Sentry Roofing NH

We had a great experience with Sentry Roofing. The project was completed on schedule and cost was as quoted. Clean up was smooth. You would not have even known they were there.

Team arrived earlier than expected, and easily finished the whole roof in the day. One week later and still haven't found any debris larger than a quarter in the yard, and no nails. I got compliments on the new roof less than an hour after it was installed.

Went very well. Crew was here at 7 in AM and did not leave uintil 6 PM. Took 2 days to do job. Very professional, respected my property. Cleaned up job site completely. Dumpster was picked up next working day, as well as unused materials. Love this roof. What I liked was that payment was not due until job was completed, except for a small deposit to purchase the roofing material.

Great; no major problems. Gave B rather than A because (1) we never received promised paperwork regarding the guarantee for our shingles, and (2) we ended up finding 100's of nails, etc. on the ground around the house. They appeared to do lots of cleaning up, but apparently were not as thorough as we'd assumed. Not a big deal though.

Excellent! TJ and his team were excellent to work with. He was easy to work with and very responsive. The crew showed up on time and took great care in the work. The project took a day to complete. Overall I think the work and experience was very positive and I would recomend them.

From beginning to end this company was A+. Lowest price and offered one of the better warranties. Paul, TJ and Michelle kept us informed through the entire process....from what day the shingles, the crew and the dumpster would arrive. All on time and was done in one day! Paul showed up in the am before the crew began their work to meet with me and go over the scope of the job with his foreman. The crew was very professional, everything was covered to protect the home from damage. The clean up was great! Would recommend this company to anyone! <br />

The job went very well.   The job was started within the timeframe Sentry gave me, the crew came on time, and finished the work on time.   They kept the area cleaned up, and left with everything done and cleaned up.    TG came by a couple days later to go over the work with me.   We climbed the back roof and did a full inspection.   TG noticed some siding that was never fully flush with the drip edge.   While I didn't consider it a Sentry issue, TG offered to return the next time in town and adjust the siding to fit under the new edge.   He kept his word and the edge work is now done right.   I would recommend Sentry, and would use them in the future. <br />

Mr. Paul Modzeleski came immediately to give an estimate.  No money required up front, only after job was finished.  The crew arrived on time on the established date.  They worked hard and paid attention to detail, and finished the whole job in six hours.  Only minor gripe was that it took two days for their sub-contractor dumpster company to come and remove the dumpster from my front yard.  I would definitely use Sentry Roofing again here in NH, and I recommend them heartily.  An uncommonly pleasant and uncomplicated company to do business with.  Note that before I gave them my business I got a number of bids.  Their bid was among the lowest, their description of their service was the clearest, and there was no hard sell.. <br />

I called Paul Modzeleski on a Friday. He came by Monday and gave me an estimate after about 30 minutes of measuring, discussing and calculating. I gave him the go-ahead that night, knowing that he had an opening two days later. (I did not seek estimates elsewhere as a lower estimate would not have particularly interested me; they are not primarily marketing on price.) The shingles and other GAF products were delivered to my driveway by the wholesaler (Heritage Wholesale) on Tuesday, the day before the job. Without my asking, the wholesale delivery man / forklift operator volunteered that Sentry was a great crew. <br /> They got to my house at 8AM Wednesday with a crew of 6, soon augmented to 8. This manpower and their equipment (including a gas-powered hoist) proved enough to do the job the same day, which is a plus when rain threatens later, as it did. They put down tarps, stripped everything off, and put up a new roof with ridge vents and working around skylights. Squashing of foundation plants was minimal and I don't think could have been less (only dying bulb foliage, and a bush that was already brittle and half-dead and slated for replacement, were damaged). <br /> Their crew leader/foreman was knowledgeable and friendly. I was using a pair of binoculars to scan the roof; I pointed out to the foreman a small crease in one of the shingles, which he had a man replace quickly, and without any disagreeableness. They did a very thorough job cleaning up as the job progressed, and at the end of the job, including wheeling around a magnet to pick up nails.  <br /> I am very satisfied and have already recommended them to 2 other couples who, prompted by my news, said they were looking into a roof. <br />

I was impressed with Paul's professionalism as well as his crew's daily dedication in removing the old roof and installing the new roof.   They worked through some very cold weather (and just after a major snowstorm as well).  They even took the time to shovel off an area of the lawn in order to provide a good staging area.  The roof went up relatively fast but appears to have been a very thorough installation.  I guess I will know more as the shingles/roof gets older!  <br /> <br /> <br />

Found flashing missing after the job was done. They had squirted a sealer in the area instead. I left messages explaining the problem and after repeated calls they agreed to come out and look at it, they never showed up. They don't answer the phone so you must leave messages. Finally gave up calling them.  <br /> <br />

It was slowing lightly. They worked so fast, I was afraid of compromising the quality. But it seems okay so far.

Paul came immediately and looked at the roof.  Gave me an estimate and told me he'd be back the following week.  I had to call him at least twice.  He then promised it would be done by the end of the week.  It was. <br />

Sentry Roofing showed up on time and gave us an estimate in the time frame expected.  Very professional and honest when looking at the work to be completed.  Would definitely use them again. <br />

They were professional with their quote and they were fast to respond.  They didn’t require 50% upfront and they were able to start the job in three days.  They estimated that they would do the job in one day and they did all of it.  They did everything they said they would do. It was more comfortable for me to do business with them because I had to pay them only after the job was done. I would have gone with them even if their price was higher because I felt it was less risky compared to a 50% up front.

TJ and his team were amazing start to finish. I would definitely user Sentry again and feel extremely comfortable referring them to friends and family. Sentry was not our lowest quote but TJ's responsiveness, attention to detail, and professionalism are what sealed the deal. Once we awarded our business TJ had an install date that fit our schedule the same day. Material and dumpster were delivered the day before and install was the next day. TJ's team worked quick, were efficient, clenly and extremely polite. They were excellent with our dogs, took out our trash by the back door and some old fence were had hanging around our yard. The earlier review should be removed. It is not accurate and no services were provided. Sentry is well reviewed on Service Magic and if you are looking for an honest, competive and quality roofer you should give TJ a call. You will not be disappointed.
