unhappy with Sears. They charged me a lot of money for something they couldn t fix. The technician came back three times, because the refrigerator was not cooling. The third time he came out he said it would be another six weeks. We just bought a new refrigerator because we didn t want to go through the hassle.

It took sears three tries to repair our dryer and every time they came out we had to wait and wait. They did finally get it working properly, but we won't be calling them to do the job again. After the first visit, it was harder and harder to get them to try and listen to what we were saying and they kept getting ruder and ruder. I don't recommend using Sears to repair anything.

I can't believe that Sears no longer fields customer service calls. I called to complain about the problems I had with the door opener and all I got was an automated phone message. They had worked on it already, so luckily I took out an extended warranty on it in case I had problems with it down the line.

We only used Sears for our appliances, but they were highly recommended to me by a friend. Since it was going to be such a huge project and somewhat expensive, I decided why not give them a try. Sears was a nationwide company, but let me tell you in the three days that it took them to finish the job, it was just outstanding. The clean up was superb and they were respectful while at our home.

We looked around for months trying to find a company who could do this at a price we could afford. Sears had similar products at half the price. These were extremely expensive windows because of the reflective quality that lets us see out but prevents others from seeing in. The job was done in a very professional manner and completed in just one day. We plan on calling Sears back to do the lower level, as soon as we can afford it.

They did a reasonable overall job. There was one major problem with the pipes in our flooring. One of them leaked and ruined my ceilings in our downstairs kitchen. We had to pay someone to come out, fix the plumbing, and restore my wall. The actual work in my bathroom was perfect. We were very pleased with our new look. Despite all the leaking pipes, we were satisfied with their work. I don't think we would hire them again.

We had just finished having an overhead door installed, but thought we did not need a new opener at the time. Apparently we were wrong. We decided on Sears because they were the least expensive company we called about this. After spending as much as we did on the new door we wanted costs kept low. The technician brought the opener with him, since we purchased it at Sears and had the job done in ninety minutes. The new opener can barely be heard and it operates much faster than the old one.

The service man they sent was professional and polite. He showed up and finished the job on time. He was very quick and efficient. Sears was so easy to work with and that's what I really liked about them. There were no hassles involved at all.
