Greg and his team were excellent. They showed up on time, worked all day and made the move very smooth for our family. We have three young kids under the age of 6 and we were dreading moving day. Greg was polite, easy to work with and put our worries to rest. His crew was careful with our furniture and we have many pieces that are older family heirlooms. They were careful to wrap anything delicate up and they did a great job with the preparation of doorways, railings, stairs and floors. I would definitely use them again.

Security Moving was recommended to us by a friend and we couldn't be more pleased with Greg. He went above and beyond in making sure that all of our belongings arrived safely and without any damage. We were exceptionally pleased with Security Moving Vienna, Va., and would recommend them without reservation. Greg Hessler is knowledgeable, responsible, and trustworthy. We moved out of our house in Vienna, and stored most of our belongings with this company for nine months, before moving into a house in Fredericksburg. Greg did a thorough walk-through and gave us a transparent and fair estimate of the cost to pack, store, and move us. There were no extra or hidden fees. He worked with us to find a convenient date to move us out, showed up on time, with an appropriate number of helpers, and carefully packed us up and into the truck. The crew was exceptionally clean, and conscientiously avoided knocking into walls and door jambs. When it was time to move in, events beyond our control caused us to have to reschedule twice. Greg was wonderful. He worked hard – and communicated regularly – as he scheduled our move into his calendar. On move-in day we were delighted that his hard work simplified the entire process. The transport and reassembly were efficient and thorough, and now that we have unpacked, we want to applaud the secure packing job that kept our possessions in good condition. Seriously - these guys are great. The owner Greg is very professional. This is the second time we've used them to move us. Everything from delicate china, paintings, to tonka trucks were handled with a high level of care. Punctual, professional, knowledgeable, and very trustworthy. While I hope I don't have to move again - I am confident I would hire Greg H and Security Moving Vienna a third time!

It was a great experience! Greg and his team were very professional and was very punctual for both pick up and delivery. You hear of all the horror stories of your delivery not showing up on time and having the date pushed back multiple times. That was not the case with Security Moving Vienna! They preformed a cross country home move, and delivered the day they promised. There was no damage on any of the furniture moved while both homes had multi floors involved.

Greg and his team moved my belongings, first into storage then into my new home. They worked very hard, very efficiently and with no damage to belongings or the home. In the new home, the experience was the same. We were so happy to see that none of our belongings were damaged, broken or even scratched. I would HIGHLY recommend Greg and his team for any move, large or small!

Security Movers and Greg did a spectacular job in moving our family and all of our belongings from our long-time home in Vienna Vrginia to our new home in suburban Chicago. Based on glowing recommendations from two of our neighbors for both Greg and his work, we invited him to quote the move. He spent more than 3 hours reviewing and fully documenting all of our belongings and to fully understand what items we would be moving ourselves or selling off before we moved. His quote was not only more complete but also more affordable than any of the national carriers. Naturally we selected him for the job. Once the move was confirmed and scheduled, Greg truly went above and beyond with numerous deliveries of complimentary boxes and paper packaging gathered from earlier moves. We literally saved thousands of dollars in packaging and boxes because of his help. More than that, he stopped by regularly to check on our progress with packing and stacking to assure that if there were issues or concerns that he could work with us ahead of time so that when “moving day” came - we would be 100% ready But it was more than just Greg – his full team in both Virginia for the load and Chicago for the unload were as friendly and careful as they were fast and efficient. Only one item was broken during the move (a glass pane within a picture frame that we had packed ourselves) compared to the dozens of items broken by poor care and handling in our earlier move to Virginia. Better still – Greg was just as effective when things did not go as planned as he was in working through the plan. When we came up short and needed additional space, he was back in an hour with an additional truck. When there was concern that the second load could take more than a month to get to us, he worked with one of his loading team members to use a rental truck to get our items up to Chicago only a week later. When a key item was accidently packed on the second truck that we needed for our personal travel, he made the trip (late night) to go get the item and have it back on our doorstep before we need to roll out Moving your home and your family is as challenging as it is emotional. Your mover should be someone who makes a difficult time and task easier not harder. Greg and his team did exactly that and it made all the difference for us

Greg was amazing from the beginning and the only company that we contacted that came to do the estimate in person. Greg and his crew loaded and unloaded us for a cross country move to include our house and our truck. He was very responsive and stuck to his estimate. He went the extra mile to make sure our stuff was delivered safely and took extra precautions to make sure certain items were loaded and unloaded with extra support. We’ve moved several times and this was far the best experience we’ve ever had. Greg is top notch!

In a word - fantastic! Greg came to our house promptly and provided an estimate within hours. He worked with us on the move date when our buyers were flip flopping about going forward with the sale and the settlement date. He actually did our move on a Sunday. Very flexible. On moving day, Greg and his crew were punctual, hard working, efficient, and pleasant. They finished early which saved us money on the job. Excellent. I never imagined saying this about a move (they are just awful experiences under any circumstances), but this was a painless process. Greg says what he can do, and does what he promises. I had a flood one week prior to the move which meant Greg had to move me in partially into pods, partially into the house, around dehumidifiers and construction, up a hill, which he did magically. I would recommend Greg to anyone, and already have. Here are the reasons: 1. Price was excellent, and as predicted 2. Communication was clear. Greg checked in several times. 3. Greg has a professional, and reassuring demeanor. Moving is stressful but he and his guys are calm, handle neighbors, parking, and the inevitable problems in a way that took those worries off my mind. 4. Greg and his crew are clean, careful, and efficient. 5. Greg provides documentation of everything--I knew what to expect, where my things were, costs, etc. A true professional. Highly recommend.

My husband and I recently built a new house and we used Security Moving Vienna to move from our old house to the new one. Several months before we had planned to move, we started to do the packing ourselves, thinking we could handle it all. We made some progress but it soon became evident that it was outside of our skillset! Plus, with full-time work and care-giving of an elderly live-in parent, it was just too much to handle. Security Moving Vienna came and handled everything, and I mean everything from beginning to end. They were a life-saver. Their white-glove approach to customer service is beyond anything I’ve experienced anywhere for any service. They were fast, efficient, and paid attention to every detail. Coordinating the emptying of one house so we could put it on the market, with the move to the new house was a bit of a challenge for my husband and me, but Security Moving Vienna willingly accommodated our schedule and was able to pack and store a good portion of our items for several weeks until the final move to the new house could take place. They took what was a complicated process and turned it into an easy one! The packing/unpacking of boxes went like clock-work. Boxes were unpacked, furniture placed where it needed to go, beds assembled….it was amazing! They knew the exact contents of every box, even down to the smallest item. Not a single thing was missing and there nothing was damaged, not only our packed items, but nothing damaged in the house (floors, walls, etc). They treated both the packing and unpacking as if it were their own home; runners placed on the floors, stair banisters protected with pads, etc. I simply cannot say enough good things about Security Moving Vienna. They were responsive, accommodating, professional. They made what is normally an emotionally and physically draining experience and turned it into something where we had no worries at all. We knew we were in good hands! And we were!

Fantastic. This was a hard job with difficult driveway to moving a piano up a steep flight of stairs. Greg the owner and his crew did an amazing job and were more then accommodating and positive.

Greg and his crew were awesome!! Moving is super stressful and I couldn't have been happier with the way the move went. He packed everything so well that nothing broke!! Greg and his crew were prompt, efficient and moved everything safely to a storage unit. Even in the pouring down rain the furniture was moved without getting wet or being damaged. My family has hired Greg to move our furniture for many years and is alway 100% satisfied with his work.

I cannot say enough about what a great experience I had with Security Movers. I had initially booked my move with a company called Supreme Movers. They did not show up on the day scheduled and I cancelled that company after they attempted to get an additional deposit to show up the next day. This put me in a position of having to find a mover on Friday night to move me over the weekend so that I could close on the selling of my house on Monday. I began searching Angies List and Home Advisor, and finally found Security Movers. Greg, the owner, contacted me immediately and said he could do the move with pickup on Sunday. Having no choice, I scheduled him after he sent me a fantastic estimate. Greg and his team of 3 other movers arrived precisely as scheduled at 8am on Sunday and quickly and efficiently went to work. I was impressed with their care in packing and wrapping fragile items and glass top furniture and their overall professionalism and willingness to do anything to make the experience go well. They were scheduled to arrive at the offload location in Alabama at 8am Wednesday after the Sunday pickup. Greg called me on Tuesday night stating they were already in town and staying at a hotel and asked to start earlier the next morning, so we set the delivery time at 7am. I arrived at the house at 6:45 and they were already there getting set up. The delivery went just as smooth and professionally as the pickup, with them reassembling everything as required and carefully placing items exactly where we wanted them. If you are looking for an exceptional moving company, look NO further than Security Movers. It is a small independent company, but turned out to be the very best move I have ever had. Their professionalism and integrity are superb, and I will readily recommend Greg and his company to friends and anyone else needing their service. I didn't mention the price they charged, but it was unbelievable. The entire move cost $7,138 from Virginia to Alabama, and we had an extremely large load, well over 16,000lbs. Compare that with four other estimates I had which ranged from just over $10,000 to $14,000. If I could rate them on a 5 star level, they would be a 10 most certainly!!

It went seamlessly! The team was on time and worked tirelessly all day until the job was complete. They took great care to safely pack everything (including many fragile items) and all arrived without any marks or damage. The care they took was exemplary. The estimate and final price were reasonable and the entire effort came within budget. I even hired them to come back and move furniture around in my home. All members of the team were hard working and courteous and took great care to make sure everything was moved quickly and safely. I have never had movers take such care to protect my items--and to do so efficiently so as not to take more time than necessary.

There was not one wet footprint, bump, scrape, or dent on a single thing in either location - despite move in day being cold, grey, wet and dreary in mid January. Every single item was packed with exceptional care - and everything arrived in the same condition is was before packing and moving. Moving is stressful enough - but the actual packing, loading, unloading, and unpacking turned out to be low stress. This is a great moving company. This move was to a temporary location and we will DEFINITELY use them again for our permanent move in the next 12 months.
