Secure Roofing

Mike came be a few weeks ago to fix a leaky roof for us. I was very happy with the experience and the work. We've been having some issues with roof leaks ever since we got it replaced about 5 years ago and have had a few different contractors by to try and sort it all out. Secure roofing came by promptly and were able to identify a problem area and fix it on the spot for a very reasonable fee. Mike stressed that if we have any problems with the work we should get in touch with him, which was hugely appreciated. We haven't had a heavy rain yet, full disclosure, but I wouldn't hesitate to call them again.

It went great had good workers and very professional repaired roof when all other roofing companies told me that it wasn’t repairable I give 5 stars very satisfied and was fast efficient and cleanup, and trash taken away very highly recommended

I hired Secure Roofing to fix an extensive leak in my roof. Michael, the owner, had his crew fix what had to be done in a timely manner. Not only that, Michael did not try to up sell me. He repaired only what was necessary and assured me that the rest of my roof was fine. I would absolutely hire Secure Roofing again.

Very well. Mike returned my call and showed on time for estimate. He pointed out the problem (a missing slate) that I did not see before. He set an appointment to do the work, but knowing a storm was approaching, made time to do repair earlier. That I appreciated too. Also showed concern over walking on old slate and was very careful when the work was done. Work proved to be an excellent fix. Leaks no more, will certainly call SECURE in the future when need arises.

Very well. This is the third time I have hired them do work on various sections of my roof. All jobs were well done.

My roof got battled by Nor'easter, time came to replace all shingles. I already used once Secure Roofing to repair roof on a shed and naturally decided to give my business to Mike Tenehey Mike and his team were very responsive from the time of my first inquiry right though until job completion. The price was reasonable, and we scheduled work in a few weeks. Due to bad weather the work was postponed 2 times, but we were not in rush and flexible. The roofing team carefully placed tarp around house to protect flowers and bushes. The work of replacing 1000 sq feet of roof was done very professionally in about 6 hours, all debris and trash were removed afterwords. Mike also recommended a specialist and scheduled gutters replacement, so couple weeks later we also got new gutters. I am very pleased with this team and recommend Secure Roofing for other projects.

I needed some shingles replaced after the recent storm. Mike and his team were at my house the next day to fix the problem. They were professional, quick, and left the house clean. Responsive and professional

We were delighted with Mike's punctuality, professionalism, and cost. He visited our house shortly after we called, and gave us an estimate that was about half of what we got elsewhere. He came to do the work a few days thereafter, and supervised the work himself (a big plus, based on our prior experience). We called three references from his list of about 20 (commercial property owners for whom he had done a lot of work), and all were very positive. The job involved cleaning the roof of debris from overgrown ivy, laying down a polyethylene cover, putting on a rubber roof, fastening it, and replacing flashing. In addition, he inspected the gutter and replaced it. There was a lot a debris on the roof from overgrown ivy, which his crew bagged up and took away. The job took a day and a half. I would definitely use him again! Highly recommended.

From start to finish everything went very smooth. I called Mike, explained my problem to him, and he came by the next day to look at the roof and give me a quote. He pointed out exactly what had to be done and assured me that I would be very happy when the job was finished. Secure Roofing has a great reputation in the Quincy ,Massachusetts area and Mike's price was more than fair. I hired him immediately. On the day the job was scheduled, his crew showed up on time and went right to work. Later that afternoon when the men finished, I was amazed at how well the project came out. Everything went great from the initial phone call, to the first visit to inspect our job, to the actual day Michael and his team completed the work. Michael was easy to get in touch with and came highly recommended from our neighbor, who also used his expertise and services. He went above and beyond to try and match our existing shingle color and did a great job. He's honest and would highly recommend.

They responded promptly to my phone call. Secure roofing did an onsite inspection, explained the work to be done and a cost estimate for the job. They came in within the cost estimate provided. They were able to obtain the same shingle brand and color to match my roof. They upgraded the shingle attachment to meet stronger wind speeds. They placed tarps to protect my home while working and did a very very good job cleaning up after the work was complete. The workmen were polite and displayed a high degree of craftsmanship in completing the job. As soon as the work started they did not stop until the work was completed. I am satisfied with the work performed and the quality of the finished roof.

Mike and his crew were friendly, efficient & knowledgable.  He heard my concerns and made sure to both explain the process and take care of everything.  They came early and worked hard, despite the hot weather. The job was completed I a few days and I couldn't be happier with the result!  I have already recommended him to others and will definitely call on him again if I have a project!

We have lived in our house 2 1/2 years.  A few months after buying the house, we called James to inspect the roof (our home inspection found some damaged areas and noted the roof was towards the end of its life).  James came out within a couple of days and after completing the inspection and providing the quote, he recommended that we wait another year or 2 for a full roof replacement and to not spend any money to replace the damage since it was not going to extend the life of the roof.  We did just as James recommended.   <br>When it came time to replace the roof, I called James for an estimate given the level of honesty he showed during our first encounter.  Once we agreed on a price, James scheduled a date less than a week later for the installation.  Since I was at work when they started, James sent numerous texts and pictures, keeping me constantly updated.  He even sent a picture of the shingles as evidence that what I ordered is what was installed.  Additionally, James and his team were very efficient and neat.  We have 2 dogs so we stressed our concerns of roofing nails and other debris being left behind.  My husband was home when they did the clean up and said they spent quite a bit of time cleaning up and he didn't find any remaining debris after they were finished. <br>The only negative comment I would make is that during the replacement they noticed that our hot water heater was not properly vented.  James instructed his team lead to go purchase supplies to fix the venting.  My husband was looking it over before they left and noticed that the wrong materials were used.  Once we brought this to James's attention, he immediately fixed the problem.  He even stayed late to ensure all of the work was completed and the venting was correct.  I understand mistakes happen sometimes so I appreciate that he admitted the mistake and corrected it immediately. <br>All in all, we had a nice experience with Secure Roofing and would definitely use them again! <br> <br> <br>

Wonderful!  Mike and his crew are a bunch of honest, hardworking guys.  They were there early and stayed late to get everything done.  He and his crew were polite and very tidy.  Mike was able to get to our roof in a timely manner and we were very pleased with the finished project.  His fairness and quality of work was well worth waiting for when he's busy, there is a reason so many people are lined up to hire him! <br />

I had used Michael for a commercial property approximately 6 years ago to replace a roof on 100 year old 2 family and the job went flawless, at the time he noticed some chimney issues and handled that also for us with a mason who repointed and sealed all leaks. No leaks or issues since even during the horrible winter we had last year. Since then I have recommended him to clients, friends , relatives and neighbors all whom have returned glowing reviews. He replaced my personal residence roof last november- was cedar shingles with the HD Architectural shingles. The job went quickly and smoothly. The crew was fantastic, fast, clean and respectful. And my roof/home looks better than it ever has. About 1 month ago a friend/neighbor asked me if I thought he would do a small section of roof. I had spoke of him in the past and  recommended him and she has seen his work on several homes in the neighborhood. She couldn't get any roofer to touch it due to the size of the job. So I gave her his number and left it at that. He got back to her promptly and set a date a few weeks out, and she just called to thank me roof is completed and her experience was great. Also he will be doing another commercial job for me on 2 small apt buildings either this fall or early spring.  Michael and his crews have always done an excellent job I wouldn't even consider using anyone else. <br />

It went great.  Roof looks terrific.  They arrived on time and finished in time promised.  Clean up was great,  couldn't even tell they had been here. <br />

They stripped the roof and loaded all the old shingles in a dumpster. They completely cleaned up all the trash and shingles. Micheal and his crew were outstanding. I would highly recommend this company to do roofing work in the future. <br />

I got a few bids, and Secure was the lowest. I also had had them do a smaller job a few months earlier, and that turned out fine. So Secure was the obvious choice for this job. <br /> They did the job quickly, and the new shingles look great (a big improvement over the old ones). Since the new roof went in, we've had a few hard rains but no leaks. Michael answered all the questions I had along the way. He's a pleasant guy, and good to do business with, though less than great with paperwork. <br /> Michael also helped me fix a poorly designed vent stack (it had been put in many years ago, before we bought the house).This required him and an employee to make a couple of extra visits, but he did it uncomplainingly.  <br />    <br /> <br /> <br />

Secure was prompt and courteous with providing a reasonable estimate.  After other estimates, we decided to go with Secure. The job was performed almost immediately after giving the yes to start.  Michael was professional and had the job completed in a half a day.  It was great.  I would recommend using this company to anyone looking for roof work. <br />
