The rep showed up but I never received any bid for the job. I am still waiting. Really needed to put that in my budget. I have dealt with Sears before, just bought all my appliances through them but to not get any kind of figure and it's been 11 days, I will have to go somewhere else. This is the first time that I have had any problems.....

They did a good job. Everyone was professional and I am happy with the installed furnace. They did not have fliers on the furnace models they were selling for me to examine or retain for evaluation. Even a website would have been nice. Everyone I dealt with were professional, responsive and ontime. Met with me on a Sunday morning which was a great time for me so I would not have to take time off. I was very satisfied with my overall dealings. I felt as though the end price was a bit high, but NOT out of line. Also, I figure their warranty service would be better, if needed, as I don't see Sears Heating and Cooling going out of busines

Originally over the automated phone I gave a 5 star rating, but after over a month later and still no new filter that the installer told me he would have delivered to me(odd size), I've lowered my rating to a 4 star. Other than that so far so good.

The estimator who supplied the initial quote was very professional and thorough. The installation took place when scheduled and all work was completed without any problems.

Wasn't impressed. The Project Manager was worthless, the salesman didn't divulge all the warranty information. The only reason I'm giving it a 2 is because the installer was genuine.

Hard sell, glazed power point presentation. Referred to other HVAC as 'chuck in a truck' on more that several occasions. Did I mention hard sell, thought I was buying ENCYCLOPEDIAS!!

Very professional, sold us what we needed at a fair price. Revealed the ideas of obtaining too big of a system just to get reabates and that the rebates were no longer available due to changes in the minimum ratings. Also, salesman explained that the supplier could place a liens on our home and then explained Sears took that liabilty. We had no idea that liens could be placed on our home if the contractor did not pay his supplier!

Sears just contracted it out to someone else and never followed up. Next time I'll just find a reputable local contractor.

The unit is great and the installation was clean and neat. I still don't have all of the permits required by my city and feel that they tricked me into paying before the job was done.

They fixed the problem quickly and without trouble. However, over $400 per hour for labor seems well beyond excessive. I would never use them again.

Sears did a wonderful job of explaining everything when they came to do the quote. They really took their time with me. I appreciated that. They scheduled the install right away and the people who did the actual install were very professional and wallked me through how everything worked. I was impressed. The first company, came to give me a quote, the gentleman needed to get some information from the electrician to complete the quote and was going to get back to me and I never heard from them again. Sears was on the ball, returned my calls promptly and were very professional and friendly. They have a real good handle on how to provide customer service which is something that has been lacking in today's society.

They were responsive and did an energy survey, which not all of firms did. I asked for advice between heat pump and air conditioning and they were thorough in response. The only negative is the salesman told me I needed an electrical outlet which I didn't and I am not sure if it was included in his charge for the service. Installation was timely and professional.

Very prompt,polite and professional. Fully explained the unit installed and provided answers to all my questions. I am very pleased with the unit and the service.

Everything was done well and on time.

He was very nice and informative. However, he seemed kind of like a pushy car sales man at times.

The people that came and installed for us were great friendly and would hire sears again in a heart beat.

Very flexible with time, great customer service, paid close attention to our needs and wants. Best price, highly recommend. Sears goes way beyond "normal" customer service to meet needs especially with time. Thank you!

Everything was done as they told me. I have no complaints. Great work!
