He replaced it with a better quality part. Did not even suggesting replacing the water heater. Did tell me the cost of replacement when I asked him.

Wow. I was impressed. Their plumber showed up first then shortly after the AC guy showed up for maintenance. Both guys were great and did a awesome job without up selling me. Customer service from office when setting the appointments was excellent. Will use them again and will definitely refer to family and friends.

I called and they got here ASAP. They diagnosed the problem and gave me an estimate. The estimate was very good price so obviously I had them do the work. Plumber was very informative and worked quickly and cleanly. It’s been a couple weeks now and still no problems. They stuck to the estimate no surprise costs. Definitely going to be using them for any work I need done.

lThe technician from Service first said they hadn't been in our attic for two years. I mentioned the new AC unit installed the previous year in July. They could find no record of it even thought I produced a receipt showing not only had they been here in July and sold us an new condenser but in Nov of last year as well for a maintenance check. <br /> Their tech took a picture of the receipt for the new AC. <br /> When we told the office manager that we felt this issue was due to their "cleaning" the Air handler in the attic when they installed the condenser last year(they wanted to check the air handler to make sure it did not need to be replaced along with the condenser outside) and not putting the overflow pipe back through the hole in the attic so any residual water could leak outside they denied any responsibility and then would not accept or return our calls. <br /> When my husband called again to ask if they were going to fix the issue the office manager was very nasty, hung up on us and again said they were not responsible. <br /> It cost almost 3 grand in mold remediation. Fortunately for us we have great insurance and our insurance took care of the mold remediation. <br /> <br /> <br />

From the estimate to the installation everything was detailed and layed out and easy to understand. Jesse said he was going to watch over the job which he did. They cleaned and picked up everything and were very cautious of the property and explained the process along the way. Before the technicians left Jesse took the time to explain the thermostat and how it is programmed. Thank you Jesse and Johnny!! We will definitely use you again for all our family business!! <br />

Overall we are very satisfied. The day they removed our old unit and installed the new one they showed up right on time. They put down tarps that ran from the front door to the attic steps and were very careful to not damage the walls or doors. The ONLY reason I did not give them all A's was because they had told me that it would take about 7-8 hours to complete the work but it ended up taking almost 13 hours (gave them a B under professionalism but didn't know which category above this issue fit into the best). I set it up to have them start between 5:00 & 5:30 AM so it wouldn't run too far into the heat of the day (100 degree highs). They actually had the outside unit complete by about 10:30 and around 11AM the 4 man team went to a 2 man team due to other appointments in their schedule and the 2 man team remaining went to a long lunch break (almost 2 hours). <br /> When they returned, they moved slower than they had in the morning but got the job done. For most this probably wouldn't have been an issue but I had boarded our dogs for the day and HAD to pick them up by 7pm. They finished at 6:40 and I was able to get there just in time but I was getting a little worried towards the end. <br /> As I said earlier, I am very satisfied with the work they did and will definitely use them again and would recommend them to my friends and family. I didn't give them a review right away because I wanted to be sure I didn't have any problems before submitting it. Although it's almost November now, the weather has not gotten cold enough to turn on the heat, so please take that into consideration but the unit has a 10 year warranty and the AC part of the unit has worked great, so we're not anticipating any issues! <br /> <br />

Around 9 PM on a Sunday night, I noticed that my AC unit was not producing cold air - and in Texas during the middle of summer, this was a very big problem. I jumped on Angie's List and found Service First that offered 24/7 support. I called them and they said a technician would be at my house within an hour. As stated, the tech was at my door at an hour on the dot. He quickly determined that the issue was the capacitor and replaced my damaged capacitor with a new one. He checked all the AC vitals and noticed no other problems. The overall experience was great! It's comforting to know that there are service companies out there that you can trust.

got there quick replaced failed part quickly and even made sure the correct amount of freon was in system they also have a very reasonable yearly maintenance program for around 129.00 they come out twice a year to check and do preventive maintenance.

Oh my goodness! To go without A/C last weekend for a whole day in this unbearable heat! Well, by Sunday afternoon I had tried everything I could think of to check and called Service First Mechanical. First of all, I was impressed that I wasn't dealing with voice mail but the owner himself! Mr. Overman very quickly let me know he was already fully booked with service calls for Mon. & Tues. So, he offered to come out later that same day cause I was pretty desperate and hot. He arrived when he said he would and quickly found the source of my problem. The overflow pipe was completely backed up and leaking out all over my floor so he flushed out the unit and saw where there had been some wrong installation done and fixed that too. He was very professional and courteous.
