THEY DO NOT HAVE AN MHIC LICENSE <br /> <br /> We live on a hill, and our lawn has a pretty steep drop-off into our neighbor's yard. We wanted to have a retaining wall put in, about 40 feet long and 3 feet high, to make our yard almost level. At the time Seasonal Changes had a pretty good rating, I think about a B+. <br /> <br /> Our first hurdle was getting the job started in the first place. We received an estimate from an employee who, apparently, was let go shortly thereafter. As a result, it took the company a very long time to get to all the jobs he'd booked without proper documentation. After ironing out the bugs, about 6 weeks after getting the estimate and making a down payment, they came to do the job. The good news is, it only took them about 2 days. Unfortunately, the wall lasted a little over a year. I came home from work one evening to find that a section about 10 feet long (also the tallest and most crucial part of the wall) had fallen into the neighbor's yard. <br /> <br /> When I first called, it was late fall and the company said they wouldn't really be able to do anything about it until spring...annoying, but understandable. Still, they came out to look at the problem, and said they'd discuss it and get back to us. After a couple of days, they called and said they had a solution (after talking to another landscaping company), and told us it would cost $2000 to fix. I asked why they were charging me to fix something that they had built, and I had done nothing to destroy. The foreman told me that it was "not their fault" and he didn't think it would be fair for him to fix it for free. <br /> <br /> I have not spoken to them again since then, but I don't plan on giving them any more money. If I'm going to pay someone, it won't be Seasonal Changes.

The initial meeting with the guys from Seasonal Changes was very helpful. They listened to my needs and wishes and described their recommendations and the reasoning for those recommendations. In addition to the plants and labor, I was looking for advice from professionals and that's what I got. They were able to come out a few days later and completed the work within a few hours. Everything looked (and continues to look) great and I'm excited that it has met all of my needs. Everyone involved was very friendly and professional. I definitely plan to use them again in the future! <br />

The service and the company were fine. I didn’t get the results that I was wanting because there were unforeseen circumstances. They were prompt in calling and showed up on time. The workers were professional and polite and I had no problems with them at all.

They were the last people to work on our yard for the year. They were very responsive and it was easy to schedule an appointment. They did a great job and I was really impressed!

Tom was easy to work with, he and his crew did a wonderful job. I highly recommend Seasonal Changes, high quality work.

Cole, the company representative, was always patient and answered all my questions.  Took his recommendations and they proved to be great.  Finished product looks very clean, neat, and polished. Work crew arrived on time and finished proficiently. <br />

They were very responsive on the phone. The guy I dealt with Cole was very responsive and communicated well.

Tom was very knowledgeable about the services his company would provide.  I was extremely impressed!  He made the process simple and easy - his crew started the very next day even with a rainy start!  I will definitely recommend Tom and his crew to ANYONE who needs ANY landscaping service. If you're looking for a business that take pride in what they do, Seasonal Changes is the company to call!!! <br /> ADDED BONUS: I am a jewelry designer and I now use the boulders for my product shoots :) <br />

Moved to our new home in Sep 2006. Any continued with existing lawn care.Company service was ok but once switching over to seasonal changes. My yard looks like a golf course. "Excellent", excellent company.

Overall, it went well, my husband and I both work.  It was nice to come home and see an important task on our "to do" totally completed.  It gave us piece of mind and now we can focus on another task. <br />

He did a beautiful job and was a very nice man. The only thing I couldn't understand was he didn't plant all the way across to the windows. But I was very pleased, it was done very well.

Exceptional work!  The crew was very polite and worked very well together.

Be prepared for a slow initial response. Otherwise, the estimate was done quickly and when we had decided on this landscaper, the work was done in a timely manner. Enough workers showed up to get all the tasks done quickly, and everything was cleaned up before they left.

The price seemed to be a reasonable amount to me. It's holding up and doing fine. They did pretty much what I expected them to do. They used fine materials but they had such a narrow selection to choose from.

Chuck Slater, a personable employee (vice-president?) responded promptly to my request for a bid.  The bid came in at $3000, which was abou 40% (!) lower than the next higher bid.  I chose Seasonable Changes to do the work, but, frankly, I was a bit concerned because their bid was so low,  I should not have worried.  They came ready to work on the day appointed.  Employees were professional and very well mannered.  Worked hard -- and it was very hot.  Because of unexpected difficulty in removing the old ties, the job took a day longer than anticipated,  I can't fault them for that.  The job was done correctly from the very start -- and I' II have to say that I'm very picky.  And my neighbor liked it too.  After they put the ties in, they cleaned up the site.  The charge was exactly what they had bid. <br /> <br /> I'm glad I chose them.  Aside from the big bucks that I saved, I liked their work, I liked their employees.  I'd certainly hire them again. <br />

Very good experience. Great monthly payment system to keep it simple. Using them again for 2011.

Chuck very profession able and very knowledgeable. He provided great information during the estimate process and he was told us a few things that we could do to maintenance our own lawn. Chuck was not pushy and the crew that showed up did so on time and they were very courteous and did a great job at the job they were hired to do. They cleaned up after themselves and we would definitely use them again. They did an awesome job and when we pointed out a few things we wanted to do without question and they treated the lawn to kill insects and unwanted vegetation.

They did a good job. They were very responsive, easy to contact, and very responsive. The quality of work they did was also good and they were very punctual.
