SemBro and everyone that works there, are the BEST! Alyssa understood our vision. Erik, Pavlo, Sasha, Paul, Igor and Alex, made sure it happened. They treated our home, as if it were their own. Each one of them made sure everything was “perfecto”(as Pavlo says). The painters Dave and Jeff were efficient and precise! They all made sure everything we wanted, they did, working in harmony with each other. They completed all the renovations within the dates we originally established. Erik made sure the job moved smoothly and made sure the workers had everything they needed. We love everything they did, and everyday we are so grateful we get to enjoy all this! We appreciate all their hard work.

We had SemBro do a first-floor remodel (kitchen, all flooring, and drywall in one room) a second-floor bathroom remodel, and replacement of all doors, back in 2021 and I intentionally waited to do this review, which I will divide into two parts: product and process. Product: The craftsmen and craftsmanship were and are continuing to be phenomenal. We continue to love all of the enhancements and credit the workers for this. With only a few missteps (that Sembro remedied free of charge) we have had no issues overall, and the quality continues to shine. You see lots of social media posts for either new construction or remodels where outlets are off centered or not connected, cabinet doors do not close all the way, etc., and I can assure that that is not the case for this company. Everything was done the right way, and it shows. Process: During the design phase of the project, our project manager was very engaged; however, once the actual work started, he was a complete waste. He did give us a heads-up that he was getting married and would be taking a week off, and we had no issues with that. It was also near the end of COVID, and we understood that there were sourcing issues. The problem is that not only did he do nothing to alleviate these issues, but he was also basically absent from the whole operation. We went for days without hearing from him, he failed to follow-up to secure things we had reserved through sub-contractors (granite slabs we had selected and had to reselect), gas being left turned off in the house for no reason over the weekend, and the proposed project timeline of 6 weeks expanded to 12. The pinnacle was that he had no concept of how the flooring installation should be handled. We had planned a month in advance to leave the house for two days (as no one could walk on the floors during the staining, sealing and buffing processes), which included a hotel and boarding our dogs. He assured us repeatedly that the flooring crew would get everything done and we could return in two days. We were literally leaving the house, and the flooring team informed us that they could not start until the surface was properly cleaned from the construction residue, and they couldn’t get a cleaning crew for three days. We ended up extending our hotel stay for three additional days, for which they did pay as well as the boarding, but it was just super annoying to do so much planning and then have it immediately fail. Once we got his manager involved, things got back on track. I later found out that he had a falling out with the company, and we were his last project. I was originally going to give them a two-star rating, but realize this was an anomaly, and between the quality of work and the company leadership stepping in once they determined there was a problem, five stars is more than deserved.

Through our Sembro experience, we were introduced to cleaning services by Clean Line by Yuliia and they have been cleaning our home since last year after our remodel. They are professional and very consistent with cleaning our home!

In my opinion, I'm not sure that our experience with Sembro could have been better during our primary bath remodel. They were always happy to help us through the entire process, communicated really well, and everyone we worked with was so nice. I want to say a special thank you to Vitality, Alex, and Eugene for all their hard work on the remodel; we couldn't be happier with the results. Another thank you to Anatoliy as well for his guidance through all of this. Sembro is absolutely worth a call if you're planning on starting a remodeling project!

What an amazing team that facilitated an amazing transformation! We reached out to Sembro because we had heard good things. We wanted ideas on how we could improve our space but did not think we could finish our basement. Anitoly came out and showed us how we could. He worked with us through the quoting and design process and was professional, responsive, and took ownership of the project and his crews work. Anitoly checked in throughout the project and made sure everything went smooth. We felt respected and cared for throughout the whole process. Anitoly is exceptional! The crew was phenomenal as well! We trusted them in our home when we weren't there and I trusted them to work in our home when I was gone and my wife and kids were there. Vadim was very mindful and respectful and always greeted us with a contagious smile, he kept the project ahead of schedule without cutting corners, the quality was great. There was never a moment we did not feel respected in our home. And we were impressed with the craftsmanship. Yaroslav was helping Vadim and he was also a craftsman who was professional and friendly as well. Kostia handled our electric and installed beautiful can lights with dimmers and modern outlets. The drywall team was impressively quick and thorough as well as friendly. I work in the home service industry (painting, HVAC, and electric) and know many horror stories about contractors over promising and under delivering but that was not my experience with Sembro. We signed the contract and went with Sembro because of Anitoly but we will keep using Sembro because of Anitoly's care through the project and the excellent work Vadim, Yaroslav, and Kostia did. Sembro is not the cheapest company but they are not the most expensive. I don't want the cheapest company, I want quality work at a fair price with piece of mind that the company doing the work will own their results and address any issues. Sembro delivered on that past my expectations. Excellent processes, at a fair market price, with a professional team delivering stunning results was our experience with Sembro. Complete kitchen remodel (cabinets, counters, sink/fixtures, adding electrical) and flooring replacement on 1st floor; new half bath vanity, top and faucet; outstanding customer support and attention to detail and quality by this team. They are customer-focused, adaptive, accommodating and professional. While there were delays as a major holiday approached, they did everything they could to complete this remodel to our satisfaction, on budget. There were also a few supply-chain issues but were handled fairly and the outcome was wonderful. Their showroom on the west side of Columbus is beautiful but their people (Roman, Diana, Daniel, Nazar, Igor and their team) and how we were treated also impressed us greatly. I really liked how they itemized each portion of the project where I could pick and choose portions I could do myself such as demolition and painting. This saved us several thousand dollars. I would not hesitate to use their services again.

Ultimately, I was happy with the results. But there were multiple challenges with the project. We wanted to partially remodel two bathrooms. For bathroom #1, we were replacing the tub/shower; replacing the vanity, mirror, and medicine cabinet; installing new lights and fan; and smoothing a textured ceiling. For bathroom #2, we were replacing a tub (only); replacing the vanity, mirrors, and medicine cabinet; installing new lights and fan; and smoothing a textured ceiling. The bathrooms had to be done in sequence since we needed one working bathroom. The sales process went fine. Contract signed in April. Work started at the end of June. Work was completed in mid October. The materials used were good: We like the vanity, and the countertop (from Granite Direct) is fine. There were three main problems: 1. Scheduling/staffing. I appreciate that the project manager accommodated our schedules. But the company (like many others) is short-handed. So there were many days were someone would be on site for an hour or two, and then not back again for several days. This project should not have taken 3.5 months to complete. (One example of the slowness: It took something like 8 days to install subway tile in one bath area. That was one person, working 3-4 hours per day. And no one else was working on anything else at that time.) 2. Communication. The communication between SemBro and us was good. But the communication among workers was poor. In many cases, we had to tell the workers what they needed to do—project details had not been communicated. There were also issues in which the company had not acquired (or even ordered) the parts we needed, which caused delays. 3. Skill level. This might be the case with many contracting firms, but few of the individual workers were skilled in the tasks they had to perform. We didn't have plumbers or electricians; we had people who generally understood how to hook up a sink or install a light. As a result, there were several problems. For example, the first tub was hooked up incorrectly. And it leaked into a third, downstairs bathroom, ruining the ceiling and walls. SemBro repaired that ceiling and wall (which I appreciate), but I still had to repaint everything, and of course, there were delays and inconveniences as the project now covered a third bathroom. Another example: One team installed the wrong kind of lights in one bathroom. And while doing so, they carved holes in the drywall that were too large. They later tried to "fix" this with calk. I had to remove the caulk, then patch and repaint the ceiling. Later, I will hire an actual electrician to install different lights. Another example: The sink in bathroom #1 leaked after installation. Another example: The sinks in bathroom #2, which had been off for more than a month (because of project delays), clogged and leaked. I called in a plumber and drain un-clogger. (The clog is not strictly SemBro's fault, but if the sink had not been off for a month, it might not have happened.) Toward the end of the project, it seemed like each time a team arrived, one task would be completed and another problem would be created. So, again, happy with the results. But after more than a quarter of a year working on this project, it's difficult to recommend SemBro.

I interviewed 3+ contractors for these projects and SemBro, by far, had the most professional, comprehensive proposal of all of the prospective contractors. Some of the key distinguishing factors were: SemBro listened to me as I explained my vision for each space; Their proposal was laid out in an easy to understand manner so I knew how much each aspect of project would cost and what each party's responsibilities would be; SemBro has staff to perform all aspects of the project (some contractors I talked to didn't handle room painting, for instance.) Finally, SemBro has a large showroom that displays samples of every facet of the project making it much easier to see how the elements would work together. I was assigned a Designer (Mariya) from their staff and she worked closely with me as we selected each item that would be needed for the renovations. Once the renovations got underway, each phase was professionally orchestrated according to what needed to be done and in what sequence. The craftsmen are highly skilled and took pride in their work. Everything was extremely professional and transparent. It was so exciting to see each area of my house transformed into a beautiful living space! When small miscommunications occurred, as is bound to happen with so many projects going on simultaneously, SemBro handled the issues with tremendous courtesy and grace. Clearly, they wanted me to be satisfied with every detail. The renovations are now complete and I'm able to move into my new (old), beautiful home. I was fortunate enough to be able to rent living space while SemBro did the renovations. I would use SemBro again in a heartbeat and can highly recommend them.

Sembros Design redid our kitchen in the summer of 2021. This included demo of the kitchen, removal of the floors thoughout much of the first floor. They provided a 3D design which we tweaked through the process. They provided an estimated start time at the time that we signed the contract along with a detailed schedule. The start time and schedule were followed very closely. They obtained permits, removed a portion of a wall and moved plumbing/electric. A large custom island was built and semi-custom cabinets were used on the surround. They worked well with our appliance company to install a cooktop and microwave. There were no hidden costs or surprises. Overall, Sembros were a pleasure to work with and met all expectations.

It went great! Best home remodeling experience I have ever had. Vadim was our designer/project manager and he was wonderful. We interrupted him on the weekend and without hesitation he responded. He definitely went above and beyond and cares about his customers. Can’t say enough great things about this company.

Sembro’s entire staff and crew were wonderful. Recently had my kitchen remodeled. Throughout the process, they were considerate, very thorough, and the quality of work by all was outstanding. I highly recommend and would definitely use again for any future projects.

We worked with Daniel at Sembro to design our kitchen remodel. He was extremely helpful, flexible and budget conscious during the planning phase. Two days after demo, our kids got sent home from school and everyone was in quarantine. Needless to say this was a stressful time! Luckily, Sembro was able to continue on with the work. They do not use subcontractors and their workers are fantastic. They are all courteous, hardworking and timely. I felt like all of them cared about the project and the details being right. Another company wanted close to 100k to do what Sembro did for less and I don’t think quality was sacrificed the least. They removed a wall into our dining room and extended the kitchen making it much bigger. We added hardwood in the living and family rooms and refinished the existing hardwood. We kept the sink where it was but pretty much everything else was gutted. Because of The pandemic there were a few delays but that was not Sembros fault. Honestly, we absolutely love our kitchen and so does everyone else who sees it. We will definitely use Daniel and his team in the future to remodel our bathrooms. Great company to work with-even during a pandemic!

Sembro did an excellent job working on our kitchen/dining room remodel. We started the design process a year early, and Daniel worked through multiple iterations and estimates with us. Daniel was always supportive, patient, and provided helpful feedback on design when we asked. Once the project started, the Sembro employees were professional and timely. Daniel remained in constant contact during the project and ensured everything was done how we wanted. The end result has transformed our house!

Vadim is our project manager. He's easy to work with and very responsive. We had to remove a wall in the kitchen to open it up and he was able to accommodate the request and created a column (load bearing) that looks identical to one already in place. The craftsman was excellent. Everyone who has seen it thought it was an original. The most impressive thing with this project is that everything was on schedule. We had to take a trip during the construction. Vadim worked with us, so that some things were done while we were gone and some waited until we get back. My neighbors were impressed by how punctual the workers were and how hard they worked. We also had the options of purchase some of the appliances ourselves to keep the cost low. I wish we had more selections on the quartz countertop, but that's the contractors that they work with. It's not Sembro itself. We ended up with a quartz countertop that we are happy with, so it all worked out. We were going to put it new hardwood floor but we decided to sand it and re-stain it after discussing with Vadim. The cost was about 1/2 as putting new ones in since they would have to remove the existing hardwood. The new floor turned out great and I was very surprised that it created very little dust with the sanding and how quickly it was done. We had to stay at a hotel overnight after they stained it which is no big deal. Overall I am happy with Sembro and I would use Sembro again if I have more remodeling projects.

Excellent. Large space, total redo. This is a company with integrity. They don't want final payment until you are totally satisfied. They follow up and respond. I would recommend them to anyone.

Great job by SemBro team! Had a complete kitchen remodel. From demo to installing new cabinets, granite countertops, new faucets, and lighting SemBro exceeded our expectations. Vadim did a great job with a new design, which gave us more counter space. The contractors were always on time, polite, and kept us up to date. Would absolutely recommend SemBro for any remodel project.

Great job SemBro team! I am delighted to show friends and neighbors our new kitchen and their response has been wonderful. First rate work on everything. I feel 100% confident to recommend Sembro with the highest regard. Excellent work AND on schedule delivery! Each day I knew what to expect. I was given a clear schedule to follow to have appliances, windows, quartz and granite selected. Every day the crew swept, cleaned up and hauled away the demolition debris. We have 2 dogs and it was good to know they would not get into anything. I can imagine this is an ideal practice for a family with small children. It also helped keep the stress of construction to a minimum as we lived in our home during the construction. The Sembro team were pleasant to be around and worked very hard. Their workmanship is excellent and custom. We are the third family to employ Sembro on our street and we are all in agreement they do great work. We benefitted from each other as they came highly recommended by other neighbors! Prices were competitive and there were no surprises. Well done Sembro!

We fully gutted out kitchen and an adjacent room to make one large kitchen. We worked with Sembro for layout and design and we hired them for the cabinet and granite purchase/install. Nadia was such a pleasure to work with. Her layout/design couldn't have been anymore perfect. I also commend Nadia for her patience because it took us almost a year of planning on our part before we were ready to take the plunge on such a big project. Nadia kept in touch throughout the time and was ready when we were. The install crew was a pleasure as well. I was impressed with how meticulous they were with the finishing touches. The entire process was smooth and enjoyable. I have been told that our kitchen looks like a picture in a magazine. Thanks Sembro!

SemBro Was a pleasure to deal with. Their price was competitive; they started and finished when they said they would and the quality of workmanship was excellent. They replaced my cabinets; kitchen flooring; countertops and sink/faucet. They added a backsplash and installed a dishwasher. I had the range installed by the appliance supplier because it was a range with a down draft fan that required special installation and duct modification. Even though the experience was trying, eating pizzas and fast food for 2 1/2 weeks, the people at SemBro made it as easy as possible. They cleaned up every night and made as little disruption as possible. I would give them my highest recommendation and would not hesitate to use them again.

Leo was wonderful from beginning to end. We stopped by on a Saturday with no appointment and were treated great. He answered all our questions, found the perfect cabinets, granite and sink. They worked with our timeline as we were doing a complete remodel and doing the floor and painting on our own. The kitchen is beautiful - we will be visiting Leo again to remodel our master bath.

We couldn’t be more pleased with our new kitchen. From start to finish it was relatively painless. The crews were friendly and professional. They took care not to damage existing surfaces and cleaned up daily. Nadia’s design plus the craftsmanship of the products were perfect for our needs. We’re thrilled with our experience and plan to use them for bathroom remodels.

This is the fourth or fifth house they have installed new kitchen cabinets in for me in the past few years, they are totally professional be start to finish. They always seem to have better ideas for the work they do for me and it always turns out great. The quality of the cabinets and workmanship are excellent. Thats why I keep going back to them.

Old carpet and treads from staircase removed. Risers were painted to match existing trim. New treads were cut, installed and stained to match hardwood flooring in our home.

Sembro did a master bath and closet remodel for us and did an amazing job. Their attention to detail was amazing. They made sure everything was perfect, regardless of if it fell within their scope of work. They were extremely responsive and managed the project according to what they had told us in advance so there were no surprises in terms of timelines or effort/costs. They added their own custom extras to help give the area a very custom look and feel. They are very talented and great to work with. They have previously done our kitchen remodel as well as our laundry room remodel. They are great craftsmen and we have loved all of their work.
